I cannot imagine having a more positive renovation experience.
We would happily use Beams again for any further renovations and have recommended them to our friends. It was wonderful to work with a designer (Kier) who was uber-responsive, patient, and highly collaborative. I am especially appreciative of the knowledge and experience brought by the contractors (Rodolf) themselves who understand how to work a modern redesign in an old house.
Even with a great design, there were a lot of adjustments to be made along the way (again, vagaries of an Edwardian terraced house). Both the Beams team (Harrison, Sam, Rowan) and the contractors were flexible, proactive, and kept me up-to-date.
Adrian and Cris (Rodolf) were a total pleasure to have around, very good at communicating and working with me to find solutions. They were very respectful of our space and made a genuine effort to keep things as tidy and unobtrusive as possible. I was entirely comfortable having them in the house (I was mostly at home alone with them and, as a woman, this is important). And of course, they did beautiful work!
Overall, I cannot imagine having a more positive renovation experience. We had peace of mind that everything was in hand, from design to supplies to installation. Beams provides a fantastic service and I hope to see them expand further.

Very knowledgeable and great advice
We had our initial planning call with Julia, and she took us through all the steps involved in planning, designing and building our new kitchen. She gave some great advice on layout and how to keep costs down. I feel way more confident about going ahead with the renovation now!

We’ve looked into what happened, and our planner Rosie was on the line at the scheduled time, tried to call your phone twice (both calls going to voicemail), and also emailed to try to figure out what might be going wrong. Rosie also stayed on the line for 20 minutes in case there’d been a mix-up. We know tech can sometimes fail, but we hope you can see how we really did try our best to reach you.

Never received quote
Had an initial call with a member of their sales team who said he would follow up with a quote in a couple of days. Never received the quote despite sending a couple of reminders over the course of two weeks. Highly unprofessional.

Great design experience
I only carried out the design phase with beams, but I loved the designer I was paired with. She completely brought our vision to life and helped us source all the right materials and fittings with the order lead times we required. This was a huge time saver for us!
