Beaver Wood Fuels (UK) Avis 

I been waiting a long time now for my order which I still have not received.

Used Beaver Wood Fuels for the first time for a pallet of wood, and have to say I am very disappointed.
Firstly it took over 5 weeks for the wood to arrive, and then the quality is poor compared to previous companies I have used. The wood is incredibly light and burns like a soft wood, and the entire centre of the pallet was filled with un-split branches, around 40mm in diameter! Would not recommend using.

Regretting this purchase if I'm honest as the saying goes, you pay your money and take your chance... it seemed a get deal, £50 less than my normal suplyer for slightly less hard wood however the wood is more like soft than hard and the quality isn't great so we are getting through it rapidly, o and the quantity is far less than the 0.1M3 in comparison to my normal suplyer so the Moto is let the buyer beware

You were not able to fill my order but took over three weeks to inform me. Once informed you refunded my money very quickly. Would have preferred to know sooner though.

Great wood not too large which is awesome and well packed so plenty of logs without any gaps.

My issue was with the delivery, first it was a Friday, then Monday, finally arrived Tuesday, the driver moaned about our gravel drive, and!!
Finally he reversed onto our drive only to take out our telephone cable, great no internet for 3 days until fixed by BT.

The delivery promised on the web site was missed by a mile and the proportion of birch wood is very high at least 50%. Birch burns too quickly in my opinion. I will not be ordering again.

Communicating on delivery was poor.

Truly terrible service, from start to finish. I contacted them BEFORE I placed an order to make sure it could be delivered on a 7.5 tonne vehicle as it needed to be delivered to the back of my property and access is tight. They confirmed it could, so I booked it. Once I booked it, I then contacted them again to make sure they had actually booked the smaller vehicle. They confirmed they had. They have then proceeded to try to delivery on an 18 tonne vehicle 4 times... and failed, obviously. Now they want to charge ME for the failed deliveries and, despite the fact that I placed the order on 22nd September and still have no wood (today is 5th November), they have offered me a partial refund of £157.98 against my order of £207.98!! Genuinely AWFUL company. Avoid.

There was a problem with my order. It wasn’t all delivered and I panicked. I do have to say that your Customer Service did pick up on it when I sent my query in and sorted things out eventually.
So maybe harsh. 3 stars but having to wait so long is the reason .It is definitely 5 stars for your customer service staff

I know that I should have looked at the delivery information first unfortunately I did not and was therefore quite shocked when I was informed by the delivery driver that I had to dispose of the pallet myself ( how do you do this?). I have to pay the local council to do this.
I purchased the ten bag choice which seems to have disappeared from the advertisement and although I am not a hundred percent positive I thought it said that each bag contained between 18 and 22 logs the most in any bag that I have seen is between 8 and 10 logs I do however stand to be corrected.
I have not as yet used any of the logs so am unable to quote on there burning efficiency.

No problem ordering. Logs good value.
The only thing was delivery driver had to reverse down small lane to unload then only had pallet truck. Driver was very good

Well, I ordered the wood October 14th.
The shipping said 2 to 5 days..
It is now November 4th, no sign of the wood delivery...

Hoping it arrives very soon..

Sorry, can't give a review of the logs....

I was informed when ordering that it would take 2 to 3 days for delivery - I think once it arrived it took 10 days and that was after me calling up to advise that unless it was delivered the next day I would be cancelling my order. However I can confirm that the quality of the wood delivered burns well!

Goods did not arrive as planned and was not notified

Very poor service ordered a pallet of logs says 2/5 days 2 weeks later still no pallet phoned them they said the they have lost order and don’t know where it is so will resend another out to me on a next day service nearly 3 weeks later it turns up never ordering again from them

Exceptional phone service. Honest information and good email communication. The logs are so far burning well ... once established I'm getting approximately an hour from each average log ... thank you.
