Beaver Wood Fuels (UK) Avis 

Appalling level of service - order still not received 3 weeks later, have emailed numerous times and tried calling with no success and the order still not received.

I then received a generic email apologising for the delay but due to haulage issues they hoped it would be delivered by the end of this week, I find that appalling as I received an email from palletways nearly two weeks ago saying they had received my consignment but still not received.

I will contacting my card provider to recovet the payment and report this company.

Beaverwood - don’t insult me by pasting your generic response to reviews - I receive orders for my business most weeks via palletways and this is generally distpatched the same day as ordered and the received the next day so don’t blame the haulage industry for your substandard service.

Wood is fine but order didn't arrive for over 2 weeks. I had to call twice to chase

Terrible service. Placed 2 orders and the first one arrived without any notification of delivery date and fortunately we were gone. Second order has only partly arrived despite being told that would arrive within 2-3 days. Never receive any reply to emails. Will not be using again and will put a review of my experiences on your website.

Waited for almost a month for delivery, fine that is par for the course with disruptions currently being experienced. The advert described "logs". Unfortunately, 40% of the consignment could be described as kindling with a large number of branches and certainly not logs. First time using beaver Woods, usually buy from the other big name providers, will not be using Beaverwood again. Did send photos and email, over a week ago to the customer service, but nothing received in return - reinforcing the poor comms.

I have not received my order and yet this company has taken payment. I have emailed them three times now and had no response.

Lovely logs, easy to burn and all the logs where well seasoned and dry!

Good quality wood in heavy duty recyclable polythene bags. One bag was split and the logs inside it were wet but otherwise no problems. Disappointed to find that the logs came from Latvia.

Received wood in well packaged pallet and delivered nicely on driveway so I could get car on still. Nice amount of wood, only gripe is wood seems a bit too dry abd will burn very quickly.
Overall very good 👍

The wood never turned up. I called them. They never called back.

Quality so I’m very pleased with that.
There were delays with delivery and the pallet company didn’t give good delivery date details.
However with everyone suffering from delivery problems as the supply chains are struggling it would be unfair to mark you down for that.
The important thing is the wood is here and it’s top quality.

Logs were wet and damp, despite being kiln dried, no covering on the top so had i not been in they would have got even more wet had it rained. The pallet i saw on the website looked huge but when it came it was a lot smaller than expected. I think the photo of the pallet on the website was probably played around with to make it look bigger than it was. About 1/5 of the logs were kindling size.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY

1. I ordered at September 19th and received my delivery October 22nd (unannounced, although I called earlier in the week with palletways myself to coordinate) at 8 am with a driver that could not back in to our street. I can tell you from experience this never happens. Garbage collection, movers, they all can get there but your driver could not and he had to leave the load half parked on the road.
2. The bags maxi bags should weigh 10 kg +/-0.2% well I checked two one 7.2 kg and one 7.6 kg. I am pretty sure that is not from drying the wood.

After a delay in shipping the logs arrived this morning. Well packed so easy toove & store. Quality looks excellent

Amazing great communication and products arrived on time..

Beaver are excellent as are the logs they sent out. The communication from Beaver was great as there was an initial delay due to transport issues, they kept me informed and true to their word informed me once the logs were with Palletways there delivery suppliers.
Sadly their communication is hopeless, they sent me an email confirming all the details except the important one the delivery date. I had asked to be contacted prior to delivery so I could take a day off/work from home to receive the drop. I got no contact from them at all and arrived home at 8pm to find 500KG of logs sat on my drive. As it was just starting to rain I had to move it all to the log store there and then.
Beaver Wood fuels 5 stars, excellent. The logs burn really well , probably the best I've had ( and I've tried a few suppiers).
Palletways 2 star, could do a lot better on the communication front.

Arrived next day as promised, the wood was dry and burns really well.

Took a long time coming - no contact regarding actual day of delivery just anytime, needed to open gates for delivery

I placed my order on 22nd September and am still awaiting delivery. The original order was due for delivery within 5 to 10 working days of placing that order. To Beaver Wood’s credit after a couple of days they told me to expect a delay. A couple of weeks later I received an email from them, telling me my consignment was on it’s way and that Palletways would contact me to confirm a delivery date and time. After another week or so I chased Beaver Wood for an update and was given a consignment number and tracking details. According to Palletways the consignment was due to arrive today (20th October) between 10.43 and 12.43. To ensure I was at home when the delivery arrived I cancelled plans with friends but frustratingly the consignment didn’t arrive. At 3.00pm I contacted Palletways for an update only to find the delivery vehicle had problems with it’s tail lift and would not be delivering today. I have been assured my delivery will arrive 21st October so I have again cancelled plans for the 21st. I have everything crossed the logs I ordered have been worth the wait!

Update - the logs arrived on the 21st October as promised and I have to say I’m delighted with the quality of the delivery. The driver from Palletways was excellent and managed to manoeuvre the crated logs directly into my garage - which saved me a whole bunch of time and effort. I would use Beaver Wood again (and just allow a bit of leeway around delivery dates).
