LETHAL ASBESTOS AND FLOODING

Have just been informed that there is a serious asbestos problem in the ‘secure and safe’ property Believe passed over last Wednesday. The rain is now flooding through the front door into the hallway. They started taking rent immediately because they said the property was habitable. We are now taking the matter up with the ombudsman. A complete disgrace from the local council.

There should be an option here for Zero…

There should be an option here for Zero Stars as this company is by far the worst I've ever had dealings with.
Over a year ago, I phoned, emailed and filled in their online message service asking why my anual service charge on a one bedroom flat had gone from £99 the previous year to a staggering £266.36? To this day I never received a reply of any sort and was forced to pay it.
On the 14th November this year I called and filled in their online message service again asking a simple question of how much it would cost to extend the lease? Despite 6 telephone calls and further emails and their promises that team leaders would call me back, I've had absolutely nothing!! They are absolutely ignorant and offer no customer service at all. On one occasion I asked if they were inundated with correspondence and complaints and was told "no, not really". Unbelievable.

Bunch of liars!

This housing association has got to be one of the worst in the country! When I first moved in I had a very large damp patch which after a few weeks was a result of a leaking roof. When I called to report the fault I said it’s a dangerous leak because the water was running through and into the consumer unit for the electrics. The agent on the phone said it wasn’t an emergency and someone will be out within 30 days. The neighbourhood team are a bunch of liars, especially Lisa. I was told before I accepted the offer for the property that I wouldn’t have an issue parking and there is ample on street parking, well that was a lie as the street in being used as a car/van dealership. I was also told that the neighbour in the question is a mortgaged property owner, but I often see Believes minions going into the property to do work. I was told that I was to speak to the police or council regarding the parking issue and as you would expect neither were interested as it’s a public street. When I had my final review at 9 months (you have one at 6 and 9 months. She forgot the lies she told me and proceeded to tell me the police have already been involved and the council before with the previous tenant in the same issue. So basically they lie to get you into their less favourable properties, I bet if I can’t get to work because I can’t move my car you’ll be happy I can’t afford my rent then yeah? Despite all the lies I’m back on the housing register and of course they banded me band 4!

Think twice before accepting a Believe…

Think twice before accepting a Believe property and don't 'Believe' a word that Tracy Stone (Housing Officer) tells you... I ended up with a 'neighbour from hell' next door to me who started on me as my furniture was being unloaded from the removal van! My movements in and out of my home are constantly monitored by her and her husband up the windows and doors back and front and that of my visitors...
My mental health is through the floor and I'm having counselling and I don't go out any more, I'm elderly and in a wheelchair, and the nice neighbour the other side said the couple were like it with the old guy who had dementia who lived here before me and had to go into care.....Believe just give lip service.... They won't give them a warning of anything constructive to stop them invading my privacy.... They are only interested in their rent! 9 months on and I've never been so unhappy in my home.

Allowed a family business to go…

Allowed a family business to go bankrupt by using imperita developments, they may look good in their glossy leaflets, but behind the scenes, they couldn’t care less, money motivated company, look into imperita 4 front street Stanley Co Durham, it’s who these people use, they couldn’t lay a brick or knock a nail in, but believe pay them to run their jobs, sending companies bankrupt.
Sent Nelsons a family run business to the wall, I'm absolutely disgusted as a county councillor these people operate in our county.

Just had ashley the plumber out from believe for one of our service users and have to leave a review, what a great lad and so helpful, resolved the tenants issues really quickly and with respect which is always appreciated

Most excellent landlords

After a night out and a long lie in discovered we had no heating or hot water.Phoned Believe and after only an hour and a quarter the fitter arrived,diagnosed and fitted a new sensor.The only way the job could be done quicker is if I was a gas fitter. Thank you to the lady who answered my call and especially to the engineer.
