These guys are great - high quality products and extra special customer service. I've had 3 tents from them in the last 10 years (upgrading to bigger ones each time) and they've been so helpful.

Excellent, fast delivery, very knowlagble staff

I bought a 5m Ultimate with zipped in groundsheet in 2012. We did our research first and no doubt that these were, and are, the best Belltents on the market - it really seems indestructable, and impenetrable by weather. Incidentally we have friends who splashed out well over £1500 on a Lotus Belle tent last year and camped with us in France... after squeezing it in separate parts into their XC90, with 3 children, they had barely any room left for any other equipment...worse still it let every conceivable insect in because, by design, it is just not sealed and has big gaps so everything can get in. We have had so much pleasure from our 5m and it’s still in regular use. I’m thinking of going back to Belltent.co.uk to get a Toureg tent too, purely for a change of scene, dimension and layout and because our 3 children are now all teens, and with their friends etc, the Belltent now feels like their tent!

I bought a bell tent from this company about 10 years ago, and it's still serving me and my family well at festivals and family camping holidays, despite the rain that is a typical UK summer. I had expert advise and a lot of help from the Bell Tent office, who also delivered the bell tent to me and gave after-care instructions on the best way to store it etc. They are a lovely bunch, who I meet from time to time at UK festivals, where they run super-organised, but also fun, bell tent hotels. I have recommended them to friends who are in the market to buy bell tents, and to friends who just want to enjoy a glamping experience at a festival without the hassle of putting up/taking down a tent.

Sensational service. My delivery arrived very quickly and the customer service was very helpful with any questions.

Appaling service. Ordered an awning and 2 pole kits in Aug '18. After seeing the pole kits back in stock 3 weeks later it took an e-mail and a phonecall to get them sent with assurances that the awning would be sent in September. They got in touch in January (I had almost forgotten about it at this point) to say it would be early spring delivery, then it was end of May, and then finally the end of June at which point I decided I would rather have a refund, which to be fair was given promptly. Maybe don't advertise products on your site if they aren't going to be in stock for 10 months? Or maybe change your supplier. How do you run a business like that, half the site seems to be on pre-order. Minimal apologies and helpfulness from cs. Avoid!

Super service. Ordered on Thursday - received my tent four days later, and that was delivery to Ireland. Very reasonable postage rate too.

Belltent.co.uk came highly recommended to me by a local business person who had purchased a large quantity of bell tents for their glamping business. Prior to this recommendation I had visited Bell tent.co.uk and thought that the website was very informative and highly professional. I was seeking a PRO Mesh Belltent in order to try it on a site that is prone to midges. My hope was that if the tent worked well on the site that we would purchase a number of other tents. At the time of the order this tent was not in stock but I was prepared to wait for it. After a number of weeks I emailed for an update on the order and was told that they were being delivered to the warehouse the following week and would be sent out as soon as they arrived in. Up until this point I had no issues. The following week I received an email to say that they had received an incorrect shipment of tents and that they could offer a full refund or send a Bell tent with a Mesh door panel instead. At this point I decided to ring their Sales number to discuss my options. I was not angry at this point as I understood that in business sometimes orders do get mixed up. My main concern was that It had taken me a while to decide on a particular tent and I was hoping to speak to a member of staff to get advice on how I should proceed. Nobody answered my call. After 3 days of calling someone finally answered. When I asked if I could speak to a particular member of staff they said 'Why should I speak to you'. I couldn't believe it. When I then asked if I had the right person I didn't get any response and i could still hear them moving around in the background. Now I'm all for a bit of banter but to me this was extremely unprofessional and I still cant believe that they answered the phone in this way. I hung up and rang the number again and it continued to ring out. I left a voicemail and sent emails asking for a phone call and then received a reply to say that they had an 'emergency' shipment of Pro mesh bell tents from China arrive that day and would they proceed with the order. At this point I was so sick of this company I said to go ahead and send it but in the same email I also explained why I had been trying to contact them by phone. I got no response to that email. That was over two weeks ago. I received my tent yesterday and guess what...It's not the tent I ordered. I will never again deal with this company and I would strongly advise other people to do the same. I cannot understand how this company is in business when they have such an appalling attitude to their customers.

We're very happy with our bell tent which we've used loads over the last 6 years. i am now having some trouble with water coming in over the Aframe but am completely unable to speak to anyone for advice on how best to manage this. I am disappointed with the poor followup with no-one answering the phone or responding to emails at all over a couple of weeks of trying. Generally a great product but consider another supplier if you expect customer service...

I have had my bell tent from this company, and camped in it in some of the worst of stormy British weather regularly for over four years, and with the proper care, it is still as good as the day we bought it.
If you are choosing , our version has been a godsend, because when everybody elses tents flooded at a couple of festivals , our bell was bone dry because of the top quality canvas and stitching, and the zip on groundsheet which attached a few inches above ground so no leaking, but unzips quickly so you can roll up the sides and use it like a gazebo.
We also got the version with the superior pole and it has been as steady and quiet as can be in some very bad gales.
The triangle door frame is also really useful making the entrance sturdy.
The company also offer a clean, repair and waterproof service, and a great range of furnishings.
You can have your tent adapted with a chimney vent for a woodburner too.
The great thing about the canvas is it keeps heat in at night but is cooler in the daytime because it is more breathable than synthetic tents.
The bell tent UK company makes the best tents and they are worth the money. Not that much heavier than the average family tent it is so much better with loads of head room even for the giants in the family and the one pole system means it's up in 20 minutes, including pegging in , even when you put it up alone.
When we bought ours the delivery was within ten days and we received emails about after care and customer service about our opinion on their service.
All in all, I would always by canvas from them, the only reason it lost a star was that they used delivery that chose extra for coming to our area, which may be on an island, but it is straight along the A road with no tolls, no different than travelling the same distance on the mainland .

The website at belltent is great and offers lots of great glamping products. Unfortunately, when we ordered it took two reminder emails and a threat to report them to the credit card company before the goods showed up. In total it took just under 3 months before we got what we had ordered despite the goods being "in Stock". If they pull their socks up they could be good. Until then I'd avoid them.
