The products are awesome. Website is a little confusing and I would have appreciated you letting me know I needed the chamfer when I bought the plugs. Also, duties are a pain. Can you stock in US?

One purchases Benchdog Tools with great anticipation. Now, imagine your airline has reduced your treasure to a deflected piece of junk. Saddened? Yes, certainly. That is until Miss Hannah and the Benchdog Customer Service Team gets involved! She ensured I had a replacement product quickly in spite of the problem not being theirs. They took the airline's cupability and turned frowns into smiles!

The whole Benchdog brand just reeks of quality. Quality tools. Quality packaging. Quality service. Just can’t recommend them enough! Beyond happy.

The only constructive criticism I could offer would be to add a bit of colour to the tool finishes - not just the black and white on offer.

Not yet put to use, but I didn’t hesitate to order it: the pocket hole jig from Benchdogs.co.uk. While most manufacturers just produce a sturdier version of the Kreg jig, Benchdogs.co.uk added a few innovative extras, such as the ability to secure the jig without clamps in a couple of MFT holes. And the supports can be inserted at any desired distance into an MFT sheet. In short, a pocket hole jig that finally adds essential improvements to the original!

I have ordered multiple items from Benchdog Tools and I love the quality and innovation they bring to the woodworking world. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be and one of the reasons I first looked at their site was that they use very clear markings on their products, no more squinting for me. Every item is always packed beyond all reasonable expectation so unsurprisingly, even though many items were fragile, I have never received a damaged order from them. I fact my only gripe is that they waited until I'd bought a competitors pocket hole jig before they released theirs.

Charged me over £40 for two thumb turn knobs and two tiny bolts. These were required to help take the slop/ movement out of a guide rail hinge which imo should have been solid from the outset.

Machining is good but fundamental design flaws in 2 out of the 3 items I’ve bought from BD.

Absolutely superb quality kit, excellent packaging.

Picked up a set of parallel guides from Benchdogs UK and they’ve genuinely transformed the way I work. The build quality is outstanding – solid, precise, and clearly made by people who actually understand the needs of woodworkers. Setup was straightforward, everything locks in beautifully, and the accuracy is spot on every single time.

What I really like is the attention to detail: clean machining, no slop anywhere, and the guides stay perfectly aligned even after repeated cuts. They’ve saved me a ton of time on sheet goods and completely removed the guesswork. Easily one of the best workshop investments I’ve made in years.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants reliable precision without any faff. Benchdogs UK have absolutely nailed it.

I recently purchased an Ultra Workstation which is a fantastic product and I’m really pleased with it. During shipping some damage had occurred, I reported this to the Benchdogs team, got an immediate response and not only did the damaged parts get replaced these were personally bought to me by Ralph from Benchdogs. I am so pleased with the service. It is exemplary, not only the service but a brilliant product, British made by a British company. Will I be buying more from Benchdogs- you bet I will. Do I recommend Benchdogs and their products- you bet I do.

Great advice from customer service, the products are very well made and packaged. The Mk 3 rail square is cleverly designed to fit a variety of tracks and beautifully put together. The MFT style top, in moisture resistant mdf, is CNC machined so very accurate and nicely finished with chamfered dog holes. Yet to use in earnest but very pleased so far and delighted to see a British firm responding to the market with excellent, innovative designs and being successful across the pond and elsewhere.

Recently purchased a T Square from Benchdogs. It’s a fantastic tool to measure when laying out cabinets. As you would expect the build quality and customer service are top class. It’s the most expensive ruler I think i’m ever likely to buy! But any hesitations I had about investing in quite a specific tool were laid to rest when I started using it on jobs, it is so accurate and well made… they make you back your investment in the time and quality improvements allowing you to speed up your workflow and create better work.
