There was one session where we learned about certain aspects of AI and machine learning, such as deep learning, neural networks, and supervised and unsupervised learning. They really go in depth with the information. After each session there is code to go along with what we learned during that class and you work on it to make some tweaks here and there to change it up a bit after looking at an example, which was nice considering that I was pretty much unfamiliar with coding. Then there was another session where you worked one-on-one with a mentor and wrote code to build your application using multiple services and platforms. It was great and I really learned a lot while building my application. My application was for pharmaceutical services and advice that families who are unfamiliar with the medical world could utilize.

It was wonderful to see my son take a project from concept to completion in just four weeks. Throughout the program, he gained valuable hands-on experience using AI to build a real-world project, which significantly boosted his confidence and technical skills.

The mentors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always available to guide the students whenever they needed help. In addition to the technical learning, they also provided excellent coaching on presentation skills, ensuring the students could confidently and effectively showcase their work. Overall, it was a rewarding experience that gave my son both practical skills and the confidence to bring his ideas to life.

It was good but my program got messed up also the time was not enough during sessions to fix issues.

It was good. they have a better Organised Plan for kids and communication to parents and kids. The topics and mentorship was good. The mentorship sessions duration is a concern, they have to be atleast an hour. Kids would get more insights and they can discuss more and plan their development projects/ programs

BetterMind Labs was a very productive course. I learned about the full stack coding process and utilized my learning and created a deliverable application.

We liked the accelerated format and the reasonable price. It requires quite a time commitment.I liked the final presentation requirement as well.

My experience at BetterMind Labs was great! Not only did I learn more about how AI works behind the scenes, but I also got to learn how to build a working application that can solve significant problems. I gained more insight and exposure through this program, especially since I walked in with CS experience in Java and Swift but not on the AI side whatsoever.

I think it a great and I got a lot of information from this. It was truly worth taking this program. I discovered several other AI applications that makes life easy and also how AI works. For example, how is AI able to think so fast and give almost accurate result?

Overall, I enjoyed how interactive this program was as well.

I learned a lot from this program with previously little to no knowledge on AI and ML. I gained some insight into application building and how to use visual studio code to bring your ideas into creation. One point of critique is that during the instructor led sessions, there wasn't many opportunities where you could validate the information you just learned. Other than the mini quizzes within meetings, I felt that we were learning a lot of information but weren't doing enough to make sure we remember it all.

I really liked all the aspects of the program like working with mentors working with other students with similar interests and having creative expression. For incoming students I think a better explanation of the program and the groups for the mentor sessions would help reduce stress on both sides and mabye extending project building time by a week would help too. Overall it’s great value for money.

Being a student at BetterMind Labs has been an incredibly valuable experience. Often staying long after calls were supposed to end just to ensure we fully understood concepts and stayed on track. Overall, it was a very educating experience and I was able to develop many skills that I can apply anywhere and that will prove to be very useful for me in the future.

The experience with BetterMind Labs was very enlightening and enriching. I genuinely enjoyed the lectures, as well as the small group specialization!

I have taken both the 4 week AI/ML certification program and the 12 week advanced program. I think the program, despite having some downsides relating to its depth, is ultimately quite beneficial due to the undeniable breadth of AI/ML concepts it covers.

To start, the course is online, so that will naturally limit what it can teach you. An online course for me simply didn't feel as immersive and won't be as exciting as it could have been. Also, I thought that a few of the webinar-styled lessons on topics I didn't really like felt like they dragged on. Because the course is intended to teach many concepts in AI/ML in just a few months (when fully learning everything takes years, so this is to be expected), it can't fully dive through deep rabbit holes relating to one specific concept. The mentors do a decent job explaining, but analogies have to be used as opposed to a highly technical and mathematical perspective.

Despite these drawbacks, there are some stellar parts about the program that I simply can't ignore. To start, this program does a project for both courses: the first program has a basic project with a team of 2 (plus mentor), while the second has a more complex individual+mentor project that feels a lot more forgiving in terms of timing. These give the real deal. The projects showed me with brutal honesty how hard it is to create an app totally from scratch, and made me regard the experience of finally completing my super rewarding.

Even though I forgot some of the concepts, just because of the sheer number of stuff I needed to learn, I will always have a very robust view of what someone means when he/she says "AI developer". I now know that building a model entails not just using a model, but compiling everything about I knew about computer science to build a complex micro-serviced structure with a connected front-end and back-end. I also know that "AI" is a fairly generic term and encloses so many more specific career paths within it, such as ML engineering, back-end developer, and even prompt engineering. To me, it's better to learn how complex a field is and forget a few of the concepts than to not be exposed to the field's complexity in the first place.

Essentially, the drawbacks aren't because the program is poorly run, but because it is a few-month online program with a finite scope. Although this program isn't magic and isn't fun every single second, I saw it as a good bang for my buck due to it being realistic and opening doors to many fields within AI development, not just one or two.

We had an amazing experience with Bettermind labs and would highly recommend. My teen worked on real world projects and presentations and got good advice from mentors along the way who helped guide her!

I had a really great experience at BetterMind Labs. The program helped me learn how machine learning models actually work and gave me the opportunity to build my own project from start to finish. I ended up developing an AI-based stock forecasting web app using Python and historical market data.

I appreciated that the program encouraged problem solving instead of just following tutorials. I spent a lot of time working through data cleaning, debugging code, and experimenting with different models before I found what works for me. Overall, it was a very valuable experience and I’m glad I had the opportunity to be part of it.

I was taught how to use Python on a very deep level, being able to understand each line of code. The Program was great at helping beginners like me, understand coding and the uses of AI and ML on a deep scale. I enjoyed this experience, and would recommend. One downside that I had experienced, was being able to manage sessions. A lot of times, we fell short when it came to trying to meet the deadline. We eventually did, but we did leave out 1-2 parts of our project due to the time constraint.
