Brooklyn was amazing at getting everyone settled and welcome. The events she planned were so much fun and brought people together quickly.

Beyond Academy is an excellent organization for gaining experience in your field of study while exploring new parts of the world.During my two-month stay in London, I grew more independent, gained clarity about my future career path, and where I can see myself living. I made valuable connections and discovered many exciting places, including Cambridge, the shopping streets, vibrant markets, parks, delicious bakeries, and world-class theaters and museums. I loved my time in London, and Beyond Academy made it easy to settle into a new home for the summer. I would also say that the Beyond team communicates well with the interns. One thing I would say is that I did have to travel quite far from my internship, and if I did this experience again, I would try and find my own accommodations.

I think it was really the people that made this experience special and valuable to me. I was placed in my second choice of desired industry, but I still intended to make the most of it. I learnt that it wasn’t really for me, and so may not add too much to my career experience. But I think meeting different people (other interns and the Seoul community team) helped me make long lasting friends from around the world that are very valuable. The career workshops as part of the Beyond Academy program were able to make up some parts that the internship couldn’t. Nonetheless, I would say the program is fun, insightful, and a once in a lifetime experience.

I had a great experience with Beyond Academy in Amsterdam! I enjoyed the internship they helped me find, and I liked the people I met. My group leader (Brooklyn) was also very helpful. She was great at responding, gave some great suggestions for around Amsterdam, and was super fun to be around!

I submitted my resume online and they reached out to do an online interview, saying that they will discuss my goals, expectations and get to know me better. Then came the zoom interview, and the only question the interviewer asked me was if I was interested in another location. She said that I didn’t meet the requirements for the location I selected. They could have asked me that by email since they had my resume, instead of wasting my precious time! How unprofessional!! I have never met such self-oriented business.

I had the best time, the Beyond Academy team is lovely, NYC is everything I've ever dreamed of, and I loved my internship so much!! I met the most amazing people, I learned so much, and I feel like a whole new person fr - definitely recommend!!!!

Career Progression + Amazing People + Being Abroad = best decision ever

I was really happy with my experience at Beyond. When my initial internship didn't turn out the way I expected, I was able to work with the team at Beyond and my intern company to find a solution that satisfied everyone. I was happy that the Beyond staff worked so hard to make sure I was satisfied with my internship experience. In the end, I found not only a better company to continue my internship but also a permanent working position within that company after my internship ended. I was able to meet really cool people and had some great experiences through this program as well. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in trying an internship experience here in Seoul, as long as you come with the right mindset. Remember the Korean working environment is probably much different than what you are used to. So if you are a flexible type of person and think you can handle it, give it a try.

I have had one of the most amazing and memorable experiences here in Seoul with Beyond Academy. Not only do you get a fulfilling internship experience, but the events they’re organise and the community coordinators are the best bits!! They make you feel at home and the interns and coordinators become a little family!! I really recommend this experience, as it is an amazing way to grow as a person while also building an amazing opportunity to write on your CV. I would 100% consider doing another internship with Beyond!

Work during the day but immerse yourself in the culture at night. Meet new people and travel across Seoul with ease. Even walking alone I felt safe no matter the distance. I had the full support of the staff 24/7 and they gave me advice, helped me adjust, and even helped me practice my Korean. It was a great time spent in Seoul that made me not want to leave. I was given the tools necessary to get around and felt prepared to explore on my own. I got to meet people from around the world, make new Korean friends, try so many delicious foods, and practice my Korean.

I went through Beyond Academy Internship Program to get an an internship in London in 2022 and it
has been so far the best experience in my life! Could not expected better! The location of the accommodation was perfect: a very central and dynamic area! At the beginning I had a little problem with my accommodation but the Beyond Academy team has been very responsive. In only few days I was in a better accommodation in the same building. The whole team is very caring and in case of a problem, they will fix it in a very short time. My internship was very interesting and in a very great area also. The trips organized by Beyond were well chosen; there were different styles of trips: cultural, food, drinks, excursions, visits of London monuments... For all tastes!

During my internship in Seoul, I learned so much and had such a wonderful time. I was able to meet a lot of interesting people in my industry who I never would have had the chance to meet otherwise, so the networking chances were fantastic. The friendships I developed with the other interns were the icing on the cake, and it was an amazing experience getting to know so many people from different countries. The coordinators are really kind and helpful, and also fun! The weekly events organised for us were fantastic, and they made the whole experience that much more enjoyable and educational. The office environment was not only friendly, but also entertaining and very generous. This was my first trip to South Korea, so I wanted to make sure I could enter and stay in the country without any problems as I don't even speak the language. Beyond Academy ensured that I could do all of that prepared to answer any question I had. My internship was the best possible experience.

My internship with Beyond Academy was absolutely amazing! It was worth the investment for further my professional and cultural growth. Through this program, I was able to meet and work under talented individuals in my field. I gained a better understanding of the corporate world and am very excited to apply what I learnt in America. Additionally, the BA staff members are so loving and will ensure that you make the most of your time in Korea. For potential interns, please go into the program looking to grow to your fullest potential!

The Seoul program made my first internship experience convenient, exciting and led me to meet some wonderful people. Coming to a foreign country for an internship is a daunting task, but with the help of everyone in Beyond Academy, especially the on-site coordinators, it was an easy transition into a new culture and city! The amount of passion the on-site coordinators have and the time they take to make sure every intern really experiences Seoul, is amazing to me. I have made friendships that will last a lifetime and connections in my work network that could help me exponentially in the future. Even though I had been to Korea before coming through Beyond Academy, the on-sight coordinators introduced me to different parts of the Korean culture that I had never seen before. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to experience a new culture and build their network whether it is your first time or if you are returning to Korea! I wish I could have stayed longer!

Doing an internship with Beyond Academy was one of the best decisions I ever made. I became so close with everyone in the program including the people who ran it for the Seoul trip. So many of them have become my life long friends including the ones I met at my internship! I got to experience so much through this. Having never been somewhere so drastically different from my home I can confidently say I still felt welcomed and at home like I’d been there all my life. I got to experience and learn about cultures and traditions that were completely new to me and it was eye opening! Getting to meet so many people of different backgrounds changed me as a person and I am so grateful for that. This is something I wish everyone to experience at least once in their life no matter which location they choose.

I did their Seoul program and really enjoyed the experience! I know the price tag seems scary, and originally I was worried I was being scammed, but the Beyond Academy team was super awesome and stayed connected with me the entire time, even going so far as to having a zoom meeting with the coordinators to answer all my questions! I really love the company I was matched with, and all the excursions were a bonus! Very little to complain about imo

Couldn’t have gone through a better company for my international internship! I worked in London for 3 months with the help of Beyond Academy who really took into consideration exactly what I was looking for in a job, gave me an amazing overall abroad experience, and a put me in a comfortable living situation! It was so nice to have the help with the entire process of finding a job, getting a visa, and giving me an accommodation to live in. All things that can be so stressful and timely they made sooo easy! The events were also so fun! It was so nice to meet people in the program with me and the staff were incredible! I was able to make amazing friends, work at a great job, and live in an incredible city. If I had the chance to do it all over again I would 100%!

My internship in Seoul with an environmental organization was truly exceptional, thanks to the amazing people I worked with and the team at Beyond Academy. They provided invaluable support, making my time there unforgettable. They organised events to assist me adjust to a new country, which I greatly appreciated. I had an amazing time with Beyond Academy. First of all the internship was a great opportunity for me to gain experience. I had a lot of fun and my colleagues were very friendly and helpful.
But also in my free time I had a lot of fun. Thanks to the amazing coordinators we did some very cool activities and we were able to explore the culture more.
Throughout my internship program at Beyond Academy I became very good friends with the other interns so I never had to feel alone. I had a very nice time during the Beyond Academy program and I definitely would recommend it.

It was indeed a gamechanger for me as this internship really helped me in finding my way into the design industry. The time I spent with the beyond family will be a memorable one that I will always keep close.
