I used their measurements to choose the size for my boy's first shoes, but they are too small. Now, I need to pay £2 to return them and another £4 for delivery on the correct size. This means I will lose £10 on delivery and return fees altogether, just to buy one pair of shoes.
A total of £40 for a pair of textile shoes, including delivery, is not worth it. The sole is also very hard for a 'barefoot' shoe; I can hardly bend it at all. I don’t think I will buy from them again.

We have had various shoes from bgreater now and I couldn't recommend them more highly. My son's school shoes were still near perfect when he outgrew even with the generous sizing. The trainers also last well and come in lovely colours, the kids certainly Approve of them. I have even bought myself a pair of their lace up ones and they are so comfortable.

Their customer service is also wonderful, I've always had a timely response to any queries.

We ordered shoes from BGreater because my partner researched comfortable school shoes and liked the look of this independent store.

On the website, there are multiple advertisements about receiving a free shoe measurer with every order. Fine I thought, it didn't influence my decision to order from them but I'll take it. Upon getting to payment, the free gift is out of stock. I do not like this business practice, it stinks of deceitful promotion to get you to the basket part of the transaction.

After my purchase, I then received an email promoting the free foot measurer even though they know it's out of stock, and then a "send us feedback" email which I replied to explaining my concerns about their advertising practices to which they said I could have a free foot measurer when they're back in stock.

Not the point I was making, so they basically ignored my feedback and carried on advertising the free foot measurer even though it's out of stock.

Then, they sent me the wrong order. I received the name and address of the actual person that ordered the trainers that were sent to me in the receipt- thankfully card details were not on there. I then called their customer service line and got a message saying they had PURPOSELY closed it due to the high demand of the return to school season.

I mean, who reduces their customer service offer when they get more customers? I emailed with photo evidence and the reply I got was "please can you send photo evidence", so clearly that wasn't read. In the end, my partner found the phone number of a manager on Facebook and called them. They sent out our actual order straight away and we received them the next day.

It shouldn't be like this. Smaller companies who boast about their independent status should be much more customer focused than the chains.

You need to Be Greater.

Bought my son a pair of these shoes for school. Iain was so helpful, warm and friendly as was his wife who I communicated with on Instagram. They have such passion and attention to detail with their shoes. Iain was upfront, honest and knowledgable. The quality of the shoes are amazing, and all for £25 cheaper than a pair from other larger brands that don’t last, aren’t shaped properly and haven’t been so thoughtfully made.

So impressed with shoes. I've been seeing ads for them for ages on my social media and finally decided to go for it as my son needed a new size.
My son has autism and shoe buying can be stressful for us. First I ordered the measurer. I was pleased this was actually accurate. I've previously ordered a measurer from a high street shoe shop but found it pointless as it didn't measurer actually.
So impressed with the shoes. My son immediately loved wearing them which is so so rare for us!! The shoes look and feel great. I love they have a smiley face inside which show my son which foot to put each shoe on.
I'm beyond pleased with these.

So impressed with BGreater shoes… My daughter has had her school shoes for the whole year now, and they still look great! I’ll be ordering the next size up ready for this September for her. Her first pair of school shoes from a different but pricey brand didn’t last a few weeks without scuffs and then a few months later the sole went. This year we’ve been so impressed: BGreater has shown to be far superior with a great durability, design, and that all important wide fit to allow little feet to grow naturally. Highly recommend!!

Amazing shoes ! We find it so hard to find comfortable shoes for our girls one has narrow feet the other two have wide feet and these shoes fit them all comfortably !! The shoes bend with them so no rubbing our girls love them !! The best bit is the smiley face inside them that helps little ones know which shoe goes on which foot our 5 year old always gets her shoes on the wrong feet well not anymore !! I do wish the bigger sizes had the smiley face our little girl has special needs and has the bigger size which don’t have them in and this would really help her too !
Now waiting for the school shoe release the girls have already picked out which ones they want !

Just received my daughters 3rd pair of Alden toddler trainers, shoes arrived 2 days after being ordered, we have absolutely loved using these trainers for my daughter at Nursery, they are so comfy, lightweight and hard wearing, we will continue to use bgreater, I can’t recommend these shoes enough for your little ones

The kindest company I have ever had the privileged to buy from. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes, two arrived with a torn bag from Royal mail and no explanation. I rang be greater and have had my shoes re sent to me, with some chocolates. The trainers are perfect and I'm so pleased. Can't wait for my children to wear them and I definitely will buy again. Keep being wonderful to your customers and selling your amazing bare foot shoes.

I bought a pair of shoes for my daughter in April. Not school shoes so not worn daily. By early-mid June one of the straps cracked and split through one half, leaving it weakened and close to breaking. I wrote to BGrester including careful photos of the fault. They have declined to replace the faulty shoe, despite recognising and stating it as a fault. Instead I have been offered a 20% discount on future purchases. I am really disappointed with this lack of quality and customer service, so won’t be purchasing again. I was prepared to accept this as a one-off, these things happen and it may never happen again. But I can’t afford to keep paying out to find out.

I’m super late to say how much we have loved your shoes for our now 2 year old girl. I’ve spread our love far and wide.

You know the shoes are good, but just as a little cherry on top I walked in for my own podiatrist appointment today and the first thing she did was check out my daughters LEX shoes and write them down to recommend to other podiatrists and friends with kids!

Bought some school shoes for my two boys. Absolutely great shoes. They've had them for a number of months, superb quality and comfy fit. Will be buying more.

Bought both my kids school shoes back in September and we have been so happy with them! My son used to trip a lot and previous shoes have all scuffed within weeks of wearing them, whereas these look great still after 8 months wear - no scuff marks at all! I've also noticed he isn't tripping over now, which I put down to him being able to feel the ground better and flex through his feet more. He has wide feet and the stirling fits him really well.
My daughter has narrow feet, but her Amelia shoe fits her well too and she loves them.
Have just bought them both trainers from Bgreater now too, which they love!
I also contacted customer services when I was unsure about sizing and they were incredibly helpful.

The girl started school back in September, by December we’d gone through 3 pairs of school shoes - in the end I asked her school if she could wear trainers/boots.
She was under the care of a specialist (due to extreme leg, hip & foot pain) who recommended she be ‘as barefoot as possible’ but obviously at school she has to wear shoes…
(It’s also good to point out that he did not recommend insoles for her type of problem)

She’s had her BGreaterShoes for a few terms now and they still look as good as new! Trust me she’s very active in them at school with the climbing frames, park area, sand pit, disco corner, bikes and scooters!
They have just come out of the washing machine as I needed to get the sand grit out of the soles - they survived! I put them in a mesh bag and just stuck them in with a dark load 🙈 (please only do this at your own risk… I can’t promise you won’t damage them, I just took a chance!) but still no scuffs or marks!
And the best thing…
Since wearing these almost every day her pain has significantly subsided AND the specialist was so impressed with her progress we’ve been discharged from their care 🥳

Happy Girlie, no fights in the morning about shoes & pain, sleeps better at night due to decreased foot, leg & hip pain, I’ve actually saved money because I don’t need to keep buying shoes.
I’ve got their foot measure thingy - all I had to do was pay for postage which is fair it was only about £1.25.
I really would LOVE a pay in three option so I could expand her collection but I understand BGreaterShoes are in the early stages of business.
Bottom line, they are amazing, a little expensive BUT well worth it and they are cheaper than other brands.

I found this company whilst looking for school shoes for my primary school aged children. As a barefoot shoe wearer myself, I really liked the idea of shoes that give my kids feet room to grow properly so I ordered a pair. The fit was good, and the quality seemed good too. My kid wore them every day for school and they held up very well indeed, lasting 2 full terms before he outgrew them. To put it into context, the pair of shoes I bought from a very well know high street shoe store, didn't last half a term before they fell apart and needed replacing. These shoes can take some beating! I've recently bought my 11th pair, they're that good. Both my kids have black school shoes and they both have various different coloured trainers. They're reasonably priced, maybe not as cheap as some you can get, but cheaper than a lot out there and they're definitely worth it.

Exceptional customer service from BGreater when faced with a problem due to my error and exacerbated by an unhelpful Royal Mail! Super speedy delivery and the quality of the shoes is unmatched. They are incredibly Barefoot friendly, you can see the shoe moving and flexing with the natural movement of the child's foot. My husband is just jealous they don't do any adults sizes!

I had a great experience with BGreater. I read some negative reviews on here before hand but decided to try them anyway and I’m so glad I did!!

Order confirmation was fast (as was delivery), also received an email to let me know that my shipping and billing address were different and I could fix this before the shoes were sent out which I’ve never had from another company, but was a nice touch to save my shoes potentially being sent to an old address.

The shoes themselves are absolutely perfect! My 15 month old son is difficult to buy shoes for as he has wide feet and a high bridge so finding shoes that don’t squish his toes, that I can shut easily and are comfortable for him seems to be a challenge but these shoes fit great!! I love that they are barefoot shoes but are also smart and he can wear them everyday!

He’s a UK 3-4 so I ordered him a 4i and they’re perfect.

The shoes are great quality. I will be buying more from them!
