Asset Auctions are incompetent, Nigel tells more lies than Tom Pepper and will gladly lead you down the garden path for weeks. Items are not as described so it looks like you're getting a bargain until you realise the item will need serious investment to be anywhere near useable. It's a wonder the council haven't revoked auction licensing and they haven't been removed from bidspotter. Just look at the previous reviews!!

I used bidspotter purchased item from supreme auctions product was sold like that it was smashed if this had been in the description when I was bidding on it I would not of bid on it stay away from these sites they are selling crap and getting away with it

Bought a car and half the parts were missing and the engine was completely broken.

Bought a car from asset auction they described the car with fsh and 24 inch wheels and 2 keys I paid £119500 for the Bentley bentayga when it arrived only had 1 key and 22inch wheels and not one bit of service history totally mis represented now they won’t talk to me so left me to take them to court avoid these people

I have bought few items from an online auction through Bidspotters and at the close of auction there are another 5 ityems added which i never bid on. Ive contacted the aution and been advised to contact Bidspotter. Spent hours tyring to sort this matter and noi one can help, all I get from Bidspotter that I have bid on these items. I have asked for a complainr process or a details of governing body but all I get from Bidspotter is a template email which doesnt answer any of my question. I had to pick up the items and pay over £200 and just cant do anythinhg about it. Socking service and no customer service help at all.

Brilliant at sending invoice and taking payment, customer service ends there. I purchased a van through Asset that they advertised with V5 green slip, not so now got to wait at least 6 weeks for one from DVLA.
LIars and no help, AVOID !!!!!!

Bidspotter is a fantastic website.

The website is easy to navigate and easy to use. They are also very responsive should you have any questions or need any help.

Falsely advertised a product as stated delivery available. Turned out delivery was not available and the auction company were completely unwilling to help out having done everything to try and arrange delivery.

Avoid. They sell for scammers who take your money (as do Bidspotter in their commission) when they don't have the goods- Haddon & James. I dread to think how many people were scammed - their stock was enormous

Asset auctions did not have possession of the vehicle they had sold me and the manager had still not refunded my payment after 13 days. Ive also just read numerous poor reviews about this company yet bid spotter still allow them to trade on their site. Steer clear of this shyster. auctioneer has now refunded me and blocked me from bidding on their site..

Bid Spotter will let anyone auction on there site regardless of who they are. Having just been caught up in a scam and lost my money with an auction site that have been on their site for the last 6 months selling Garden Furniture. Looking at the feedback, BidSpotter knew the issues with this company bet let them use their site regardless. Beware that using BidSpotter will not guarantee anything other than losing your money and no help/recourse from them

Not for pussy cats..research your items,study blurb and photos,watch out for additional costs and transport then take your chances..try to stick to auctions where you can see the stuff insitu in its working environment..not monthly auctions..always check cars on hpi (as they don't)...most auctioneers ok to deal with...good luck

The customer service was rude and the staff were disrespectful . Disappointed with the item and my experience with the company in general
