Poor Communication, Long Delays, Wrong YETI Sent
We began working with BirdieBox in early June and were excited about a client gifting project. Initially, things seemed promising. They sent us a sample YETI stackable tumbler, which we approved, requesting only a color change to navy blue. Throughout our conversations, I repeatedly referenced the exact sample they had sent, and the representative confirmed multiple times that we would receive that same tumbler style.
Unfortunately, the process quickly became frustrating. Communication was slow, and I had to ask for pricing several times before receiving it. Once we decided to move forward, it took over a week and multiple follow-ups just to receive an invoice. The entire project took much longer than expected, with all gifts finally being delivered around July 28.
To make matters worse, when the gifts arrived, BirdieBox had sent a completely different YETI tumbler style than the one we approved. They claimed they had emailed me about the change, but I never received any such email and never approved a product substitution.
Another challenge was that their listed phone number was essentially unusable. Calls consistently went to voicemail, leaving email as the only way to communicate, which only added to the delays and frustration.
When we raised our concerns, BirdieBox refused to offer a refund and instead provided only a 15% discount on a future purchase. Between the delays, poor communication, inability to reach anyone by phone, and receiving a different product than what was approved, this experience fell far short of expectations.
