Expensive to return, sizing off, not as well made as older model flats
Not sure if this is for Blochworld USA. I purchased a ballet flat that looked similar to Bloch flats I bought several years ago. Can only pay by credit card, no Paypal or other service available. Arrived in a week or so, reasonable, but it is smaller than the other Bloch flats I have. Wrote company and was informed there is no exchange or paid return service. Not very friendly in email. I tried 3 different ways to package per postal instructions and still ended up sending by USPS for $14.90. If Bloch offered return shipping, even if customer paid, Bloch could still offer a lower return ship rate due to bulk deal with post office. Very disappointed in this entire experience. Wrote several times and customer service not helpful in the list. Shoes not only not sized propertly but not as well made as in past. Old flats had leather soles, these have synthetic. Not as cute or comfortable either.
Wonderful product, terrible service
Wonderful product, TERRIBLE customer service. As they have SUCH a terrible reputation and policy for returns, I wanted to be sure I ordered the right size. They were unable or unwilling to answer the most basic question (are the posted shoe sizes bloch sizing or Australian sizing), sent me a dead link that even had it been live (I searched it myself) was not helpful, and did not even bother responding to a follow up email.
I wish Jason Samuels Smith designed shoes with another manufacturer, lol.

If you live outside Australia they have a different return policy. They will not take returns/exchanges from international orders. I accidentally orders the wrong size and they couldn’t accommodate me. They told me to sell them on eBay to get my money back. I have been a customer of there’s for 20 years I find that pretty insulting.

Worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time. Just shocking. I purchased a new pair of trainers last week, which I tried on in the store, paid for it walked to my car just to realise I should have bought another colour. So I returned after 5 minutes and bought the same size in a different colour.
When I got home I put them on and the shoe as very tight. I immediately called the store and was told that there was a faulty batch and they thought all those shoes were no longer in their stock. They reassured me that the design I chose is one which does not stretch and they have ordered the same size from their warehouse (NOT faulty batch). Once I got the call they arrived I went back just to be spoken to in a very condescending manner by a sales assistant, telling me the shoe stretches and they never had any faulty batches, making me look like a liar. Please can you make sure your staff know what they are selling and please teach them the rule that the customer is always right…. Especially when they are given instructions by your own colleague. From now on I shall support individual business, where the staff is knowledgeable of the items they sell!!
Missing Item from order
Ordered over £100 worth of dance items including a bag which wasn't delivered. I have emailed Bloch three times and not had a response. This is really poor customer service. This bag is needed and I cannot afford to be out of pocket due to a mistake made in dispatching my order. I buy all my daughters dancewear from Bloch so to have this happen is very dissapointing!

I received wrong size and now I am waiting for a refund 1,5 Months. They ignore all messages! I would not receive my money back. In addition, I paid return costs- 7 Euro.
Trouble with returns
I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. I recently bought some items in the sale. I have returned three items as they didn't fit well and weren't great quality. Two items were briefly tried on, one wasn't. Bloch are now stating that the items are stained and unsellable so they are unable to refund. Looking through these reviews, it seems this happens frequently. Be very careful when purchasing from this company as their customer service and refund policy seems to be non-existent. I also paid full tracking to return so i am well out of pocket.
As an add on: items have now been returned to me - absolutely nothing wrong with them. One pair weren't even tried on, plus no marks. Unhappy.

I purchased a pair of Boost Mesh Split Sole Dance Sneakers before the pandemic. Needless to say, they were barely used for 3 years. Now that dance has started again, the shoes are falling apart on sole sections.
I contacted the company and their response was “Shoes with polyurethane soles will only last 4-5 years before falling apart, even if used or not”
This is totally unacceptable because they pride themselves with craftsmanship.
I will not purchase any of their products again.

I order size 6 woman’s tap shoes. They arrived 2 weeks later a size 8! I tired to send them back with the instructions that came in the box but kept coming back from the post man with no address available.
I’m on a student uni wage and start my second year on dance uni in September now I’m trying to find something to put in them so they fit.
Will next buy online again!
Careful- Returns Process Dishonest
Be extremely cautious buying from this firm - don’t trust them with returns - count your money as lost. ⚠️ you have no means of raising a dispute or grievance since they’ve cut their phone lines and are only available across an obstructive e-mail wall located abroad.
Strongly advise any customer checks out the other reviews on Blochworld here on TrustPilot - from other customers also ripped off by this dishonest bunch. What’s the scam? - they falsely claim the unused products are which you return exactly how you received them are in an unacceptable used state and ineligible for returns. No comeback, no discussion, just rip you off. Don’t expect to get your money back from a return*.

I made a mistake ordering through this company. I’m new to ballet and wasn’t sure with sizing. I did send a question to them and was told to try a nearest Bloch store which is in Brisbane and 4-5 hours drive away from me.
I ordered my gear and under garment. Once received I found out the size was small for me.
So I requested to get an exchange for next size up. Still had tags on. They refused to do anything so I’m stuck with something that’s too small.
I will not order anything from them again.

OMG - do not use this service. DO NOT USE. They have a mad system where you have to order 2 sizes too small to get the Bloch size you want. But the size conversion chart says 3 sizes too small ...
There's no phone number to call. No way of speaking to anybody about their crazy size system in order to be able to rectify the mistakes they say you, the customer, has made (in their email). Ask someone from Bloch to call you (in email reply) and they won't. They just disappear with your money forever. Dreadful. DREADFUL service. I've never experienced such bad service from anywhere ever before.

I ordered on Friday a white Leo for a costume and I paid $35 for next day air shipping. I still haven’t received my order at the end of Monday. Apparently, in tiny print at “the bottom” of the page they don’t work on Saturday or Sunday. Why offer the next day air shipping then? At no point in placing my order was this shown to me during the checkout process. I will not be using this company.

Sent several emails, filled out the online contact form and even messaged them on Facebook and I’ve had no response over the last few weeks.

Wrong Size no Response to Emails
I order a size 7 pair of ultra flex jazz shoes. A size 9.5 was delievered. Emailed Bloch 4 times, no response after 2 weeks.
Return label does not include postage. If I return will I even get a refund?

I purchased a crop top from Bloch and it arrived with makeup and dirt stains. I regret not taking a picture at the start as when I returned it - they said they wouldn't refund me because it was an unusable condition.
I didn't have proof of the condition I received it in so I'd highly recommend taking a picture at the start in the likely event they do it again. I sent them proof that my skin colour is VERY different to the foundation colour on the garment yet they still refused to refund me.
They claim they sent it from their warehouse and that it hadn't been previously returned by a customer. They've obviously refunded a previous customer that returned the stained garment, then passed it on to the next, unsuspecting customer - which happened to be me. That way they still make a profit knowing that customers aren't diligent enough to take photos of items on arrival and it's easy enough for them to argue their case.
Would not recommend. Staff obviously lack empathy and I hope that if they ever find themselves in a similar frustrating position to myself, they'll finally be able to understand how I feel.
Item was also poorly made and not worth the $79.95 price tag.
Bloch Store near Town Hall
I was at Bloch at Town Hall today (on the 02.12.21 at around 3:30pm) and the guy who was supposedly "serving" me asked me to do the usual protocol i.e. sign in, show him my vaccination... I did everything he asked of me... except when he asked me to put on a mask, i told him i did not have a mask at the time... he goes and mutters to himself then goes to the desk and pulls out a mask which the lady from the front desk was holding, with his bare hands and expects me to wear it... does he not know that a relatively high percentage of germs is spread through touch... and he wants me to put it near my mouth... ??? or is "appearing" to look like they are actually trying to do something just part of their show?... honestly sometimes i just wish there was more common sense in the world...
