Blue Zone Pets produceert hoogwaardige, minimaal bewerkte hondenvoeding met als doel honden een zo lang en gezond mogelijk leven te bieden. De naam en filosofie zijn geïnspireerd op de "Blue Zones", gebieden in de wereld waar mensen en dieren aantoonbaar langer leven. Forever Food, positioneert zich als het gezonde alternatief voor standaard (ultrabewerkte) hondenbrokken. De belangrijkste kenmerken zijn: Samenstelling: De voeding bestaat voor 80% uit écht vlees (zoals spiervlees, lever en hart) en voor 20% uit superfoods (o.a. wortel, pompoen, spirulina en kelp). Het bevat geen vulstoffen, granen of kunstmatige toevoegingen. Bereidingswijze: In plaats van extrusie (verhitting onder hoge druk en temperatuur), wordt de voeding langzaam luchtgedroogd onder de 40°C. Hierdoor blijven essentiële voedingsstoffen en smaak beter behouden. Gemak & Gezondheid: Het combineert de gezondheidsvoordelen van rauw voeren (KVV/BARF) met het gemak van brokken. Het product is houdbaar buiten de koelkast en wordt voor het serveren simpelweg aangemengd met warm water.

German boxer and Blue Zone
Before Blue Zone we fed our boxer with BARF. That was too much hustle. We switched to Blue Zone, and he loves the food. Preparation and serving is much easier. Reason why we first switched from kibble to BARF was well... notorious boxer gases. With Blue Zone Maui has no gases or any other digestive problems and he is developing nicely.
Customer service is the best! Really helpful and personal.

Dodgy subscription practises. Don't order trial pack they will automatically sign you up
Only ordered a trial packet to see if my dog would eat it turns out she won't. They then sent me a subscription that I never agreed to and deducted over 70 from my account absolutely disgusting practise. No way to cancel the order! no way to contact them absolutely disgraceful.

Just to clarify, the trial transition box is an introduction to Forever Food, designed to help make the switch gradually 🐶 During checkout, a follow-up membership for the full feeding plan is shown and started to continue your dog’s food supply. Before each upcoming delivery, a reminder email is sent 3 days in advance where you can pause, adjust, or cancel - it’s possible this email was missed.
We’ve already reached out directly to help resolve this for you, including the shipment you don’t wish to receive. If needed, we can assist with the return process.
Regarding your dog not eating the food: this is actually quite common during the first week. Often it’s not the taste but the speed of the transition that causes dogs to hesitate. We’ve shared some tips with you and would be happy to help find the best way forward.
We also want to clarify that our support team is available through our website via chat and email, and we’re always happy to assist. 💙
Proefpakket
Ook ik heb een proefpakket voor 9 dagen gekocht. Blijkt dat dit geen proefpakket is want er hangt onmiddellijk een duur abonnement aan vast. Op 6 juni geef ik door dat mijn hond deze voeding weigert en daar wordt over gecommuniceerd. Op 7 juni annuleer ik alles en blokkeer ik de betaling die Blue zone automatisch heeft aangemaakt. Ondertussen zijn er 4 mails heen en weer gestuurd en vind ik op 10 juni een pakket aan mijn voordeur die daar gedropt is. Retourbeleid: een flop! De doos is bij mij gedropt, dus kom ze zelf maar ophalen. Nu zou ik hier kilometers moeten voor gaan rijden naar een Gls- of ander depot. Kosten krijg ik niet te zien. Dit is een bedrijf net zoals hun concullega's, allesbehalve diervriendelijk, alleen groot geld verdienen en vele, mooie praatjes verkondigen. 4 mails en altijd dezelfde flauwekul. Begrijpend lezen is duidelijk niet aan de orde.
En u hoeft bijgevolg niet te reageren, met alweer dezelfde mooie verhaaltjes, want dat is het enige wat kan.

Bedankt voor je bericht. Het spijt ons oprecht te horen dat je deze ervaring zo frustrerend vond.
We begrijpen dat het erg vervelend is als een proefpakket niet aan je verwachtingen voldoet en er onduidelijkheid bestaat over een vervolgbestelling en de levering. Dat is natuurlijk niet de ervaring die we je willen bieden.
Wanneer een proefbestelling wordt geplaatst, wordt er inderdaad automatisch een vervolgschema aangemaakt, zodat klanten niet zonder eten komen te zitten. We begrijpen echter heel goed dat dit niet voor iedereen duidelijk is, en we nemen je feedback hierover serieus.
Wat betreft de levering: zodra een pakket is verzonden en bij de vervoerder (GLS) is, hebben we helaas geen controle meer over waar het precies wordt afgeleverd of hoe dit wordt afgehandeld.
Het spijt ons dat het zo is gelopen en we zullen rekening houden met uw opmerkingen om onze communicatie verder te verbeteren.
Our pup loves it!
We recently switched our pup to Blue Zone pet food, and she loves it, so far we have seen a great improvement in her appetite and she seems to really enjoy it. I would highly recommend this as a manageable inbetween fresh food and dry pellets. The team is also very easy to contact and helpful with any queries on the order and the food.

My dogs love it
My dogs love it. One suffered from hot spots and was licking her paws and belly a lot. It is easy to prepare. The only down side is the smell! The chicken doesn't smell as much.

And yes… we hear you on the smell 😄 Natural food without heavy processing can sometimes be a bit stronger in aroma, especially the beef. Chicken is usually the milder option, so that makes sense!

Het was “eens proberen”… het blijft!
Ik wou mijn rescue hondje een rauw dieet aanbieden want mijn vorige hond kreeg vers vlees en hield er enorm van. Lizzie uit Roemenië liever niet… dan maar op zoek naar andere gezonde voeding. Na 6 maanden zoeken en uit proberen was Lizzie gewoon geworden aan haar dagelijks vers gekookte kip met groentjes. Eén beetje duur en veel afwas. Toen kwam er een advertentie te voorschijn (ZE weten alles! 😉) voor Forever Food en ik dacht: ik probeer nog maar eens iets anders. Lizzie-Lou was enthousiast van het ogenblik dat ik de zak open maakte en is zonder transitie periode zo over gestapt op haar nieuwe voeding. Ze krijgt nog altijd haar groentjes (die eet ze eerst) maar nu met Forever Food en iedereen is blij. Lizzie houdt ervan, Lizzie haar ontlasting ziet er gezond uit (vreemd genoeg, zoals die van een rauw gevoerde hond) en ik heb minder afwas! Score 🤙🏻

We vinden het fantastisch om te horen dat Lizzie-Lou zo enthousiast was vanaf het moment dat de zak open ging. Zeker na zes maanden zoeken naar een gezonde voeding die écht bij haar past, moet dat een fijne verrassing zijn geweest.
Het is ook mooi om te horen dat ze nog steeds van haar groentjes geniet én dat haar ontlasting er gezond uitziet. Veel baasjes merken inderdaad vergelijkbare veranderingen wanneer ze overstappen op voeding met hoogwaardige ingrediënten en minimale verwerking.
En laten we eerlijk zijn: een blije hond én minder afwas klinkt als een win-win situatie! 😄
Geef Lizzie-Lou een dikke knuffel van ons en bedankt dat Forever Food een plekje in haar dagelijkse routine heeft gekregen.

Wij zijn heel tevreden en onze labradoodle doet het heel goed op jullie voer. Wij begonnen met KVV uit de vriezer maar vinden dat veel gedoe, dit is een stuk makkelijker.

Wat fijn om te lezen! Veel KVV-baasjes herkennen dat verhaal: kwaliteit wil je niet inleveren, maar dat constante ontdooien, schoonmaken en planning is best een gedoe. Mooi dat jullie labradoodle Forever Food zo goed oppakt dan heb je de voedingswaarde van vers, met het gemak van een zak uit de kast. Goed in communicatie en service. Alleen heb ik nog problemen met het voederen van mijn hond. De 1ste keerwas ok, de 2de keer al wat minder en de 3de keer trok hij zijn neus op en heb ik het moeten weggooien. Jammer want is heel handig in het maken. Maar ik geef niet op, deze avond zet ik het terug voor zijn neus...

Bedankt voor je eerlijke review en het mooie compliment over onze service! Jammer dat het bij je hond nog niet helemaal vlot loopt, gelukkig is dat op te lossen. Vaak helpt het al om een beetje ongezouten bouillon door het voer te mengen, zodat er meer aroma vrijkomt. Ook handig: voer op een vast tijdstip, laat de bak 15-20 minuten staan en haal hem daarna weg. Zo leert je hond dat dít het enige eet moment is.

Goed voer voor je trouwe viervoeter
Sinds kort overgestapt van rauw voer naar het voer van blue zone. Geen gedoe meer en makkelijk mee te nemen op vakantie. Mijn hond is een moeilijke eter maar vindt dit heerlijk. Service is ook erg fijn

Wat tof om te horen! Van rauw naar Forever Food is voor veel baasjes dé sweet spot: alle goede dingen van vers, zonder het gedoe. En dat een moeilijke eter er met smaak doorheen gaat? Dat is super om te horen. Fijne vakantie alvast! 💙

Onze ruwhaar teckel Zus is een heel kieskeurige eter. Dus voor de zoveelste keer ander voer besteld! En tot nu de beste keuze sinds 3 jaar. Ze komt zelf haar mand uit om te eten!
