My expectations have been drowned. Walking back along the riverside in Kingston in a light drizzle. A gust of wind has blown my Blunt Sport inside out. I can't believe that this has snapped two of it's main spars. Now unusable. Definitely not what was promised. How could you claim that it can withstand upto 70mph?

I am updating this review. Even though delivery took longer than expected, the umbrella is great and stands up to wind really well. Also there I did experience good customer service in the end.

After some initial delay receiving the umbrella, the Blunt team was exceptionally professional and kind in rectifying the problem and assisting on an exchange. The umbrella is great and I would highly recommend buying directly from this company. The customer service is wonderful.

My experience is not over yet, but I made a purchase on Saturday. Today is Tuesday evening. I still don’t know when I will receive my “free next business day delivery” and have no tracking number. Doesn’t look as a good service.

As a treat (and marketing tool!) for our staff who have given their all - these past couple of years, especially - it was decided to gift them all to a Blunt umbrella. In the run up to purchasing with Blunt we looked at several examples but were continually disappointed at the lack of quality, so then, in line with our developing ethical policy, we looked at the Buy Me Once website. When Buy Me Once realised the quantity that we were looking for they immediately put us in touch with 'Bid' at Blunt Umbrellas UK (they are a NZ design but produced in the UK for the UK market) and I cannot speak highly enough about the help and service provided by Bid and the company from that point forth.

The discussion re our requirements, the delivery weeks before promised, and the ultimate quality of the umbrellas and packaging surpassed all expectation. On the face of it these may seem expensive, but once you get to see and feel the quality in your hands you know they are worth every penny!

Our 'marketing' umbrellas will still be looking wonderful and stylish years after others have hit the scrapheap and, most importantly, our staff are over the moon with the gift of such a quality product.

Would I buy them again. Yes.

Would I spend the money on one for myself now that I have seen and used them. Definitely!

Awesome design, awesome umbrella. Never thought I’d be looking at the weather report hoping for rain. Strong and very wind resistant, despite strong winds this umbrella has not collapsed or turned inside out. Keep up the great work.

I have one of these umbrella’s already and I have just bought another for a gift. Superb quality and I like the fact they can be repaired if needed.

Very professional operation. Package arrived in good time, beautifully wrapped in a traditional looking brown paper. It felt like I was opening something special. Very friendly customer services.
