These are notable fraudster that has defrauded a lot of people for years now. Their operation has expanded, the same fraudster - Robert Keenan, Andreea Stan, Michelle Adams, Chris Walker, Fiona B, Hazel Scalette, Oliver david johnson, michelle.brown – have now set up another operation and named themselves: The Empire Publishers.

The operation is still then same, they are out to bill authors for publishing that will never be delivered, then they return to ask for more money for copyright, and marketing. Then there will be delays, new persons will be turn up and take over their scam until they stop responding.

These persons are behind defrauding several persons their money with a promise to publish their work. They both run a enterprise called: Book Writing Founders (BWF) that defrauded me of my money as far back as 2023. They both played a scheme that not only defrauded me but went ahead to request for more money. This fraudster: Robert Keenan has blocked me in LinkedIn pretending that he can hide, run away and keep my money. This will never happen. To the entire public: these thieves, the connive with with Indian's and Pakistani men and women to act like publisher whereas they are thieves.

In August 2023, I paid USD 5,596.36 for publishing services relating to my manuscript. Following payment, I experienced repeated delays, requests for additional funds, and a failure to deliver the contracted publishing services.

To date i have not received my money back and nothing has been delivered. These people think they have won but they are in for a shocker. If you want to join the legal and investigation team to apprehend these thieves, reach out to me. Their websites are still live, and they are on LinkedIn presenting themselves are honest professionals. When they know they are fraudster. I call on the public to look into this matter and all those that have claim should call out: The Empire Publishers and its principal fraudster: Robert Keenan and Andreea Stan.

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Book Writing Founders has been so concerning that I feel a responsibility to share it for the benefit of others.

When I first engaged BWF, I was genuinely hopeful. The early conversations were positive and suggested a level of professionalism that would support my book well. Unfortunately, what followed across several months was the opposite. Communication became sporadic, inconsistent and eventually almost non-existent. Emails to multiple contacts, including Oliver and Andreea, went unanswered for extended periods. There was no clear escalation route and no ownership of the issues I was raising.

Throughout this time I was left without basic information that any author should expect. I did not receive the final proof draft. The revised cover mockups failed to materialise. Questions about printing specifications, paper weights, and card stock went unanswered. I had no clarity on timelines, release plans or distribution. At every stage I felt I was chasing updates that should have been routine.

I was also concerned by the lack of a secure process for submitting essential publishing documents. I had no option but to email sensitive forms and could only hope that appropriate data protection measures were in place. This is not a risk an author should have to take.

Publishing relies on trust. It relies on clear communication, transparency and a sense that your work is being handled with care. Over these months, those foundations were simply not present. The silence, the delays and the absence of accountability made the entire experience stressful and deeply disappointing.

I am sharing this so that others can make a fully informed decision. If you are considering Book Writing Founders, I would strongly recommend taking time to research thoroughly and proceed with caution. My experience raises serious concerns about their reliability and their approach to professional standards.

IT IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. THEY WANT THOUSANDS OF POUNDS UPFRONT EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS AN OFFER AT A DISCOUNT. FOR UK WRITERS JOIN THE SOCIETY OF AUTHORS IF YOU CAN WHO WILL CHECK YOUR CONTRACT. THIS LOOKS GOOD ON PAPER BUT IS WORTHLESS. MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE A RECEIPT FOR THE MONEY SENT. I NEVER HAD ONE.

THE GUYS YOU WILL WORK WITH ARE SUPER POLITE BUT IT'S ALL A FRONT. I DID RECEIVE VERY MINIMAL EDITING DURING A WHOLE YEAR - RATHER SLOW, NOT DETAILED AND AMERICAN VOCABULARY USED, OUT OF PLACE IN BRITISH WORKS.

AFTER THIS I WAS THEN ASKED FOR £5000 MORE TO HAVE A PUBLICITY/MARKETING SCHEME. THE POWERPOINT LOOKED FANTASTIC BUT AGAIN WAS PROBABLY WORTH NOTHING.

I WAS THEN ASKED FOR ANOTHER £2000 TO ATTEND THE LONDON BOOK FAIR WHERE I WOULD GET A STAND ETC TO BE ABLE TO SELL MY BOOKS. I NEVER RECEIVED A COPY OF MY BOOK IN THE END, NOR DOES THE LONDON BOOK FAIR SET ITSELF UP FOR AUTHORS TO SELL THEIR BOOKS - ANOTHER CON.

Beware of this very amature group. I would have given them minus - 5 stars if I could have -- connecting with them was one of my worst mistake. I will follow up with details of my terrible experience if they don't remove the messed up copy of my book they put on Amazon. Back with details soon.

I wasted a year and a half of my time with Book Writing Founders. I never got a proper book. The illustrations didn’t match the story on many of the pages. Some of the pages were illegible. They refused to refund my money. They blame their errors on everyone else including Amazon. They don’t take accountability, but they are very quick to take your money. Beware of any company that does not use their real names and gives false locations from where they are doing business from.

The biggest mistake I've made in my authoring career was partnering with Book Writing Founders. I couldn't agree more with the other negative reviews on this site. From my experience with this organization, I'd classify them as fraudsters. After six months signing an agreement, they've delivered 10% of what they promised and their work quality is less than poor. I've asked to negotiate a refund and my request has been met with, no surprise, silence. Don't trust these people. I regret that I did.

DOWN RIGHT TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

This experience with BWF has been an absolute nightmare! Seven months down the line, and my book, which was promised to be ready in three months, is still stuck in the never-ending editing process.

I've been bombarded with empty promises through countless phone calls and emails, yet nothing ever materializes.

I ASKED many times for a cover. And what did I get? A measly first draft TWO WEEKS AGO, with no follow-up since!

They've even had the audacity to peddle me additional packages, one of which contained a marketing strategy already included in the exorbitantly priced bundle I initially purchased. And then, just a MONTH after submitting my first manuscript, they had the gall to dangle another contract for my second book. It's beyond infuriating—it's daylight robbery!

Not only that, but they also don't pick up when I call and when I email, I don't get a response back. Monday (12th) I wrote an email that I wanted to call about the process. I asked if I could call Tuesday at 11 CET, they never responded. I tried to call THEM, and each time, no one picks up. Today (16th) I wrote that I wanted an update and once again, no one answered my email.

Their communication is abysmal; they conveniently disappear when I reach out, leaving me hanging with no updates.

I've had it with their empty promises and lack of accountability. I will never, under any circumstance, entertain the idea of signing another contract with these deceitful people. To anyone considering a deal with BWF:

DO NOT—I repeat—DO NOT ENTANGLE YOURSELF IN A CONTRACT WITH THESE FRAUDSTERS! THEY'RE NOTHING BUT THIEVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING, PROMISING THE WORLD AND DELIVERING NOTHING!!!
