I can’t recommend Boom Driving School, and especially Chris, highly enough. I passed my driving test on the first attempt in Banbury, which honestly felt like a huge achievement after failing 2 times in London test centres before.

I learned to drive in the US and found adjusting to driving in the UK really daunting. Chris was incredibly patient, calm, and clear in his teaching, and he completely rebuilt my confidence. He explained things in a way that finally clicked for me, especially UK-specific rules, test expectations, and tricky manoeuvres.

Chris tailored lessons to exactly what I needed, was fantastic at calming nerves, and made sure I felt genuinely test ready. Switching to Banbury and learning with him made all the difference!

If you’re an experienced driver from abroad, nervous, or have struggled with tests before, I genuinely couldn’t recommend Chris more. Thank you for helping me finally pass!!

Took over £100,000 from his creditors knowing his business was going bust. These people WILL NOT see their money again. So be cautious when you book with this company. You will see many similar reviews all with replied from Neil claiming to be a different company. The statutory information on his Directors Report - SIP 6 will clearly state it is an associated company. He will lie to his former customers. Lie on his reviews. Just think about how else he can lie to you.

I’m incredibly grateful to my driving instructor, Nisha, for helping me pass my driving test on my very first attempt! From day one, she was patient, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Nisha has a great way of explaining things clearly and calmly, which really helped build my confidence on the road. Her attention to detail and focus on safe driving made every lesson valuable and enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor – highly recommended to anyone looking to learn driving the right way!

I recently completed the Boom ADI Part 2 course, and I was thoroughly impressed by how well it aligns with The Official DVSA Guide to Driving – The Essential Skills (DES). The training is structured in a way that ensures every key principle from DES is integrated, making it highly relevant to professional driving standards.

A major strength of this course is its balance between detailed information and structured self-reflection. Preparing for the ADI test can be overwhelming, but this course breaks down concepts in a logical and manageable way, ensuring a clear link to DVSA’s essential driving skills. The support is available when needed, but the course also encourages independent learning and critical thinking, helping you develop the confidence required to succeed.

Thanks to this structured approach, I passed my Part 2 test, and I’m now progressing to the Part 3 training videos. If you’re looking for a training program that provides clarity, structure, and alignment with DVSA standards, Boom ADI Part 2 is an excellent choice!

Learned with Lucie. She was extremely patient and helpful, while also being constructive and showing me what I did wrong and how to fix it. I passed first time with only 2 minors, so it’s safe to say she is doing something right.

Totally Inflexible!

Unless you can take time off work in the day this Company are quite frankly useless.

They don't offer evening appointments and are closed on a weekend.

I have never ever come across this before so unless your a student don't go near!

They should be upfront on their website making it clear that you are expected to take time out of your working week.

Boom Driving School really help prepare for the practical driving test. My instructor, Alex, helped me learn how to: operate the vehicle, negotiate other road users and helped me feel more confident when driving. BDS is very thorough and will make sure that learn good habits to help you, not only pass the test, but be a confident driver. As a result of all of this I passed first time and would absolutely recommend their instructors for learning how to drive.

Manuela is the best driving instructor I’ve ever had. She is very patient and fair.

I started having lessons with Manuela after having a bad experience with my previous instructor. As we just started our lessons over a month before I had my test book I was amazed how quickly she boosted my confidence! She was using the best techniques that allow me to be prepared for my test 100%! She is patient and calm. Answering to all questions that you have ! I passed today with 1 minor. Can’t be more grateful that I chose her as my instructor. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Manuela’s support and guidance!

My instructor was Lucie and she was great! I had a different instructor for a little bit before with a different company who ended up making me quite nervous, and then Lucie was brilliant and encouraing. I passed first time!
