All staff were courteous and helpful. Everything was explained well and I was made to feel like a valued customer.

A very good experience; all the in depth tests requested by my doctor were explained to me. From start to finish I was put at ease, and treated with respect and consideration. Thank you to Catherine, Ayra, and Mercy.

Nothing wrong with the service in store it is the harassment afterwards when an eye test is due and this now has been happening for six months. This is not simply a reminder it is constant contact through calling me (I block the numbers but then they call on a different number), emails and now what’s app (I blocked them yesterday but they have managed to get round that and are contacting me again today). Plenty of good opticians out there who don’t behave like this. Boots, the more you harass me the more determined I am not to go back to you.

The staff in this store were really helpful and polite. They did a proper eye test and scan of my retina, and made sure that everything was clean and sterile.
They were honest and professional and treated me with dignity and respect.

Aqib explained all the results of my eye test to me clearly which I really appreciated.

The optician, Shah, was absolutely wonderful. He put my mind at rest regarding a sight problem that had been niggling me for a while, and explained everything in clear terms.
I've nothing but praise for the staff too. Anthony in particular was very patient and helped me to eventually select two pairs of glasses. I didn't feel at all rushed, he really seemed to want to help me make the perfect decision. There are so many frames to choose from, it's very tricky!
I'll be recommending this branch to local friends.

I've recently been having problems with an RGP contact lens, and the team couldn't have done more to help me. They were incredibly patient, understanding and determined to make sure everything was sorted.
It's lovely to receive such genuine care and excellent customer service. I really can't praise them enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this branch.

I am always looked after so well at Boots Opticians in Stroud, yesterday by Leanne and Jayne. Warm, friendly and professional. Going the extra mile for my eyes, and so that I may continue enjoying reading and writing for pleasure. Good selection of frames to choose from...I'm coming away with 3 different tortoiseshell frames (I'm seeing a theme here!). Referral into Ophthalmology done very speedily too. Exceptional service from the Eltham Boots Opticians team! My son found it challenging to try to wear contact lenses for the first time. Adam was thoroughly patient and expertly guided my son through the process so that he was confident putting the lenses in by himself. This took time over a couple of appointment days where Adam gave him support but also space at the right times. Thanks to Adam and the team, my son is now happily on the contact lens scheme so he can wear contacts for playing his sport. Thank you Adam and the rest of the Eltham Boots Opticians for taking such good care of my son, and for their skill and patience when things are not so straightforward.

I have been using Boots opticians in Chesterfield for years now and their service and professionalism is 2nd to none. I always feel relaxed when I need to visit. From start to finish I feel valued and most important to me, listened to. Whether it's a sight test or a concern I have with my eyesight, they listen. After my recent visit with Hassan for my sight test and Steve for my exploration into contact lenses I feel I have been given the best advice I could wish to have, with no pressure to sign up to contracts. At 64 I have age related issues.... problem??? Nope. Steve was amazing. He explained my options in full, in plain English and even drew diagrams when I asked a related question. I feel that the whole team genuinely care about how I feel and my concerns. Hats off to the whole team, I value their friendliness, help, advice and knowledge. Thankyou.

The older lady contact lens optician with reddish short hair was a very terrible and racist optician. Not only was she extremely rude and racist, she clearly didn’t know what she was doing. How do people like this get jobs, while people that actually need the jobs and will perform way better jobs are still out here searching for. I had to continue correcting her and educating her about my particular situation. Thank goodness I had prior knowledge regarding my eyes concern. She kept rushing me and interrupting me when I tried to explain my concerns. She barely performed the complete eye test and then gave me trails lens after much deliberation and literally tried to take them back from me. Boots optician Cheapside, why is someone like this working as a clinican and rendering service to people. Extremely questionable practice

Easy booking, short wait to get the test underway, super friendly professional staff, perfect…Good selection of specs with a varied price range, even the cheapest appear really good quality. Highly recommended.
