Excellent Service

This review is about the customer service as my specs have yet to come. Brenda and Liz were very helpful and incredibly patient when I was choosing my new prescription sunglasses and Cain was equally helpful answering my questions. Excellent service.

Excellent customer focused service from Basia at the Trinity Leeds store.

I've had a few very negative issues with my new contact lens reward scheme. I don't want to go into any detail really, however, I was close to cancelling the agreement, but, after speaking with Basia at the Trinity Leeds store I feel I got to speak with a genuine helpful person that has hopefully managed to resolve the issues and put my faith in Boots opticians again. Big up Basia, I'm grateful you took the call.

The team at boots in Lymington are…

The team at boots in Lymington are brilliant my first eye test with them in years. First I was seen by Harrison very thorough and explained everything he was doing. Second I saw Beth also every thorough and explained everything. And thirdly I was passed over to the lovely lvett who took the time to explain about the lenses and gave an honest opinion on my fames( and I will still look like Dumbledore😂 ). and to top it off I had Dan do a final checks so all in all the staff are lovely and very good at their jobs and they don’t try and push you into making a decision straightaway 10/10

The service at Boots Castle Boulevard…

The service at Boots Castle Boulevard Nottingham is top-notch. After a very bad experience at Boots Victoria Center, I was thinking about returning to VisionExpres. Today's visit to Boots Castle Boulevard changed my mind. The service was very friendly and competent. The reception was very helpful and professional. Special thanks to Mr. Dimi. He did everything to make me feel cared for and professionally served. My faith in people has been restored. Mr. Dimi did what I heard at Victoria Center was impossible. I am very, very pleased with the service at Boots Castle Boulevard. The customer service is excellent. I recommend this place to everyone.

Boots in Stroud

Boots in Stroud, unhelpful staff and optician - Osama. Won’t sign a form for eye test they did and I have receipts for. No reasoning given; always unhelpful. Made me wait for 40 mins and not even telling directly, sending front of house staff. This is not the first bad experience I’ve had there. Switching to spec savers.

Boots Opticians in Wimborne

Re Boots Opticians in Wimborne, Dorset.The staff were very helpful and repaired a pair of my glasses for free! I also use this branch for my contact lens and eye tests. I also have some phonak hearing aids, which I purchased after a 3 month trial.
Very efficient service.

Helpful and considerate

The staff in Boots Haverfordwest helped to put me at ease. I had not wanted to go for an eye test after 2 very negative experiences at Boots opticians in Cardiff where they told me there was something wrong on 2 occasions and never listened to me (turns out there was nothing wrong, just a massive overreaction by an inexperienced optometrist).
In Haverfordwest, the optometrist Elina was wonderful and took a great deal of care in examining my eyes and then explaining everything she had seen.
The young man Hugh, who helped me select new glasses and lenses was also very helpful and considerate.
This experience was so much better than my Cardiff one and i am much more relaxed about the whole process now. And....i have healthy eyes with 20/20 vision.
Thank you Boots in Haverfordwest.

The use of a machine to test which lense was better.

The only thing I want to complain about is the way the optician at Wokingham used a machine to compare one lense against another. In previous tests a box of lenses was used and a quick comparison could be made between two lenses. With the machine you flicked through seeing 2 or 3 other lenses before reaching the one to compre against. It was difficult to decide which one was better.

Bexleyhealth eye test appointment

My mum had an appointment at Bexleyheath branch today with Ravi, she struggles with mobility and the team were great at meeting her needs. They explained everything they needed to do and great help with choosing glasses.

A great experience


I visited Boots Opticians in Romsey again today and as usual it was an excellent experience. I am a very fussy person & once again Charlie was the epitome of patience & helpfulness - a real star!

I was seen on time at my local Boots…

I was seen on time at my local Boots store in Clacton on Sea today.
The staff were helpful, friendly and the optometrist explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it.
They were a pleasure to deal with.

My go to opticians from now on.

After spending months going to a competitors optician to have my glasses fitted correctly, and never being satisfied, I nipped into Boots opticians in Aberystwyth, to see if they would be willing to adjust them to fit me. Knowing that my frames were not from Boots, the lovely Ella, sat me down and spent time with me, making sure that I was totally satisfied with the result. I couldn't be more grateful. As well as being patient with me, she was kind, pleasant and professional. Boots optician's will be my go to for future eye tests and purchases. 10/10

Had a great experience at Boots…

Had a great experience at Boots Opticians in Shrewsbury recently, from the very thorough eye test post cataract op (thank you Shannon), to the very patient staff fitting my complex prescription into frames I liked(thank you Fiona and Jet), to Jenny who did thd final fitting of the new glasses. Both glasses are great (I had sunglasses too) and I would certainly give this team 5 stars.🙂

I made an appointment over the phone…

I made an appointment over the phone just for an eye pressure check on the request of my GP and Consultant. Although I was originally told that would be fine was told on arrival that this was not possible and that I would need another full eye check. Luckily Mark found a way to accommodate this and Monet and Saidah carried out he check and diagnosis. I was truly grateful as this has been a very stressful six months for me trying to find a cure for sinusitis while not affecting my eye pressure with the steroids spray advocated by my doctor. Thank you for your support.
