Really great service and great quality product . Advice in advance spot on in regard to allergens and options , delivered on time .

Absolute trash! Cannot believe the hype these get. Ordered the festive box of 6 fried doughnuts. Ate one on arrival, it was okay, not great, dense and stodgy. Not like a real doughnut. Froze 4 as per their suggestion. Ate the other a couple of hours later. It was so dry as to be inedible. Reheated it following their instructions and it was edible, nothing more. Tasted like a three day old KK doughnut. On defrosting and reheating the frozen ones they were awful! So dry and dense as to be totally inedible. £35 for one average at best doughnut and 5 for the bin. An absolute joke.

UPDATE: Borough 22 reached out and offered a replacement box, which i accepted opting for all sugar coated doughnuts as i felt these had the best chance of successful reheating.
These replacement doughnuts were night and day compared to the first ones. Softer before reheating, and way way softer after reheating. They were actually excellent!! What i expected of the originals. Obviously something not right with the first ones I received. I would happily order again, but I would restrict that ordering to the sugar coated ones, as I still have reservations about reheating the iced options. I do appreciate their customers service and follow up!

Picked up a couple of fried donuts from Selfridges… one with jam and one with custard… they were amazing and tasted like a donut should! The guy on the counter was very helpful and even helped me halve them with a knife so that I could try each flavour and my son in law had the other halves… he loved them too! Yes they are expensive, but they were worth it as a treat.

Delicious doughnuts. Only reason hasn't got 5 star is the price is high. These will only be bought on rare occasions because of the price unfortunately. But the doughnuts are beautiful like 'normal' doughnuts so great to have this option is you are gf.

Jam doughnut from the counter at Selfridges. The assistant was so lovely and helpful, and the doughnut was absolutely incredible in every way! Not cheap, but neither are diamonds, and THEY'RE tasteless!!!

Doughnuts arrived with icing melted, very dense. Emailed to provide feedback and was told I should have heated them to freshen them up, but not sure how you’re supposed to heat up doughnuts with icing on top. The reply seemed disinterested, won’t be purchasing another box at £30 for 6 inedible doughnuts.

Amazing, second time I’ve made an order and just perfect again!!!

I thought I’d give these doughnuts a try, after I read all the good reviews. I ordered the Best of Box Fried doughnuts and the Strips and Dips box. My order arrived in 2 Boxes which were heavy, I hoped it was the weight of the boxes and not the Doughnuts but I was wrong. The outside of the box had patches of damp the doughnuts were leaking through. They looked nothing like the picture, they were wet and didn’t look appetising. I understand the sugar would dissolve but they didn’t look appealing at all. We heated our 1st doughnut as stated in the leaflet, the doughnut was very firm and the filling was warm not a nice taste. I stored them in an airtight box and the next day we tried some more this time they were getting too firm to bite. I could not distinguish the difference between the ring doughnuts in flavour. I was really looking forward to the Strips + Dip but was so disappointed you could not bite them and had to be cut with a knife after a taste ( 1 bite ) they went in the bin. I had 2 Doughnuts remaining which had to be thrown away they were so hard. I weighed the Doughnuts to see how heavy they were all averaging about 100 g each but felt very heavy and dense. Such a shame as I was so looking forward to them and it was £56 down the drain. Maybe if you brought them and ate them immediately they would be nice but getting them delivered was a mistake. Unfortunately for me, the best of Box was accurate as the box was probably the best bit.

These donuts are amazing! I still can’t believe they are gluten free! The taste, the texture and the flavours are out of this world. I have celiac disease and haven’t been able to enjoy a donut since 2008! Thank you to Borough22 for creating these. Fast delivery so I will be buying on a regular basis and letting everyone know about them!

really disappointing, these are no better than any other gf donut i have previously tried, dense and dry. maybe the fried ones are nice when eaten fresh but the home delivered donuts are no good. you need to heat them up but even then they are dense and still dry, also the ones with topping on obviously the toppings are going to melt during re heating so these are really not good. at £37 for a box of 6 delivered, its so so bad. They seem to have good reviews so maybe their quality is not consistent
