Very happy with Box of Wine that I purchased for my husband birthday.
He is delighted with the wine selection that have been tailored to his taste.
It does allow him to taste red wine that he would not have selected or found in the shops.
Delivery has been on time and customer service reply was prompt and very professional.

Never Disappoints
We've been getting box of wine for the last few months and it never disappoints! We have loved every wine and are excited when the box arrives. We get to try wines we wouldn't necessarily chose as we tend to stick to what we know. This really helps to learn the different wines and food parings.

3 nice bottles of red wine arrived promptly. Deducting one star as there was no information about one of the bottles. The card was for another wine. Hardly worth complaining about - but if you want 5 stars...

We are disappointed to hear you saw no value in our service and were not happy with your selection.
The three wines you received all retail between €17-€20 in other wine stores across Ireland which comes to a retail value of €55.95c. This is all before we package the wines, type up and print tasting cards for each wine and deliver it to your home.
Considering you paid €47.96c as a new subscriber discount and had the wine delivered within 2 days, we feel a 1 star review in this regard is an unfair representation of our small Irish business. If you google certain wines online, this can show cheaper prices as the results show the same wines in different countries and do not take into account Irish taxes and import duties.
We absolutely understand & respect that everyones taste is different & I again apologise that you didn't enjoy your wines, we of course cannot tell anyone what / how to taste in their wine, this understanding is at the core of our business model.
Hopefully you might try our service again in the future and enjoy our wines like the other happy customers who have left over 100 reviews on Trustpilot.

The 3 bottles delivered (after doing the wine quiz on the site) were absolutely delicious, particularly the red. Spot on taste-matching, great service and friendly delivery. Nice tote and bottle opener included also!

I'm really sorry the wine was not up to scratch, while what we do is not an exact science, the feedback we receive is overwhelmingly positive & is backed up by our long term customers, it is obvious in your case that we missed our mark & my sincere apologies for this.
Regarding your undrinkable wine may I ask if it was not to your taste or if it was corked (oxidised / sour)? In the event that any wine we send out is corked we always offer a replacement.
Our customer service is something we pride ourselves on & we regularly get complimented on this (see past reviews), I am genuinely sorry you felt it was non existent , I'd be grateful if you could tell us what we could do better ?
As per our service and covered in our FAQ section a feedback email is sent out 10 days after the box has been delivered (we allow the 10 days as this allows the majority of our customers time to finish their box), yours should reach you on 07/05.
The card expiry email is automatically generated from Shopify & serves as a reminder, we certainly dont have it in place to sour a customer experience.
I'd be delighted to try & rectify this if you were able to send us an email to info@boxofwine.ie.

There quizz system seems to work however seems to be no way to reorder a wine one likes.
