Used the Click & Collect service for garden slate chippings.
My first time of using the Click & Collect service. The members of office staff were polite & helpful & had the bags promptly loaded into my car. Very impressed.

Sand and cement
I bought a dumpy bag of sand + some bags of cement (twice). Ordered online without any problems and delivered within a few days. The drivers were great and safely craned the delivery from the road, over a wall and into the paddock, even taking care to avoid the daffodils. No problems. Happy.

FIRST TIME using Bradfords so rang to…
First time using Bradfords so rang to check not just trade. Gentleman I spoke to said public are welcome. Bought online and arranged to collect from Avonmouth depot. Arrived and met by a member of staff in the yard. Showed him my purchase order. He advised where I needed to go to process my order. Once processed he kindly put the order in my boot. Very friendly service by all staff I met. Definitely be back and cheaper than others I'd looked at. Thank you

Sadly, awful customer service
The products seem to be good but the customer service is so awful it doesn’t matter.
Upon ordering, I specified in the box provided more information to aid the driver in finding the location: uneven ground, my contact number to call if there is trouble finding the precise location (despite the fact that any maps app leads directly to the location) and that due to the uneven ground it is unsuitable for lorries but a 3.5t flatbed will manage fine. I also emailed the Avonmouth store this same information to ensure they were informed prior to dispatch. After getting no updates and waiting in my van for 3 hours to ensure I was there to receive the delivery, I received a text saying the wood had been delivered. I phoned and said it hadn’t - they said it had been delivered “hours ago”. After driving around I found the wood abandoned around the corner with nobody having received it. There was also an item missing that they said would arrive the following week with the other half of my order (it did not).
Today the other half of my order is arriving - after calling up it’s arriving in an 18 tonne lorry that has no way of accessing the location.
Given the information I previously informed Bradfords about before checking out, and via both email and phone I don’t know how this happened.
The communication is so bad with these people and this whole ordeal would have been avoided just by listening and using the information I gave.
