Purchased an Eleglide M2 from here for £600.
The bike was a good price and easy to assemble with only six parts. Friendly to deal with when its you paying the money.
It had an issue with the front wheel brake calipers needing readjusting which I had to pay to be repaired before id ridden it.
I contacted them with the invoice of £70 and was first told they would cover it and then accused of adding parts, to finally being completely ignored by email. No parts were added but the bike was picked up up, taken, repaired and returned. A cheap price.
In the end what started as a respectful interaction turned into a disappointment.
Not only.had I just shelled out £600 on a defective product which I had to pay another £70 to fix, but they refused to even acknowledge the problem and instead treated me like a criminal.
Typical London attitude!
Take what they can, give nothing to help in return.
In future I'll be buying my bike bits locally.

Very disappointing experience and extremely poor communication.
I ordered two electric bikes over two weeks ago and was given an estimated delivery time of three days. A tracking number was provided shortly after purchase, but the shipment has never moved.
After chasing customer service, I was eventually told that neither bike was actually in stock and that they hadn’t even been built yet — something that was never made clear at the time of purchase. This directly contradicts the delivery estimate I was given.
Communication has been painfully slow throughout. It typically takes over a day, sometimes two, just to receive a basic response, and updates only come after repeated follow-ups from my side.
At this point, there has been no meaningful progress on delivery, no proactive communication, and no clear timeline. I would not recommend ordering from this company unless you are prepared for long delays and poor customer service.
I was offered some accessories as compensation or alternative colours to the bikes I ordered. Neither of which were heartfelt, just bare minimum offers.

Bought a hybrid bike but when I received it the LCD would not work. I contacted them and they replied immediately. They kept me up to date in regard to them contacting the manufacturer. Honestly they were amazing! After numerous emails back and forth the manufacturer sent out a new LCD screen. The guys at Britishhoverboard sent me the link and order code so I could track the item until it was delivered. They even emailed to make sure once received the item worked. My grandson is over the moon and he loves his new bike.

Our hoverboard battery has lasted for less than 10 months despite being used less than 20 times. It now lasts less than 15minutes. Absolute rip off. Complaints useless to and ignoring emails. Save your cash and spend it on a decent company

Excellent service and delivery times from purchasing through to delivery. There was a small delivery issue with DPD and when I contacted British Hoverboards they were very quick to respond and my mind was put at rest. Excellent customer service.

Poor customer service
I originally ordered a hoverboard and a hoverkart for my son's upcoming birthday. The items that were delivered were wrong. I originally emailed customer services, who have not returned my email, so I then contacted the team via Facebook Messenger. Although they responded to my message, the message did not address the issue and instead told me that the item that I had received was out of stock and so would not be available. When I asked again for information regarding the return of the incorrect items and the delivery of the correct order, they did not reply. I have asked about the returns a third time, and they have simply said the address is on the box. The return policy states that the return cost should be covered by the customer if not happy with the product. However, the product that was delivered was wrong and at the fault of the company. I have asked for a return label, and they have not yet responded. The company have not answered the phone calls, returned my voice mail or emails and have now stopped returning my Facebook messages.I would not order from this company again.
Selling fake items
Selling fake items, pretending that they are made by a groor a high end manufacturer of hoverboards, but in reality they are clones. I spoke to him on the phone... Eventually and he was insistent they were real but the packaging the board and everything about it did not what gyroor was stating. He even accused me of lieing on the phone.. Avoid at all costs
