I am so grateful to the team at Bubble Boy Events for stepping in and helping us out with a 'pop-up' event on the last Bank Holiday. The booking was last minute and I was tremendously happy to note that the organisation went like clockwork nevertheless.
Tom arrived and set up without a hitch and the games were on in perfect timing. Encouraging teenage ladies to cooperate in anything so ungainly as running around in a big bubble was a task however great fun was had by all. This is a tremendously fun activity and I would recommend it to everyone. Many thanks again

Fantastic experience for my son’s 6th birthday! 🎉

We booked Bubble Boys Football for my son’s birthday and couldn’t have been happier with how everything went. Jerelle and his assistant were absolutely brilliant. They were so patient with a very excited group of 6-year-olds and did a fantastic job of keeping everyone entertained and involved.

All the boys and girls had an amazing time and haven’t stopped talking about it since! It was great to see them having so much fun in the bubbles!

We were really impressed with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Bubble Boys to anyone looking for a fun, exciting and memorable children’s party.

We arranged bubble football and archery for our daughters birthday party. Zaid was our coordinator for the afternoon. He was brilliant with the girls, explained the activities to them thoroughly. Very professional and friendly service and will definitely be using them again. Thank you for a great afternoon. Everyone had a great time.

Completely ruined my fiancé's birthday celebration.

I booked Bubble Boy Events the day before my fiancé's birthday after speaking with the company via WhatsApp. The activity was to take place in a nearby field, which I stated on the booking form. As the field doesn't have its own address, I used the address of the pub approximately 20 metres away for location purposes and also messaged the company on the same WhatsApp conversation to explain this. That message was never acknowledged.

After booking, I received no confirmation of an arrival time, payment instructions, or any other event details. I had to chase the company for this information, but my messages again went unanswered.

Just over an hour before the event was due to begin, I received a call from Laura, who said she was at the pub but that nobody there knew anything about the booking. I explained that the event was in the nearby field, at which point she informed me that the event couldn't go ahead because there was no power supply.

At no point during the booking process was I told that I would need to provide access to electricity. I think it's entirely reasonable to expect a company hiring out inflatable zorb balls to either bring the equipment needed to inflate them or clearly state in advance if the customer is responsible for providing power. Instead, I was told they had assumed there would be power because I'd used the pub's address on the booking form, even though I'd already explained that the event was not at the pub.

Laura told me to call her back if I could find a solution. Thirteen minutes later, still a full hour before the scheduled start time, I called back having arranged one. She didn't answer. I called repeatedly to TWO numbers + sent messages with no response, then drove to the pub to speak to her in person, only to be told she had already left. I continued trying to contact her, but she ignored my calls, despite there still being plenty of time for the event to go ahead.

A couple of hours later, she texted me claiming that I had been told the event was cancelled. That is simply untrue. The last thing she said was to call her back if I found a solution, which I did. She just chose not to answer.

What is most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability. Not only was there no apology for the poor communication leading up to the event, but there was also no acknowledgement that leaving the venue over an hour before the scheduled start time removed any opportunity to resolve a problem that could easily have been avoided with proper planning - & it was, she just failed to uphold her end.

This entire situation was preventable. Had the company communicated properly, confirmed the venue details, or simply made it clear that a power supply was required, none of this would have happened. Instead, my fiancé's birthday celebration was cancelled at the last minute through no fault of our own & we had to disappoint the entire party who had travelled to us for it.

The only somewhat "positive" part of this experience was speaking to another member of staff afterwards, who w agreed that a refund would be given, though it doesn't make up for a ruined birthday celebration or the unnecessary stress caused by such poor organisation and customer service.
