The money mind-shift we have experienced after joining Budgetdog Academy is incredible and unforgettable. If I could rate Budgetdog Academy (BDA)…
If I could rate Budgetdog Academy (BDA) on a scale of 0-10, I would absolutely give it an 11! Never have I felt so empowered, knowledgeable, and confident as I do now, in relation to my family's finances. I never paid attention to my retirement money. Knew literally nothing about it...now I know ALOT about it. I knew nothing about investing, now I'm learning SO MUCH about it. Had no idea how to get a true handle on our debt. Now, I've built amortization schedules, set up our AI powered budget (which is amazing BTW), set our retirement goals, determined our cash flow, and the best part?!? Eliminated THOUSANDS of dollars of unnecessary spending from our monthly budget. For the first time, we have a clear path forward. No more being stuck in slow motion, hoping to pay off our debt in 27 years and barely be able to make ends meet for retirement. BDA is empowering and a wealth of knowledge for those who are motivated to work hard and learn how to make your life better, and easier. Their coaches are outstanding and are always available to help any time you need them. Just send a message and by the time you wake up (haha), there's an answer! I wish every member of my family would do this academy and learn how to be smarter and more confident with money. I had been sitting on the side-line for…
I had been sitting on the side-line for 2-3 years watching and listening to Brennan about BDA. Right before I joined I signed up with a CFP and loved everything they said. However, it has been longer than 6 months since starting with them and I don’t feel any further than I was.
2 weeks into BDA and we feel more empowered about our finances more than ever. We just needed to see the numbers, see where we spending, get shown what to track and how. Looking forward to redirecting money into investment and savings accounts and to financial freedom!

Finally a resource that works
Finally, a resource to learn what growing and maintaining wealth looks like. We went from disorganized management of finances based on sporadic advice on IG. BDA provides a step by step How To that gives you the confidence to understand what it means to take control of your finances and growing your wealth. It is not an overnight fix, and you have to put in serious work for about 4 weeks. But then it clicks and you have a whole community of people behind you as evidence it works. It takes focus, but worth every penny knowing you won’t be living trapped by debt forever.

Their balance sheet exercise was important in getting a much better perspective about which type of assets we might have to divest in order to rebalance our assets portfolio. Budget-wise we went from a large accumulated spending deficit in November & December of $9K, to a surplus of $2K in February 2026.

Financial security through education
Supportive coaches, supportive community, comprehensive curriculum--although it does require a self-starter attitude. Overall well worth the investment to gain the knowledge that would have been harder to come by in other ways.

Budgetdog Review
The Budgetdog course is both comprehensive and easy to follow. As you work through the coursework, you receive a lot of information presented in a clear, digestible format. The program does require commitment, but in return you gain a supportive community and the knowledge needed to work toward financial freedom. We highly recommend the program and its coaches!

The detail oriented weeks, makes it very easy to understand what needs to be completed. However, I will say when you get behind, you do start to get anxious and overwhelmed. So try to stay on task!
