So far so good. I’m 10/10 on Week 7.
So far, so good. I’m on Week 7 of the 6 month program. Here’s what I’ve learned so far: Budgeting and forecasting my investments. I’ve learned how to calculate my net-worth. I learned how to pay off debt. Could I’ve learned this elsewhere? Probably. Sure. The thing is, that the commitment of the payment and me sitting down and being held accountable is what makes the difference.
Here’s what I really appreciate about the program. I was able to save almost 6 to 7K in fees by holding my investment through a bank brokerage account. While that may not be a lot of money for some, if you add the compounded interest and if you add this to the debt that I need to pay off, that comes to a lot. I’m so excited to be making the jump and manage my OWN money. It makes me extremely proud to be able to do that. I’m so confident that I’ll be in good hands with the knowledge that I’ve learned.

This is awesome progress for being only in Week 7. Learning how to budget, calculate your net worth, forecast investments, and build a strategy to pay down debt are foundational skills that most people never take the time to truly understand. What really stands out is the $6–7K in fees you were able to avoid by taking control of your investments — that’s a huge win, and when you factor in compounding over time, it becomes even more powerful. You also nailed something important: information alone isn’t the difference, accountability and actually sitting down to implement it is. I’m proud of you for leaning in, doing the work, and stepping into managing your own money with confidence. That sense of ownership is exactly what this is all about.
Easy to follow process
I love that the process has been easy to follow and not overwhelming. The way the course is set up really helps to take everything one step at a time so that the proper foundation is in place and the results follow! Just finished week 10 and have already made some big money moves!

BudgetDog Academy…the "REAL DEAL"
My wife and I joined BudgetDog Academy looking for structure and clarity in our financial plan — what we gained was far more than that.
Only being in the Academy for 2mths, the immediate results are amazing. Through the education, tools, and ongoing guidance, we’ve eliminated over $5,000 in bad debt and uncovered additional monthly cash flow we didn’t even realize we had. We’re now applying that cash flow directly toward remaining balances, and our student loan will be completely paid off within the next month — accelerating the payoff timeline by nine months. We've also paid off 3 credit cards sooner than expected saving us enormous amounts of interest.

Life changing investment
This program has changed everything for us. We are taking steps toward paying off debt that we would not have known about or considered before joining. We will be credit debt free in 3 years and our mortgage will be paid off in 13 years. We will also have savings with 3 months of expenses and have a sound plan to retire comfortably. Budgetdog Academy is worth the investment! It more than pays for itself faster than you would think! Just the peace of mind and lift of money stress has been worth the cost!

This course is legit. The program goes through investing and financial decision-making skills step by step to help even the most financially-novice individuals feel comfortable setting themselves up for future success. My only complaint is I wish I found them sooner!

I love this Academy and highly recommend it. Before joining, I felt like I was guessing with my money. Budgeting never stuck because I didn’t have a clear system, and I wasn’t confident investing or protecting what I earned.

I joined Budgetdog in October 2025. I have found Budgetdog really helpful with my finances and feelings towards money. Budgetdog has helped we automate everything so that I have piece of mind that all my bills are being paid on time while my money has a job and is not just sitting in a checking account losing value to inflation. The biggest win from this program has been the piece of mind as the availabilty to coaching as I have always stressed about the money.

Don't think twice
The price to join Budgetdog may initially scare you, especially if you are already struggling with a great amount of debt. But, it is one of the most valuable programs that I have ever paid for. I have learned so many things about budgeting and investing that I plan to use to improve my finances and help set my teenage daughter up for success.

I have bought into a lot of courses…
I have bought into a lot of courses over the years. I don't think any one of them can compare to Budgetdog. The resources, the knowledge, the information, and the hand holding along the way is priceless. The care and genuity from all the coaches of wanting to help everyone is a huge contribution of what keeps you motivated and focused. The courses are lengthy but it's all for good rhythm and reason. It's a system that breaks your old habits and sets you into the path of financial freedom. This is by far the best investment I've ever put into myself.

I have been amazed at this Budgetdog…
I have been amazed at this Budgetdog Academy experience so far. I'm only in Week 7, but my husband and I have learned so much, it's unthinkable. I've always been able to pay my bills, had a mutual fund set up, pension, and 401k, but we have learned we didn't really know much! We've learned 100x more than we did 7 weeks ago just from this class. Initially, we thought it was way overpriced, but we are quickly learning we wish we had learned these things 30 years ago and believe everyone should learn these things in college! We are simply astounded and are on our way to be millionaires, thanks to BDA! Coaches are very responsive and helpful and don't make you feel ignorant, even though we truly are (were)! Anyone looking at these reviews, which is what I did when I was deciding to join, please take my word for it and sign up.. but only if you are willing to do the work! Hope to see you in the class! PS, we're not paid to say these things, so they must be doing something right.
