I'd first like to apologize for any miscommunication that may have hindered your finding a resolution with us, and thank you for your patience. Upon reviewing your order, it appears the item purchased is an Ultimate High Security Locking Mailbox in Black, with an In-Ground Post. This is a standard front-loading mailbox. In order to provide you with a mailbox that would satisfy your needs, I can offer some suggestions for similar items that do have a rear-access door. I've also reached out to the manufacturer to see if there may be any other possibilities for resolution.

What I enjoy is that budget mailboxes still have over the phone customer service which is so helpful when you have a lot of questions. The delivery was surprisingly fast. This is roughly the fifth order over a few years and service and products have been very consistent!
