Build a Spa (Formerly Hot Price Tubs) SCAM SCAM SCAM please avoid for your own sake. Dean Morley has now folded his 3rd company leaving many customers out of pocket and many without any warranty's on their Spas. This guys is a con man plain and simple. You have been warned!

Our hot tub had problems within warranty, kept chasing Buildaspa and no one replied to emails since May. Called and was told someone wojld call back but never did. Also All the mental components have rusted.
Just looked at their website and found they have ceased trading, so now my warranty means nothing! Compelte con artists!

Company went into liquidation took my deposit refused to answer my calls,complete bunch of tossers

Wow, can believe it’s gone out of business, they weren’t qualified electricians either, please if you have had a hottub check the plug , as mine set on fire with me in it.🤬

They were a shambles of a company. Make sure if you ever buy a Spa that Dean Morley isn’t the owner or you’ll end up shafted. My first hot tub delaminated. Then a series of leaks on the 2nd. The first installed was disgusting and rude.

Had our spa delivered and paid balance before it was off loaded. They positioned it but realised they did not have all the parts to fully instal it. They said they would come back the following week but never did. Never answered calls or messages and now have ceased trading. Left us with a non working hot tub that cost 5k.

We where very pleased with the service we received when we bought the hot tub but unfortunately they have now gone bust so our warranty has gone with them, we had a couple of small issues with the tub which they soon sorted but we have an LED light which had stopped working so we will have to sort this ourselves now.

For all people who are thinking of buying from Buildaspa -DONT. It looks suspiciously like they have gone/going out of business. Their Facebook page has gone down and their Admin has stopped all members from posting on the Facebook Buildaspa Owners page. I think this may possibly be a pattern of the owner in that he starts companies up, then goes out of business with 2-3 years. I have been an owner for 18 months, paid £299 for a service just before the Queen died. Phone just rings out, and no reply from emails. Beware.

Upon doing lots of research before purchasing a spa, I came across buildaspa. Reading some of the reviews, I thought I would give them a go and what a huge mistake I made. Once delivered before making use of it, they want you to leave a review quickly.

I wanted to share my experiences so others do not make the same mistake.

I purchased a hot tub from buildaspa which was delivered on Wednesday the 10th of August. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the hot tub and service I received. I had endless issues and did not expect this when spending £5,000 on an item. Please see a number of issues i went through, have not had a response and have an unusable spa.

1). When my Electritian was setting up he noticed a number of the pipes not being tightened which he had to do himself.
2). Upon using the hot tub once I noticed there was a leak. I reported this and an engineer was sent on Monday the 15th of August.
3). When the engineer attended on the 15th of August he left the lid off, and due to the heavy rain a lot of dirt got into the hot tub and needed to be thoroughly cleaned by myself. I was surprised it would be left in this state after only being used once.
4). I used the hot tub once after it had been fixed, went on holiday, returned and used it twice and noticed another leak.
5). I reported the second leak on Monday the 12th of September and was advised the earliest time an engineer can visit is Saturday the 18th of September. After waiting in all day on Saturday, no engineer showed up.
6). I sent messages on Facebook messenger, left voicemails, tried calling several times on Friday the 18th of September, Tuesday the 20th of September and Wednesday the 21st of September and there has been no response.
7). I have spent £5,000 on a hot tub that I have been used 3 times and still not fixed and unusable with buildaspa nowhere to be seen.

I will be raising this with trading standards due to no response or fix from buildaspa.

A week after order I haven't heard a thing from the company nor received the product. They want a review? Well here is your review Buildaspa

We're a Chinese compamy, we shipped 1 x40HQ container to this company (BUILD A SPA LIMITED, Dean Thomas Morley) in May. But Dean Thomas Morley didn't pay,didn't reply neither, he caused so much storage costs at Southampton port. Dean Thomas Morley dodged our emails all the time, very irresponsible and serious breach of contract. We're reaching the Chinese Embassy in UK now.

I have been very impressed right from the start. Great communication and very pleased with the product. Also a very competitive price. I would definitely recommend this company.

Went into the show room looking for a hot tub they were brilliant helped me pick the one to suit me and the family, explained how the process worked and gave me a delivery date. Hot tub then arrived on the day and put into place so far so good, great service. Thank you.

Hot tub in use for 4 months now. No issues with the hot tub and customer service excellent. Great price and service.

Great value and product. Quick delivery and the service was great before and after purchase. I would recommend this company if your thinking of buying a hot tub.

After looking online for a few week decided to use build a spa. Ordered the hot tub got delivery date straight away 4 weeks waiting and it was definitely worth waiting for the product very satisfying for the whole family. Cannot recommended this company enough very helpful staff. We have already had a use out of the hot tub in the small amount of time we have had. Easy to set up and the functions on it are very simple thanks build a spa Jordan Ellis.

Item not arrived yet. Email stating 35 hour delay. Must be coming by tui or easyjet.

We bought a Zeus Deluxe from Build A Spa earlier this year and do not have a bad word to say. The price, delivery and service have all been fantastic. Would highly recommend 👍🏻
