I bought my first palette FROM BULQ, the Manifest was completely correct with a couple extra surprises which were fantastic. The only problem I had was with Freight. I paid quite a bit to have my pallet shipped, the problem was the shipper here only uses semi trucks to transport so I had to wait an extra three days to get my shipment when the truck was in my area so I could go and meet them on the side of the road so they could offload the pallet onto my pickup truck. Thank God I had access to a pickup truck I don't know what would have happened if I didn't.

Nearly $100,000 Spent Through BULQ, Here Is Why We Stopped Sourcing With Them - An In-depth Review

When we had first heard about BULQ, we thought it might be a great opportunity to source products for our business. Below is an in-depth review of the issues and misrepresentations we’ve encountered since we started sourcing through BULQ.

1. Retail Estimates Are Not As Advertised
- The Retail Prices shown for items, cases, and pallets are not always as advertised, and in some instances as we’ve seen, blatantly marked out of proportion in order to encourage buyers to order the lot. We’ve noticed an iPhone 8 marked for $1400, Wired EarBuds marked as $999, and more price markups that don’t match their actual current retail value.

2. Claims
- Across 47 Orders since 2019, we’ve needed to file a claim for 43 of those orders. A large amount of those claims had to do with the “most expensive” item in the lot. We had a circumstance where a Case was advertised to include a $2400 brand new 2020 MacBook Pro among other items. We found this to be a great deal considering the cost of the lot was slightly below that price. Instead, we received a used 2010 MacBook Pro with a faulty screen with an estimated resale value of about $100. Their refund calculations are based upon “an internal system” that calculate their wholesale value. The retail value listed for an item will not be an indicator as to how much you’ll receive as a refund for your claim.

3. Jewelry
- From our experiences with BULQ, all jewelry comes unmarked, unbranded, and with no tags or signs of authenticity. We only specialize in electronics, so for jewelry items included in the lots we have bought, we found it applicable to take it to our local pawn shop. For an item marked as a $450 retail value, we were told that the jewelry was “costume jewelry” and virtually worthless.

4. “Price Drops”
- We’ve noticed a new tactic that BULQ has employed which is greatly misrepresenting their “price drops”. You’ll see a lot that is listed as a 30% price drop with a price of $4000, and a retail value of $4500. That would mean the original price is above the retail price. Apparently this tactic is used so that buyers believe they’re getting a great deal because the price has “dropped” by 30%.

5. Overall Fundamental Values
- Given all of the deceptive practices and misrepresentation from BULQ, it is disheartening that a company would look to “prey” on small businesses as a source of income. While we understand the customer service staff does not have direct information into the operational tactics of the business, we have had conversation with a few customer service representatives from BULQ that agree that some of BULQ’s practices “do not look right”.

We understand what it takes to build from a small company to a million dollar business. There are no short cuts or deceptive tactics you can take to cheat your way there. Honesty and trustworthiness is more valuable to us than money. We hope that BULQ will understand this fundamental value in the future.

They will keep the best items and your money too!

We buy from multiple uninspected returns sellers but we have only recently tried Bulq.com One lot was fine, random damaged items and ok items as is expected. The second lot however had 2 2018 Apple Macbook Pros which made up half the value of the lot. Even broken those would sell well as parts. But, when we received the lot, there were no 2018 macbooks at all. We did recieve 2 antique macbooks that are worthless. Bulq also loads up mixed garbage items to reduce the average value of the items... So a lot with 5 items over $500, but also 50 broken cell phone cases, and that drops the average item price to $54... so when we told them the macbooks were not included, they refunded the average value of the 2 items ... just over $100... The Macbooks are half the MSRP value of the lot. So they reply they will pay $100 and as soon as they issue the refund, they stop taking calls (2 pm EST) and say they're closed..

Weve bought uninspected returns for years... Ive never had a lot misrepresented this bad, Ive never had trouble with the sellers correcting a misrepresented manifest, Ive never had one think that unplugging the phone was something that properly represented their business.

Smaller cases charging more!

I was happy with the items that I purchased. However I bought 2 or 3K slots from you a couple of years ago and Wow! Your cases have cotton a lot smaller! When I receive my latest 1st case I was Shocked! Charging more for a smaller case. Makes me not want to order again.

SCAMMERS stay away from them if you are…

SCAMMERS stay away from them if you are just getting into reselling and can’t afford to take a big loss. I purchased a box on Feb 27th 2021 it arrived. March 3rd box was all messed up like some went through it and sure enough the height ticket items were missing contacted BULQ and they wanted to refund me only 50$ for items that was worth was over 300$. Extremely disappointed

Edit: they eventually made it right by offering another 225$ refund so bringing the total partial refund to 275$. Updated to 3 stars I shouldn’t have to post multiple bad reviews on different platforms and open up a dispute with PayPal just for you to do what was right to do in the beginning. You should really take a listen to my call with Martina she blew it.

Never let's me down

I have ordered several case boxes from 11 items to 73. As of now I only purchase clothing. I am extremely happy with all my purchases and appreciate the honesty, fast shipping, and awesome customer service. I do source from several other vendors that are hit and miss. BULQ is always my go to for the bread and butter items.

I continually get pallets with…

I continually get pallets with incorrect or missing items. The first pallet they refunded me a low, but mostly acceptable ammount. The last 2 pallets come up WAY short including a very expensive item that I depended heavily on for profit. Wholesale prices on those items EASILY come up to $1,000+ if someone with professional knowledge of these items appraised them. All i recived after complaining was $600. Another order that was "NEW" had 2 deffective iPhones in it & I haven't even filed claims on that yet. Not happy. BULQ depends on people like myself to keep them in business & they refuse to deal fairly with us. If you wish to keep me as a customer, someone needs to contact me and make this right.
