very good at taking your money, not so good at delivering service, next to impossible to contact to cancel order that was going to take nearly a week longer to deliver than promissed

Local not local?
OK.. I have changed my rating from 1 to 4 because the flowers delivered today were beautiful. (thank you).. But comments I made are valid so will leave for readers consideration..
I placed a order for mother's day flowers for my mum on Thursday. I didn't notice that the address had added a "u" to the end of what was supposed to be Waikawa and "bay" Rd, Waikawa (Picton). It is a new address for her so I just thought "oh Waikawa "Bay" Rd"... I typed in the district and the postcode so everything else was correct..
My bad, yes but...
1. This site purported (at least that is how I read it) to be operating in New Zealand and deliver locally
2. No one contacted me by email or phone when the address error logged, they simply held the order.
2. The charge was invoiced the advertised price PLUS TAX
3. The price advertised was in NZ dollars but the charge on my debit card was also subject to a currency conversion fee..
I realised my error and phoned them at about 9.30am on Saturday morning... The tracking record shows that the flowers went from Auckland to Christchurch and had been collected from Linwood... Still a way to go to get back to Picton.
I suspect the flowers will be very tired when they do actually get to destination.
And my interpretation of "local" is quite different.
I the future I will deal directly with a florist in the neighborhood.

WARNING CORRUPT COMPANY: Absolutely avoid this company. I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day and they never arrived. I’ve contacted customer service five separate times trying to get a refund, and every single time I’ve been given a different excuse. No accountability, no resolution, and terrible communication throughout the entire process. This has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would not trust them with your order, especially for important occasions.

STAY AWAY!!! I should have read the poor reviews before ordering! I ordered the Cherry Blossom Bouquet and this was not delivered!!! Baby's breath and Yellow Gerber's throughout.No purple flowers and barely any of the flowers displayed. Very disappointed to spend so much money.

Late delivery, wrong flowers, wrong size
Delivered super late in the evening on same day delivery and the flowers were incorrect and the wrong size. Call centre is incompetent and randomly hang up. They keep on asking for photos, which I send via email with my order number in the subject line. Don't waste your time with this overpriced company.

I ordered a PREMIUM LUSH LAVENDER BOUQUET for my mom on Mother's Day. She received a small, bouquet with a couple of roses, 1 lily, 1 bunch of some other white flowers and a couple small carnations. The florist used was Albertsons grocery store. Absolutely terrible bouquet. I was given a full refund after long chats and they said they would send my mom another bouquet. Still so embarrassed about the flowers that were delivered to my mom on Mother’s Day. Wish I could upload photos.

Ordered flowers for Mother’s Day- didn’t show up on the day, apparently they will be delivered on the Tuesday 2 days after. Ruined my Mother’s Day present and they also weren’t very helpful on the phone and had poor communication. Wouldn’t use them again as a company. Don’t offer refunds either so beware.

Ordered flowers for 92yr old mother. Didn’t arrive. Followed up with two emails and a phone call. They told me the flowers were left at the nearest ‘post office’!!! They refused to refund our money and said if we wanted them delivered from the post office we’d have to pay extra. Completely unprofessional and totally useless. Would never recommend ‘from you flowers’...

I order flowers for my 96 year old…
I order flowers for my 96 year old grandmother for Mother’s Day, who lives in New Castle and we are in Sydney. They didn’t arrive. I called the next morning the 1800 number to ask why. They Tell me that because it’s a big weekend they have a disclaimer that it may go out the next day. Than tells me my order is confirmed in the warehouse (so big enough to have a warehouse) but the order will go out today or tomorrow. What a joke. I said cancel the order. She said it can’t be cancelled. I asked to speak to a supervisor, was told a email is the only way. I reply, so I email them and receive the flowers, you guys say you got them! Never again will I order from them. Disgusting costumer service, disgusting all around. Now she has to wait around for two more days, maybe?? No refund? No flowers?
UPDATED: Delivered next day and left next to the rubbish bin. My Father in Law was there and was walking out to see a flower arrangement left next to the rubbish bin…. That says a lot. Garage company and some garage people working for them. Second Update: I wish that there was a place to upload invoices of proof of purchase. Despicable company lying about not finding an order! You have the money from my credit card!

Ordered flowers yesterday for my mum who lives over the other side of the country.
Flowers never arrived, got an email today saying they were coming! To late mothers day is over and she leaves today to go away!
No phone calls, no messages just completely missed with no one actually caring!
Poor excuse for a company!

Paid - nothing delivered
Flowers and chocolates did not arrive for Mothers Day, they did not let me know they would not arrive until I contacted them. They then told me they would be delivered two days later, I have asked for a refund which they are not responding to

Mother’s Day flowers not delivered
Mother’s Day flowers were not delivered. When I called the company they were unapologetic and blamed me for not reading the fine print.
The site says no delivery fee and yet I was charged nearly $20 shipping.
Avoid this company at all costs they are super dodgy!

Bogus company
The flowers I ordered for Mothers day never got delivered.
The Customer Services was only good at apologising. When I wanted a refund their response was, ' you well have to wait till tomorrow'!!!

Terrible service avoid at all costs
Ordered flowers for my sisters birthday to be delivered same day to an airbnb. Flowers arrived 2 days later despite my receipt stating same day delivery. By the time they were delivered she was no longer staying at the airbnb & they were left at the door. I emailed this company twice before delivery but they are refusing a refund as they were delivered. Likely to the new guests staying there. Very poor form and unwilling to compensate.

Spent $100 for a bouquet
Spent $100 for a bouquet. It arrives with 6 flowers. Even a bouquet at $20 from the supermarket looks better. A big rip off. Stay away

Ordered $125 Flower. Got a rubbish product & poor service…
Ordered flowers on the weekend fro $125 AUD and chose the Monday for delivery as it was available. Flowers had not arrived by Wednesday so I sent email as no phone number was available on website. No response from email addressee but another email from Bloomex arrived later. I found a Bloomex phone number and called them spoke to a lady who said she would escalate my query. Did some researching and found out that I ordered through a virtual web store. Received another email from Bloomex stating that my order was delayed as it was a special order. I advised them I did not order a "special order" and anything to be added that would cause a delay. No reply. Then I receive an message from Aust Post saying my order is with a courier and will be delivered on Friday FIVE days late. The order arrives and the special order delay was a packet of Milk Coffee bikkies ! . . So the delay was because they forgot the order then came up with a BS reason for it and what arrived was obviously from the end of day cuttings off the floor or from the bin. Do not use anything associated with Bloomex Australia. Rubbish service, rubbish quality and operate dishonestly. I voiced my concern and they offered $20 dollars off my next purchase with them . . Like that's ever going to happen. Use another service provider and avoid this poor excuse of a business
