Burncoose Nurseries Avis 

I ordered 5 heuchera 3 litre plants. I received 5 3 litre pots filled with loose compost . The heucheras had no rootball at all. They had simply been put in a 3 litre pot. I doubt any of them will survive. I complained to the nursery. I did not receive a reply. A complete con and a waste of money.

Ordered a Little Lime Hydrangea. It arrived quickly and was well packed with no damage. The plant is a good size and shape and appears very healthy. Can't wait to plant it out tomorrow. Will definitely order from this nursery again.

I order 7 plants and all where well established, the packaging kept them secure during transit. I wouldn't hesitate to order again and looking forward to my plants bloom, thank you

I use Burncoose a lot they have a wide selection of unusual plants , the quality is superb and always packed well to ensure plants arrive intact . Very good and fast delivery service . I highly recommend them .

Plants arrived very quickly, and well packaged. They were a good size, and very healthy. Good communication too. Only a small gripe, postage seems high, but I would still order from them again.

Just had my order. It was very quick.,The plants were in excellent condition and packed so well. Although I have to pay postage as a long way from Cornwall to Norfolk consider it worth it for the quality and variety.😀

Purchased plants received in good order but I was surprised of the size of the plants - much smaller than expected. I was told it was because of the weather (I’m very aware of the weather!) but I do think putting a small plant in a big container is particularly dishonest.

Beautiful healthy, mature plants delivered in several boxes for protection. Only ordered last week. Magnolia in particular is magnificent, as tall as me. Delivery process stress free which is a change from other nurseries

As a First time purchaser I’d been searching for berberidopsis for a long time. I wasn’t sure what I would get for my £25 plus postage but decided to risk it even though buying plants on line is a lottery. I couldn’t have been more delighted. With good communication the plant arrived promptly and with excellent protective packaging. The plant itself was so much larger and more mature and healthy than I could have even hoped for. I’m absolutely delighted with the whole experience and am enjoying looking through the lovely catalogue with a fantastic choice and will buy again with confidence.

A most reliable company. Plants always arrive in excellent condition and I have not had a failure yet (client for around 30 years).

A few years ago l ordered a Camellia Williamsii Waterhouse. It has taken a couple Springs to establish and to put out a lot of buds. But 'oh! oh! oh!' this year it has been laden with the most glorious blossoms imaginable. Thank you Burncoose for sending a plant that has given me as well as my neighbours and visitors such joy over the last few weeks! If ever l need another Camellia I'll consult their catalogue instantly!

I like the Burncoose website - there are no annoying adverts so you can concentrate properly. We visited the nurseries 3 years ago and the advisers were professional, knowledgeable and not pushy. Beautiful slightly magical secret garden surroundings and good selection of all sorts of plants - the ceanothus we bought is thriving, despite the shock of moving 5 hours east to London. The Burncoose YouTube clips are really enjoyable too, if still there. Would love to go back.

Have complained many times about the downhill trajectory of Burncoose! From terrible plants to useless delivery.
Thought I would give them another try as it has been a long time.

After searching for a rare shrub in UK Gardens finally found this wonderful nursery had it in stock. A perfect specimen, well card for, great quality.

I am sure their plants are good. However, the delivery company is failing them. I have ordered 3 magnolias which were £80 each and DX have failed delivery twice so far.
I am not sure if I will ever receive these and what they are going to look like after 5 days in transit…
