lack of Transparency
I wrote a complaint earlier that I had paid a fee,(959.28) to protect myself from the $10000 change fee if I had to change my reservations for my trip to Africa with my two grandchildren. Well I had to change my reservation and Ralph wrote that they wanted to charge each ticket $10000 but then they decided to just charge 10000 for the group of tickets.(hum that figure sounds familiar) So I had to pay $10617 to change my reservation. I wrote a complaint that I had paid a fee to avoid the change fee and I wanted a break down of all the costs: tickets, cost to pay for the service, the difference between already paid ticket and new tickets, etc. Ralph wrote back that the new cost for the tickets was 10617 and that he couldn’t share the breakdown costs. They don’t do that! I complained that they lacked transparency.
I GET IT!!! You pay $1000 so if you need to change your reservation you don’t have to pay a $10000 change fee but then you have to pay 10000+ to pay a new ticket price. I objected but it seems the change fee and the ticket costs just so happen to be the same????
