You have to be kidding me that I have to pay for shipping. That is what has caused this mess and caused me to have to stop doing business with your company. As a disabled person I am astonished at the unprofessional and utter disregard of your company to make this situation right according to both sides. The tracking number is the same as the one used for delivery because I refused delivery at the UPS Store. Contact UPS for a shipping refund, period.

I am going to give your company really harsh reviews on every social media platform I can find. I am notifying all my friends who have ordered from you in the past to stop doing business as well. I found a company that offers the same or close to the same items and will start doing business with them or make my own.

I REFUSE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING ON THESE ITEMS ON DELIVERY AND RETURN. I SUGGEST YOU GET YOUR MONEY FROM UPS. I EXPECT A FULL REFUND OF THE PRICE I PAID, YOU GAVE ME FREE SHIPPING ON PURCHASE. GET YOUR MONEY FROM UPS NOT A DISABLED OSTRACISED CUSTOMER.

To further add salt to my wounds from this transaction you made me get a neighbor to drive me to the UPS Store and get the package back to you within 2 days from your e-mail. I really suggest you look at your companies policies and decide to take care of your customers so that this does not happen again.

As you can see the delivery attempt was not made until Monday 4/6/2026. I was promised the package on both Friday 4/3/2026 and Saturday 4/4/2026. It was only after the customer service center from UPS was closed on 4-4 2026 that they changed the delivery day until Monday 4/6/2026. I had to go look for the UPS truck delivering in my area and had a long conversation with him regarding my package. He said it was not on his truck and he could do nothing about the situation. This is extremely horrific customer service by both UPS and Buttermaid Bakery.

When I placed the order for 4 bakery items, the promise date was Dec. 18, 2025, four days after I placed the order. The order never arrived. I went back in to see what happened and now the delivery date is Dec. 22. I had a party on the 20th. I wanted the items for the party. I wrote the company with no response. How will the bakery items be fresh when they are taking 7 days to arrive. The ship out date was Dec 15. This is not acceptable. I will not be ordering from them again. I will put a dispute in on my credit card since they are not responding to my email inquiry. I suggest you find another bakery that cares about their customer service.

Tried to place an order and my daughters address in Iowa showed up. ( I live in MD where I wanted it shipped.) Couln't change it. Didn't hIt confirm...just abandoned it. NEVER rcd. a response (supposedy from Stacey), so I placed another order the following day. I figured thet were too busy to address emails.. That went through. Lo & behold, I recd two shipment.. One totaled aprox$130 (correct shpt.) & another for appox $150 (wrong shpt.). called them 3 times and they basically blew me off. They claimed Stacey got the first order and changed it on her own volition. Claimed I used "Shop Pay', which i never heard of, nor clicked to activate. I'll prob trash the majoriy of it (kolachi).. I can't afford a total of approx.$250 now, nor would I ever. Greedy company that won't make right on a wrong order! I will pursue this w. my credit card company & the attorney general if need be.

Been ordering from them off and on for a few years now for special occasions like Christmas, Father’s Day, birthday, etc.They make genuine Eastern European style nut and poppyseed rolls similar to what my Hungarian grandmother used to make. The products are pricey, but they’re delicious. Never had any trouble with ordering.

Buttermaid Bakery is simply the best. I grew up in a small town in Illinois. There were several small, family-owned bakeries, and we enjoyed the delicious Eastern European-inspired baked goods. Things like Poppyseed Roll, Apricot Roll, Nut Roll, and Eastern European Cookies...
Buttermaid Bakery baked goods take me back to those days of my youth. The quality, freshness, and taste of these delicious treats are really the best you will ever find here in America!
