Poor customer support, too many sketchy sellers at BUYR.com
The pricing model on this site is misleading, as is customer service. I signed up when there was a promo and never received the coupon. I completed a purchase with the assumption the coupon would be applied. It wasn’t and I contacted customer support for some help. After continuing a several day email exchange with them, they finally told me “We apologize, but we’re not providing the coupon.” I wasn’t very pleased with the way this site works. There was quite a selection of items I was interested, but for reasons I couldn’t understand, the prices were insanely high! For example, I was shopping for Converse All Stars and a pair of simple CTAS in red canvas was over $100? The very same shoes are available on Converse’s site for less than $60, with the same UPC code.
It didn’t make sense. The more I shopped, the more I began to sense how the site attracted some scammy sellers. I received what I purchased, after waiting nearly 2 weeks for the item to arrive. I left and went back to Poshmark, where I’ve purchased over 10 pair of Converse w/o a single problem. I am not affiliated with Poshmark in any way, I simply felt far more comfortable messaging directly with the seller, instead of the flea market approach of BUYR.com. I’m sure there are deals to be found at BUYR.com, but I’m not risking my time and money on the sketchy sellers at BUYR.com.

I'm sorry we didn't deliver you a 5-star experience on Buyr.com. Though we've come a long way since your purchase over a year ago, we never like to see a disappointed customer.
As you're aware, we did refund you in full for your purchase and provide you with a new Reward card to provide you with a smoother shopping experience if and when you'll give us another shot!
While we're aiming to please everyone, there will certainly be an outlier where things don't go smoothly. Based on our overwhelming number of 5-star reviews, we're glad this is indeed an outlier and an outdated review.
We've exhausted all options in an attempt to correct this negative experience and make things right. We hope it's appreciated and recognized by yourself and those who take the time to read this reply.

I searched everywhere and nobody else had this radio in stock. I don't know how they found one to sell but it made my christmas to be able to upgrade my car stereo.

A simple, pleasing process
My product was easy to search for and find and the app made it simple to place my desired bid. It's also great that you can alter your bid as you go without starting a whole new process. In the end I got the TV i wanted for a good, fair price.

Great Customer Service
I originally had problems with this order and wasn't able to get them resolved at the time. But BUYR recently went out of their way to help me get it fixed long after the return period. I believe what happened was an isolated incident and not totally BUYR's fault. I would gladly shop with them again.
