Caffè Nero Avis 

I visited the clitheroe branch. The tables, floor and toilet was filthy. The door to the kitchen was open. The floor was filthy in there. The fridge had dirt under and around it.

I am a regular visitor to Cafe Nero in Newbury. The girls that serve in there are friendly and smiling and even bring my coffee and croissant to my table now, as I am there so often!

They are really busy but always laugh and chat if you talk to them. One in particular (Polish girl, I think) always stops to talk to dogs in the cafe. She knows my order now so she kindly follows me to my table and brings my order with her. She even questioned something I had ordered by mistake and saved me having a doubly sweet coffee with far too much syrup in it!

I couldn’t ask for anymore. They are lovely, friendly and efficient. Best place in town to spend time and relax.

A well deserved 5 star review from me.☺️

violent and rude staff (Sandra) at labdroke grove branch , shocking behaviour

I am serious when I say you could catch a disease using their toilet in Fulham or Hammersmith. Urine on the floor bits of toilet paper strewn all over. every surface you touch is wet and bring some tissues there’s often no toilet paper. Only used when desperate and no alternative nearby. Went to chemist after to buy antibacterial hand wash. Come on Caffè Nero it’s been like this for years

Love your coffee and see a slight improvement of prices. Really helps regarding the cost of everything going up. Just wish your app was a bit easier to use

Visited Cambridge store opposite train station. After ordering a brown sugar oat milk iced latte, I was given regular milk. I'm lactose intolerant. No oat milk sticker was put on my cup. I didn't notice till I'd finished it and felt poorly. And would you believe it! It happened exactly the same in Birmingham New st today. I complained 3 days ago. Tracey Law eventually said she would reveiw the cctv. I asked if it had sound and how would she know it was me ordering?? They is no sound attached to the cctv. After much to and fro, Tracey came back with the earth shattering news that my brown sugar iced latte comes as standard with oat milk.... Tracey, people make mistakes. Good grief! Absolutely useless. Please retrain your staff

My boyfriend send THE EXACT SAME complaint for me to Nero and got a completely different reply. It was apologetic and agreed retraining was needed. He even got a £20 voucher!? Do better Tracey Law.

Well, where do I start. The staff are fantastic, that is with the exception of one member of the team Joe, who needs some training in customer service, manners and attitude. On ordering our coffee and tea the person was kind and well mannered and dealt with our order in a timely manner. My wife asked if we could have a bowl for water for our dog and Joe said he would do that.My wife placed our drinks on the table and then followed the Joe to get the bowl (we had water for our dog in a bottle) and after walking a short distance he said “you don’t need to follow me” in a rather aggressive manner. My wife said ok and sat down. A good few minutes later the female trainee delivered the bowl apologising for the amount of time it had taken. Now, as it is really hot at the moment I became irritated by the lack of service offered and enquired as to the colour of the gentleman’s shirt (black) and was informed that he had now qualified. The young female who cleared tables and saw to everyone’s needs was far better qualified to deal with requests!

Now this is NOT the server nor the young female but the young Asian lad who needs better training and manners before he handles requests from customers.

I would love to hear back from you on this matter.

Visited Hastings store today and was shocked and disappointed by the baristas arrogance and unhelpful manner.
I watched her prepare a cortado using the double spout dispenser. One shot going into my cup and the other going straight into the drip tray. When I asked about this she declared “yeah - you only get a single shot in a cortado” I told her I was fully aware of that but asked why the other shot was being completely wasted? She responded “it’s what we do here at Nero”!
Well shame on you all when you’ve got homeless or deserving individuals that would love a coffee but cannot afford!
Will never visit again! 😡

Tried to buy a voucher in a card format for a present but Café Nero no longer do these so brought one online for £75.
Purchased the voucher on my app but used my works email address to get it sent to, as thought I could re send it to my colleague.
Now find I cannot re issue the voucher to my colleague's email address who was meant for.
Rang customer service based in the UK but they said I needed to email Tech Support (based in south Africa) who would either refund me the £75 or email the voucher to the recipient.
Did this last Wednesday and received a reply the following day (case no 5280649), asking me send all the details of the recipient (name, email address and phone number), which of course I did immediately.
My colleague is aware that he should of received the voucher but embarrassingly he still has not had it.
I have now received feedback survey to complete which I cannot believe as they haven't resolved the issue at all.
I want my £75 back so that I can give him the cash instead or for my colleague to get the email so that he can add it to his app.

The coffee was okay but the costumer service was not. The girl working had a problem with my friend and me talking in Spanish, she started to make loud remarks to her colleague about how she could understand what we were saying, and how we thought she wouldn’t understand. We were having a private conversation and commenting on the extra price we had to pay for oat milk. She was saying we were complaining in Spanish and that she could understand, (loud enough so we could hear it). I told her if she wanted I could complain to her in English. We are both Latin women in our 40’s, if we wanted to complain she would still be hearing about it. We were just having a chat. We felt the girl had a problem with us speaking in Spanish, as there was no reason to be rude. She had a bad attitude and the staff needs better training so they don’t come across as being a bit racist.

Lovely staff let down by overpriced bitter coffee

CIRENCESTER, Market Place.

I have been enjoying Caffe Nero for over 20 years. Between a month and 6 weeks ago I attended the above branch and was treated so badly by a 20 yr old ish female. After making my coffee, she forcefully put the takeaway cup on the counter and threw the lid beside it and she said "Do it yourself". I was shocked at how I had been treated. I have never had such bad service from Caffe Nero and have never had any cause of complaint. I would never want to be served by this person ever again. The date of this incident is approximate.

This is an Eastbourne branch review. Nice coffee, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The service was slow, the place was dirty, and the furniture was worn out. The toilets were disgusting, and some of the staff's attitudes weren't very welcoming. There is definitely room for improvement. Finally, not sure how on earth they got a 5-star hygiene rating beyond me.

One of the hottest days of the year and....No Ice at the Hastings branch. Yet, there is an Iceland Store that has a ton of it just 100 meters away. Staff clearly too lazy to sort it out. Madness.

Cafe Nero Brindley Place Birmingham. I like the coffee at Cafe Nero. The service here is poor. Two baristas working and as I usually find only one actually serving. Today I visited. One person in front of me served first obviously. The second barista saw me and disappeared out to the back to do something,'important' Why did she not serve me and take the £9.40 I was going to spend on a latte, almond croissant and a cookie. I walked out and will spend my money with someone who wants my business

I always found this branch on Marsham street cosy and warm atmosphere but lately management has decided to stop physical reward cards and everytime I ask for a stamp for drinks that I pay for staff and manager specially seem to look offended and not welcoming anymore and refuse to give me stamps earned claiming that they are discontinued.
Quite shameful to think that this place used to be impeccable with service.

The staff in the Cirencester branch are always so polite and friendly, I've always had a positive experience when ordering from there.

I generally like all things Caffe Nero. Coffee is good and the decor is simple, continental and relaxing. My local is Sutton Coldfield which I've been going to for a few years now and service is always consistently good.

Grubby if not dirty store with grime on window sills, cobwebs on display signs, tables stacked with used cups and staff with no sense of urgency and lack of direction. A special mention to EllieB for being particularly unprofessional - I don't need to know when you last washed your hair or dyed it but it would be good if you offered a glass and ice with the cold drink and Cinnamon on my Chai Latte

I bought the New Iced Chocolate and Pistachio Luxury Frappe. However, after order was placed and started I was told that there was no cream. As this was over £5 I asked would it be discounted. The lady said no as the cream is free. I am struggling to see what the difference between a normal frappe and this un luxury option is. This was disappointing very watery from the ice and didn’t taste of anything. Would not recommend this one.
