CALLA beautiful shoes for bunions Avis 

Calla shoes are selling very expensive and very uncomfortable shoes. First outing, they almost immediately started hurting. The sole is incredibly thin/unpadded and the shoe box not generous enough. The strap was so thin it cut into my skin. My feet even hurt just standing in them at a party. Customer services refused to help. I have had to spend more money but I can recommend Sole Bliss who supply beautiful shoes worth the cost.

Order was cancelled without explanation, 3 days after my payment was made and taken.
Eventually, a long-winded explanation was sent by email into my Spam account and identical message left on my answer-phone.
6 days later I have still not received my refund.
Very concerning, disappointing and unprofessional

I’ve had two pairs of heels for work from here before with no issues.

I recently ordered two pairs of sandals, I have wide feet not bunions. They fitted my wide feet well but they were just a bit short for my very pronounced Morton’s toe unfortunately, I get that a lot with sandals every where.

I returned them and they refunded promptly but PayPal put a hold on the refund for some reason. I rang Calla up and spoke to a lovely woman at customer services who explained that sometimes PayPal issue an e cheque randomly which can delay the refund. By the end of the day the refund had gone through.

I can’t fault the service and certainly found the shoes wide enough and I have very wide feet.

I ordered the Bethany gold sandals thinking they would be comfortable. They are really tight. Also arrived damaged. I have tried on more comfortable shoes at a much much lower price. Tried to return but my order number is not recognised. Not at impressed.

Calla Shoes are sold as “comfort shoes for bunion sufferers”. They are anything but. I purchased a pair and tried them on at home. Initially they felt comfortable, so kept them. I then wore them to a party and in less than 1 hour I was in considerable foot pain and had to take them off. The following days I experienced more foot pain, particularly bunion ache. I contacted customer service to ask if I could return them as they were obviously not suitable for bunion sufferers, even though they were marketed as exactly that. It was a blunt no. Calla Shoes are ignoring Section 11 of The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and deceiving their customers.

Further to this deception, Calla Shoes asked me to write a review on the pair of shoes that I purchased, which I did. My review did not appear as only 4-5 star reviews are published.

The best customer service I think I have ever had! Really helpful, and so quick to sort a mistake I had made with delivery address. Amazing company to deal with!!

I as really excited to order these shoes as they look beautiful and they do appear to be well made. But I am giving 3 stars as they do not have a wide toe box! I purchased because I have wide toes, no bunions. My toes were just as squashed as they were in normal shoes. Maybe these are good for bunions as they happen in a different area of foot but if you just want enough room for little toes that get squashed dont buy. (I tired some boots and some ballet flats

I was so excited for my order since my bunions have been a real pain for a long time and any and every shoe I wear makes my feet hurt after some time. However I was very disappointed after I tried them on. They are very narrow and if I didn't know that these shoes are designed specifically for people with bunions, I certainly never would have guessed. They are also crazy expensive, which wouldn't be a problem if they actually were as comfortable as they say on the website. Very disappointed and won't be ordering again.

The shoes look beautiful and the quality appears good, but I was surprised and disappointed to find them too narrow for my feet. The returns process is irritating in that there is no pre printed label (you have to make your own if you are in the UK) and a returns form that has to be filled out manually, regurgitating all the information the company already has. I won't be ordering again.

Helpful, shoes were as explained, were suitable but half size to big and there was mot small size in stock.

Calla Shoes are well made and beautiful; however, I gave three stars for the following reasons: The return policy is such that if you do anything other than try on the shoe, they are non-returnable. I read, either on the Calla website or on the inserts that came with the shoes, that if the heel isn't tight enough, to use the stick-on heel grips. I did this and they are still too big and the heel of the shoe slips off my feet with every step. But, now, I can't return them. So, my three stars isn't just because of the return policy, because I understand that limits need to be placed to discourage those who try to take advantage of every situation without regard. Three stars were given because of the SIZING of the shoe. Not the length of the shoe but the width. Not the width in regards to bunions, but the heel of the shoe. Just because a person has bunions and needs more width at the ball of the foot doesn't mean their heels need extra width, too! Here in the US, average width is a B. My feet need a C or D width to accommodate my bunions, but my heels are still an average B width, or narrower. Why not offer two heel widths? I've spent about $360UDS on Calla shoes (two sizes in hopes the smaller size would work), that I'll only wear if minimal walking required and need to have something other than flip flops on my feet. Using a softer leather would be nice, too. I ended up finding a cute pair of shoes at WalMart, on clearance, for $1USD, that fit better. Sad. I'm so disappointed. It makes me wonder if everybody has really fat heels in the UK.

Comfortable shoes at last. So pleased with my new shoes and boots. Staff really helpful. The first ones I ordered were too much, after a small glitch in My returns they have arrived. Worn my flats all day, I am on my feet all day and these shoes have been very comfortable.
