Cambodia Airways Avis 17

I've traveled from BBK to Cambodia using this airline multiple time since last year. I always seem to have issues with flight delays, ranging from 30 minutes to a few hours. This time, the delay is two hours with no prior notice or explanation. Trying to resolve it was also a waste of time, I was simply told the flight was on time. I guess 2 hours late is on time. If you are going to use this airline expect delays but I'd suggest using a different airline. I can put up with some bullshit, what I won’t accept is the same issue happening over and over with no accountability.

Hanno obbiettato la possibilità di portare in aereo il bagaglio a mano tenendo conto anche della misura delle ruote e una volta dimostrato che non rientrano nelle misure di legge mi hanno impedito di spostare 1 kg. dalla valigia allo zaino facendomi pagare 65$ tanto quanto il valore di un biglietto aereo. Ma in Cambogia sembra solo valga la regola " se non freghi te ti fregano loro" . È un paese che deve e merita di rimanere in queste condizioni di miseria perché sono loro stessi delle miserie umane.

I had a terrible experience with this airline, and their customer service is not helpful. It is a scam when this airline refuses to take responsibility for changing the flight schedule that affects the customer's travel plan. They changed more than once, and they don't have to worry about compensating those who were affected by the change. When I reach out to the customer service, not only do they respond slowly, but they never get back to me or update me on anything. Such an irresponsible airline. I am very disappointed, and they don't deserve the national carrier service. I am Cambodian and I know it is not good for my country, but this airline brings shame to Cambodia.

but i make this voting , beacause their is another newairline the national flag carrier AIR CAMBODIA, its not the same , and can recommand, relativlý new airplanes average 6 yrs ,and nice staff air cambodia is preferable (still waiting on a refund hope it come lets see if not i cahange mind)

My baggage information clearly stated 30kg checked luggage and length not to exceed 158cm. My checked baggage weighed 26kg so under my allowance. When they asked what was in the bag and i said my golf clubs then things changed for the worst - they then pulled out a different policy that said golf clubs are excluded. They then proceeded to try and charge me $160usd for a flight from Phnom Penh to Bangkok - a 1 hr 15 min flight. When i questeioned where is my credit for the 30kg I am entitled to in my fare they got very aggressive and very rude. It was pay up or leave your golf clubs in Phnom Penh....=so I checked on air Asia and including credit for the 30kg they allowed and then adding spoting goods (as they have a area that lets you do your add-ons) and also upgrading to front row seat it was cheaper tahn what Combodia Air wanetd to charge me for the 'supposed excess baggage' so i told them to cancel my flight and I flew with Air Asia. I should have booked with Air Asia in the 1st place, best airline and never had an issue with them but the flight time for the Cambodia Air flight suited me better so i thought i would use and book with them. NEVER EVER again - they have lost me forever.

We flew to Cambodia for the first time from Ho Chi Minh City. Each of us was entitled to 23kg of checked luggage, 7kg of carry-on luggage, and a small backpack/handbag. When we went to check in, we were told that our small luggage had to go in the plane’s hold and could not be carried on as hand luggage. We put all the heavy items in the small suitcases to make our backpacks lighter. Since we had to hand everything in together, we thought they wouldn’t make a fuss, as is usually the case with other airlines.

However, this was the first time an airline insisted on weighing the small luggage, and of course, we were over the 7kg limit. We were immediately charged $65, which had to be paid in cash. We noticed that many other people had to do the same. They are absolute thieves! This is the first and last time we will fly with them, and we will strongly advise against this airline to family and friends. They are purely money-driven!

Excess baggage charges are very expensive and staff will not accept CC only cash.

Ci hanno costretto a imbarcare i bagagli a mano, ci hanno spaccato entrambe le valige e volevano risarcirci di 20 dollari delle valigie costate 2000. Vergogna.

The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. There was not any in-flight entertainment but it is worth the money. The legroom is average and it only takes a few minutes to get pass security.

Will NEVER fly with this airline again. My bag was lost on arrival to Phnom Penh and when reporting it at Lost And Found, I was met by the most rude and arrogant staff ever. They even gave me a wrong phone number to contact.

Had it not been for the hard effort of the staff at my hotel, I would never had retrieved my bag again. The airline could care less and it took me 5 days to get my bag back.

Worst airline service I ever experienced.

Avoid like the plague.
Turned up at the airport for flight from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Flight was cancelled. Were given no notification from the airline or from the agency I booked with.

I am so disappointed with this airline company!
I am leaving in less than a month and my flight tickets have been cancelled so to ‘commercial reasons’ I have not yet gotten my money refunded, as is for some reason will take 3 months.
Now new tickets that I need to catch my connecting flight back home is NOT 35 dollars per person anymore but 120c which I cannot afford.

I would recommend everyone to choose another airline from the beginning, in order to avoid extremely bad communication and a big vacation disappointment!

I just flew this new airline from Phnom Penh to Bangkok. It was flawless. I am an inveterate traveler (62 countries), and I can say this airline is as good as Singapore or Emirates. I wish it growth and good luck.
