This thing is insane! I have a dog with PTSD. He’s a gem, but he likes to lay on my bed at the front of the house. If a dog walked past he would literally lose his mind. His barking was horrendous. I had heard of these ages ago and thought they were a scam. There are a lot on the market. I read all the reviews I could find and chose BarkBuddy primarily because they are from an Australian company. I received it, took it out of the box and looked at it. Unassuming black plastic. Decided it was rubbish and shrugged my shoulders. Put it back in it's box and chucked it on top of the fridge. Couple of months later, my two dogs barking at leaves blowing by and EVERY delivery person, I decided I might as well give BarkBuddy a shot. Charged it overnight. Set it up feeling pretty foolish to be honest. And it worked!!!!! How? What? No way. I have a Staffy and a Cavoodle and together they bark at EVERYTHING. Home was not peaceful and it was embarrassing as well. BarkBuddy worked the very first time. They started to bark as usual - THEN STOPPED - looked at each other and then at incredulous me - who immediately praised them for being such good dogs. They went on with their day as normal and the next time they went to bark...exact same reaction! What? How? I don't understand it but I also don't need to. Buy BarkBuddy. Take a chance like I did. Even if you feel stupid, like me. I am still stunned and ridiculously happy!

Firstly I recommend you do some research and read reviews. I wish I had. You might try to read reviews on the company website but I found it difficult to find the page. Site couldn't be reached.
The first unit arrived and after charging, it was found not to work. I followed the trouble shooting guide. Again no luck.
I reached out to the team, explained the issue, produced a video showing me going through the recommend "reset" etc.as required.
Still nothing. Several emails later and a promised replacement.
2-3 months to get to this point. Eventually a replacement arrived.
Sure the lights now flash as per instructions, but I have little faith in the design and construction of this.
Save yourself time and money is my advice. It has been a frustrating process.

I have a school bus stop behind my house and when the kids are there my dogs really love to bark a lot. It’s definitely reduced the amount of barking my dogs do. My German shepherd does still bark a bit but much less than before.

The only issue I have is that the screws that came with it are too big to fit in the holes so you have to unscrew them before you can bring it inside to charge.

I completely agree with the many other negative reviews of Canine Corner. I seriously regret not checking Trustpilot before handing this business my money.

I ordered earlier this month with an estimated delivery date of only 2 days later. That date has come and gone, yet the tracking still shows “Order Ready” and “Waiting for carrier to update tracking information”. In other words, despite taking payment and providing an estimated delivery date, I have been given no evidence that my order has even been handed to a carrier.

After this raised alarm bells, I looked properly into the business and was shocked by the sheer number of customers reporting similar experiences, along with complaints about product claims, poor communication and difficulties obtaining refunds.

I have now demanded cancellation and a full refund and have raised the transaction directly with Afterpay.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend potential customers read the other reviews before purchasing. I certainly would not have ordered had I done so.

Avoid. There are reputable Australian retailers selling similar products without this headache.

My Chihuahua made a hell of a racquet whenever somone came to the door. It was a shame I did not capture the first time I had set this up near the door and the dog started to bark. Now the hound wont stand near the door and bark, and it rarely makes a whimper even when it stands well back.
I cant remember what I paid, it wasnt absurdly expensive but it is worth its weight in gold.

I purchased this product specifically to help reduce the constant barking from a neighbour's dog after seeing it advertised for that purpose. Unfortunately, it had no effect at all.

When I contacted customer support, I was told the product wasn't intended to work that way and that I had misunderstood the information on their website. However, I later saw an advertisement on their Instagram page explicitly promoting the product as a solution for neighbours' barking dogs.

This was extremely disappointing and left me feeling misled. If the product isn't intended to work for neighbouring dogs, it shouldn't be advertised as though it does. Based on my experience with both the product and customer service, I wouldn't recommend this company.

These are rubbish. Purchased 2 - delivery took at least 3 weeks, from Adelaide - I dont think so. They do NOT work, I can only assume the positive reviews are fake. I have 4 dogs and not one stops barking. Plus every noise activates device so the battery life is terrible.

Do not purchase from this company! The delivery is beyond slow, communication is awful and so slow. They claim to be a company from South Australia but their products are shipped from Asia and take a very long time. All communication is soooo slow! They don’t respond to their instagram messages. Emails take minimum 3 days for a reply. Their guarantee is a joke and do not provide any refund. They refuse to consider their ‘guaranteed refund’ less than 30 days of using the product. They send you a lot of questions after this 30 day period and say they need to review responses to see if i am eligible for a refund despite their products not working and their guarantee. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

I purchased two Barkbuddy devices after seeing the advertised 30-Day Bark-Free Money Back Guarantee. Unfortunately, in my experience the product simply didn’t work.

I used the devices consistently for over six weeks, followed the setup instructions, tested different placements, adjusted frequencies as recommended, and even supplemented with reinforcement training techniques. Despite all of that, there was no meaningful change in my dog’s barking behaviour.

What has been more frustrating than the product itself is the process of trying to claim the advertised guarantee.

Instead of honouring the guarantee when requested, the support team repeatedly extended the trial period and introduced additional requirements after the fact. Each response required more information, more testing, and additional troubleshooting steps. After confirming that the device was functioning correctly but simply ineffective for my dog, I was then asked to provide detailed usage logs, behavioural reports, and even a video demonstration of the device being used with my dog before they would consider the refund request.

At this point it feels less like a “money-back guarantee” and more like a lengthy qualification process designed to make refunds difficult.

I appreciate that results may vary between dogs, but when a product advertises a clear guarantee, customers reasonably expect that it will be honoured without excessive hurdles once the product has clearly failed to deliver results.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.

This is a great product that really does work. My dog would stand at the bottom of my bed & bark when she thought it was time to get up & get her breakfast. One week of using the “Bark Buddy” fixed that ! If she started barking for no reason i would just have to pick it up .. not even turn it on .. and that was enough. Highly recommend 10/10.

I recently got my hands on the BarkBuddy & the BarkBuddy Go & it has seriously brought so much calm to my house! My pup is quite reactive & can bark loud when anyone walks past the house. So I was on the lookout for something to help reduce this (especially when we aren’t home to monitor) before we got noise complaints & I can confidently say that it works! I also love that it isn’t harmful to my pup in anyway. I truly cannot recommend the BarkBuddy & BarkBuddy Go. Absolute lifesavers!

Don’t waste your money. Totally useless product. My dog started barking even more when the device was switched on. Tried all the settings and various locations with no results. Worse still the company’s money back guarantee isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. They will try everything to back out of it and blame you or the dog for the device not working.

Used as directed, large dog cowers and shakes when it’s used so it’s not humane.
Delivery took way longer than promised, money back guarantee is a sham. Don’t buy this.

I had tried a few different devices and nothing seemed to work. The first time I turned this device on my cavoodle stopped barking, however the little Maltese Shitzu no response. I have learnt, that if I place the device facing a solid fence, it works immediately on her also. This works so well, I only have to say that I'll turn the box on and there is silence. I only use this device when we go out and the dogs are left outside. The device has a huge battery life. Easy to recharge via a USB. Now we have happy neighbors.

The "free 30 days guarantee" is not real, the devices are not suitable for my situation when I requested for return or refund, they used any reasons/ excuses to decline your claim. Very unhappy and still have not received a refund or even any indication of one.

Barkbuddy is fantastic! My dog rarely barks now due to the frequency and love how you can put it just about anywhere indoors or outdoors! Highly recommend.

Fantastic products that actually work. I have the bark buddy and bark buddy go which has been so helpful with stopping my dog from barking all the time.
