Sometimes the true test of a company is not when everything goes perfectly, it is how they handle things when it doesn't.

My wife has ordered several canvas prints from Calgary Prints over the years, and they've always turned out great. Recently, I ordered an extra-large canvas print for my home office and when it arrived, there was some chipping along the edges.

I sent them a quick email and their response was exactly what customer service should be. They apologized, made no excuses, and immediately arranged for a replacement. There was no back-and-forth, no jumping through hoops, and no hassle.

The replacement arrived and looked fantastic. I actually came away more impressed with Calgary Prints than if nothing had gone wrong at all. It is refreshing to deal with a company that stands behind its products and genuinely wants its customers to be happy.

I would gladly order from them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality prints and great customer service.

Awesome experience. I have used them numerous times now and all shipments have been quick and great quality. I had questions, for example how to stretch a canvas myself. They went out of their way to help, taking photos of some tips they do in their own shop and sending them to me.

Our friend purchased a 2x3 foot canvas print of a photo of our band SHAG the Band at a recent performance at the Commodore Ballroom and it came out so wonderfully we ordered one too! It now is proudly displayed in our office. Not only is the product wonderful but the ordering process was simple and easy via email and delivered promptly after being ordered.

Canvas Prints Ltd. might be a good choice for printing needs- but proceed with caution. Especially if one doesn’t live in Pincher Creek AB.
Importantly:
Expect 0 customer service. (they conveniently ignore parts of reviews that mention poor communication but the messages are there)
Don’t ask questions.
Send money and wait.

Their website states -“ printing in Edmonton”. Elsewhere in Canada one might see printing in Vancouver or Calgary- this is false.
The website states- “printing in Edmonton”. But no.. the address shown is a drop shipping location.
Everything is printed in Pincher Creek. (Listed as head office of Canvas Prints on the website; no mention is made of being the only location of actual printing)

Very difficult to reach a person- all numbers have same voice mail.. the message is “we might be busy.”

In response to my email and voicemail asking for clarification and to have address corrected…
1. *I received a screenshot of website showing pickup address. But no response to my request.
2. I also received a text message :
*“Exactly you’ve ordered for pick up in Edmonton, not for printing in Edmonton.
It is not possible to change your delivery address without cause of delay or without charge. Your order is currently in transit. *not accurate *

Collect it when ready. Have a good day”

“We can’t stop stupidity so you are free to do what ever you want”

Purolator confirmed package had not been picked up.
While on the phone with Purolator, shipping label was cancelled.
My order was cancelled; I was told *don’t order from us again.*
Haven’t received the refund.

If one person chooses a different printing service my effort of reviewing this heinous company will be worthwhile.

I got prints for my artist company @staygroovycreations and they’re PERFECT

My expectations of the finished product, having ordered in the past and always been thrilled with the result, are a given.

However, this company communicates at a level that continues to astound me.

They presented me with a superior option to solve my problem at a lower price with a superior finish for my application .

All with seamless, professional immediate emails.

Should be a business case at Rotman.

Ordered a 60" x 38" canvas from a photo. Immediate response to my questions. Maintained the integrity of the composition by adjusting the canvas size. Couldn't be happier.

The picture was done so perfect, I’d give it more stars if I could. I certainly would recommend them to anyone. I will be ordering more canvases from them.
