Sraightforward online application
Sraightforward online application. Step by step unambiguous questions followed by the quote. The price was higher than I expected - abut half the cost that the hire firm was asking. I had some problems paying, although I inputted the bank conformation 6 digit cose the transaction did not go through. I did get a reminder to complete the transaction the following day that went straight through.

Why not send insurance docs by email
I love the cover but personally I am old fashioned and would at least like my policy documents emailing to me at auto renewal instead of another portal and password to login to. I think it is not open business if I have a busy life you have made it more difficult for me to access the policy easily.

Completely ignored my request to cancel the auto renewal and made themselves impossible to contact. Avoid.

I always take out my own car excess as hire cars several times a year abroad
After a recent bad experience in Italy at Bergamo airport , where in brilliant sunshine and reflections on the windscreen they were immediately aware of a tiny chip ( they obviously knew about it previously) this chip apparently was 180 euros to fix.
Eversure paid out within less than a week. Absolutely brilliant service 👌👌👌👌

The process wasn't clear. I purchased family cover because my husband and I hire cars independently but my certificate shows me as the policy holder and only my husband as a lead driver. I have had to raise a query which will take up to 5 days to resolve
