Eversure. A GREAT not GRATE company
I realised that I had 2 different covers simultaneously. One for Europe and then a world wide cover when we went to the USA last year. I emailed Eversure. They found the 2 policies and asked which one I wanted to cancel. On replying they backdated the refund to the purchase date of the new world cover. No faff. Just respect. So in my eyes a GREAT British company rather than one of our GRATE British companies such as Virgin media.

Policy appears good - renewal experience poor
Policy appears good. Renewal experience was poor. No customer loyalty. Received email telling me that would auto renew and that I was receiving a 12.5% customer loyalty discount, but the discount on the 'base prior' was misleading - as the base price was cheaper for anyone going on their website seeking a quote. Cheaper to cancel auto renew and take out new policy with the various discounts offered around the net. Policy hopefully is good but renewal system is poor, as they automatically put you on autorenewal and you cannot opt out.

We recently made some changes to our product, which means customers now need to select Own Country Cover during the quote process if they require cover for vehicle rentals within the UK. If this option is not selected, UK rental cover is not included.
We can see that your renewal policy included Own Country Cover, whereas your new policy does not, as this option was not selected during the purchase process. We also note that the new policy was purchased through MoneySavingExpert, a comparison site that may apply its own discounts and pricing, which is unfortunately outside of our control.
Please note that customers can choose not to proceed with an automatic renewal; however, you would need to contact us to arrange this, or alternatively manage your policy through the MyAccount portal.
If you would like to discuss your policy further, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team.

you do the work....but they did pay out
they did provide assistance and cover, resulting in a pay out. However, it requires you do acheive a lot of the legwork and chasing the car hire firm. I have renewed my policy with them because it proved beneficial, but having had to make a claim it would have been my expectation that they would do most of the work in pursuing the car hire company.
