I’ve been meaning to write a review for years! Bought my Volvo from Car Hub 3 years ago now. It was delivered to me after I urgently needed a car following mine being written off. I had never seen it in person. The man who delivered it was very friendly and patient while we inspected the car. Full service history. Advertised with less than a full MOT but when I queried this they put it through an MOT for me at no extra cost. It was really worrying buying a car unseen, but I’m glad I did. These guys made it a smooth process in what was overall a very stressful experience with losing my original car. Thank you for the help 3 years ago and sorry it’s taken so long to provide a review.

I reserved a Land Rover Discovery from CarHub London by paying a £500 deposit through an online bank transfer. I only saw the car via a WhatsApp video call, since I am based overseas and planned to ship the car to Cyprus for my growing family.

After doing more research, I discovered that Cyprus taxes and fees for importing this vehicle were extremely high, and I also learned about serious reliability issues with the Discovery model. Naturally, I decided to cancel the purchase.

Here’s the problem:

I never signed any contract.

The entire interaction was done remotely/online.

Under UK consumer law, when a sale is made online, I am entitled to a refund within the cooling-off period.

CarHub London flat-out refused to refund my £500, arrogantly telling me there was "no genuine reason" for cancellation. That makes no sense — if I was just "wasting their time," why would I give them a deposit in the first place?! They also cited their policy which they refused to show me, despite asking them repeatedly to email me a copy of it.

This experience feels deeply unfair and unprofessional. Buying a car is a major financial decision, especially when dealing remotely, and a trustworthy dealership should respect consumer rights. Instead, they’ve kept my money while providing zero service or product.

⚠️ My advice: Avoid this dealership if you value transparency, fair treatment, and your hard-earned money. There are many reputable dealers out there — sadly, CarHub London is NOT one of them.

Just bought a range rover Evoque off these guys and the vehicle is immaculate.
Full service history, all receipts for work undertaken. 3 months free warranty with car, but they do offer you an option to extend.
The place is a bit difficult to find, as it has residential properties around it, but well worth the effort to locate.
Salesman Ricky. Well what can I say bout him. Easily approachable, knowledgeable and will do everything possible to ensure you are completely satisfied and everything runs smoothly from the initial enquiry all the way to completion.
Would I use this dealership again. WITHOUT HESITATION.
Would I recommend this dealership. IN A HEARTBEAT.
Just a shame that I can't give them a higher rating, but if I was allowed I certainly would.

Recently purchased a Mercedes C Class from Harlow. Visited previous week and was handed the keys and told take your time. No issues with allowing us to test drive on our own. Followed up by a reasonable offer on trade in so deal done. Collected car following Saturday and it was fully valeted and spotless. This was by no means the high end value of their stock but car was professionally presented. Full service completed with paperwork. Had car independently checked this week at normal local garage and confirmed full service was done and no issues with the car. Honest discussion on trade in made transaction simple. Guys were very professional and very pleased with the new car. Would not hesitate doing business with CarHub again.

I found a stunning BMW on line and it looked perfect. I rang them and spoke too James (Owner) to confirmed that the car would have a New MOT, full service etc and there would be no issues.. Oh how wrong this was.
I drove up too see the car and the valet man had done an amazing job... It was stunning. I met Ricky their salesman that again said the car would serviced, MoT'd and ready to go.. I took it out for a test drive and it was amazing... Upon my visit we agreed a date for the car to be delivered.
Their delivery man was perfect and spot on ref his timings BUT... The car had not been serviced and I have asked on numerous times for a copy of the service that was done and this has never arrived.
I as asked to sign paperwork that stated I had been shown the car and shown all of the controls. That never happened. They said I had been taken through their "Warranty"... I never had... (Always read the T&C's as there was no way they had done even half of this !!). I refused to sign the paperwork as their were "Holes" all the way through these...
I asked for a copy of the new MOT as this was not in the paperwork. (I was told that they will send me a copy of this as it should have been there !!) I checked online and it showed that it had NOT been MOT'd as they promised. I put it through a MOT in my local garage and you guessed it... IT FAILED!!! I needed two new rear tyres... CarHub did send me down two new tyres but and had too get these installed (Yes, they did pay for this) but I could not drive the car for two weeks as it took this long for the tyres to arrive. Even then, the delivery company said they would deliver one day and 5 days later they arrived !!.
For some reason CarHub held onto the V5 for some 10 days (With no explanation and when chased they said it was what they did... I had not been told this at any time before!!) It is important to note emails were not replied too. When I asked why they were not replying to emails, I was told that their system deletes emails after 3 days... That is no excuse for not replying to a customers emails when they are no happy and explaining various issues that are wrong with a car that has just been delivered !!
On receipt of the car and my going through this, I found various things that just were not what you would expect from a garage that say that they only supply the best !!!.. (Car not serviced, MOT'd and various issues to include the fuel cap not locking !!)
I felt lied too and ignored after they had got their money.. Everything was a chore... Not a pleasurable experience.
I feel that Ricky their salesman felt I was an inconvenience and I had to chase and chase to get things done... The aftersales experience here was shocking and yes, they have some stunning cars but buying a car should be enjoyable and I cannot recommend this company due to lack of professionalism.
I will not be recommending this company to anyone that is looking for a car... If you want an easy transaction and great customer service... This is NOT the company to come too...

Well I seen a porsche 991.1 CARRERA S on their sight. I rang about the car and Riki was very informative. I left a deposit on the understanding subject to viewing and drive.Iwent up then to view on the weekend and Riki was very helpful and not pushy at all. He just left me to go right through the car then test drive. Showed me all the documents even agreed to do a porsche health check on the car before I collected. I was apprehensive about buying and not from the main dealer, yet all I can say is the car is spot on, as described. I wouldn't worry about buying a car from these guys

Absolute charlatans. Avoid at all costs. I had a vehicle all booked in for an inspection only to have them cancel the day before citing the car did not pass their inspection, and so they returned it to the seller. I was not even given the opportunity to inspect the car to make my own judgement.

Unfortunately, i was only notified by a single text the day before, which i did not see until the morning of the inspection. I only realised this after my inspector called to tell me the car had been sold. Note i said sold, not returned to seller. He'd driven 75 miles to the seller by this point though.

I asked for their inspection report but none could be provided. My inspector could also not see the vehicle as it had been apparently 'returned' to the seller.

In reality I'm sure Carhub, Harlow, sold the car from under me despite allowing me to arrange and pay for an inspection and also confirming they would not take viewings on it until after my inspection. CarHub Harlow would also not take a deposit to hold the car pending inspection when i asked to do this.

One reason I am sure it was sold is because my inspector saw the car driven back towards the dealer while he waited for me to confirm what was happening. Odd for a car that has been 'returned' to the seller.

Another reason is that when I viewed the car it had been fully valeted, alloy wheels restored, and 4 new tyres put on it. What dealer does this and then takes 82 pictures and posts them on autotrader, before confirming a car is mechanically sound.

Consequently, i was dubious about all this and called them. I was told the problems with communication were because 'Ricky' who i had dealt with, was new, only 2 months in the job and training. Funny how 'Ricky, was getting reviews last year on auto trader before he even started there. Something tells me the autotrader reviews may have been written by the afore mentioned 'Ricky'.

I could go on and on about the lies I have been fed today, but I'd be here all night. Suffice to say this company is on my blacklist and now also my vehicle inspectors blacklist.

I'm out of directly out of pocket by £200 and indirectly by £1400 due to dealings with these jokers.

As I said avoid.
