Bedding is awesome especially as I only totally rebed each fall. Love the deep litter method. And it only works exceptionally well with CC beding. Other beddings need to be replaced more often.... Voir plus

I have used this product before but…
I have used this product before but have not opened my new shipment yet! Wondering why Carolina coops comes from Iowa? Hmmm

Hi there! Thanks so much for the 4-star review! To clear up the mystery: our products actually don't come from Iowa, but rather Idaho—it's super easy to mix the two up! Our hemp was previously sourced from Canada, but we wanted to find a domestic farmer that shares our goal of delivering the absolute best product on the market. In 2025, we found an amazing farmer and manufacturer in Idaho, and all of our orders are now drop-shipped directly from them. We hope you love your new shipment!

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! We’re really glad to hear you’re enjoying the hemp bedding itself. We understand how the change in packaging and pricing could feel frustrating, and we’re sorry for that. Shipping costs have increased nationwide, but the bedding we offer now is more consistent in weight and more true in volume than before. We just split it into two 15 lb bags to make it easier for our customers to handle! We truly appreciate your feedback and your support — it helps us continue to provide the highest-quality bedding possible.
Twenty Star Bedding
Hands down this is the best bedding I have used in my coop. It stays dry, is easy to keep clean, and affords my chickens a healthy and happy environment. Twenty stars!

Best on the market
From the website to customer service to shipping our kit, the entire process was easy and professional. I’m retired with 40+ years building experience and can spot a well thought out product. You won’t find a better made coop kit especially this easy to assemble. I Highly recommend Carolina Coops.

Love this product from Carolina Coop
Love this product from Carolina Coop. Low dust and very absorbent hemp compared to using shavings. Fast delivery and packaging is done where I can repurpose. More importantly chickens love it.
