Great experience. Brought car up from the Midlands for basically free of charge. Car was as described and they paid the full part ex price with no haggling. Staff in the showroom were all fab and the hold process was seamless.

It was an ok experience- not brilliant. The guy that served us was nice and knew what he was doing. We got the usual push on over priced warranties which we didn’t take. We did get a decent car for a decent price. Which is what we went for.
We were not offered a drink or anything- fancy coffee machine all lit up in the corner- we asked for a drink and they said they had no beans 🤣🤣🤣

Sales person deliberately misleading people as they want commission on pcp deals. We did buy a car but because it wasn’t on his terms shocking service. Eyes were rolling because we didn’t go with what he wanted me to go with. Paid the £39 car transported to bishop and reserved, test drove and called them to say yes we want it but we’ll pay for it. Booked an appointment to find that the car was now back on sale before we even arrived to the appointment and they couldn’t find it when we l went. They said the car would be valeted before purchase but the same marks and bird muck was still on it from the day before. I would never uses these again

Last week my father submitted a review of carsa, which will be underneath my review as I have copied and pasted. I would like to update by saying that the sales manager called me the following day after my dad submitted his review, saying the refund for my v5 was processed through the week, and he actually asked me to take down the review my dad had written! I said I would speak to him about it but then a customer service query said the refund was processed on the 18th, meaning the sales manager at the Durham site had lied to me directly about it. The only reason the sales manager at Carsa Durham phoned me was because he wanted to save face, and it took 9 days, a customer service complaint and a 1 star review to get them to send me the £200 I should have got back much sooner. I have since told my father to keep the review up and I am submitting this review myself to warn you all of the dangers of this company.
Do not buy from these people as the conditions of the cars is horrible and the way that they lie to your face as a customer is even worse.
Having bought the last car from Carsa, a POLO GTi, and it having been flawless in operation we bought a 24 plate Golf GTD in white. Arrive at the depot and the car is in a dreadful state. Tar spots everywhere. I'm not talking about a few tar spots, every panel, rubber and window is coated in tar. I have photos and videos because no matter how bad you imagine it, it was worse. The windscreen had two nasty stone hits, and all the tools and puncture repair kit were missing. when we dragged the salesman out to look at it he was genuinely shocked at the state of it. fast forward 30 minutes and he and his manager came over and said they could fix it but we would have to come back in week, OR, we could take £200 off the car and get it done ourselves. The manager said to claim our windscreen insurance and get the car valeted. We had travelled down from Glasgow to Durham and changed over the insurance etc and so we buckled and said yes. Disgusting lack of respect to present the car like this. it clearly had not been touched or checked.
Then we had transferred the private plate off the polo and the V5 hadn't come back. They said they would transfer the £200 when they got the V5. I said I would send the original down the second we got and they said "no need, just email us it and we will put the car into trade and you will get the remaining months of road tax back and we will send the £200"
the v5 arrived a few days later and we emailed them and then after a few days of no £200 we called and they said we won't be paid until they get the V5, and denied saying just email it. So we sent it special delivery which cost £9.95! and they got it and signed for it on the 9th of September, and now on the 17th still no £200. so, CARSA are dreadful, filthy tar coated car with damaged windscreen and all the puncture kit stolen (the answer to that was to take the one out of out trade in, I kid you not!) and thet can't even refund the £200 we were coerced into taking for the state of it. Dishonest in the extreme.
we went back to CARSA as our first experience was good, but never again. I tried reaching out to their director Mike Hawkins on Linked in, but he has ignored it and not responded at all.
so do yourself a favour and never buy a car from this mob if you can avoid it, and if you do buy, demand a walkround close up video.
if anyone from CARSA wants to see the pictures and videos of what I collected, feel free to respond and I'll send them.

Travelled down from Scotland to pick the car up, spent 3hrs in the showroom dealing with paperwork, felt most of that could have been done beforehand leaving just final documents to be signed. Also Carsa main office is in Southampton, trying to ask questions just felt distanced.

Went to Durham branch today, few issues with the car, the branch we’re accommodating eventually.. The branch manager didn’t authorise any fuel with the vehicle so left the branch with 27 miles in the tank.. that being said the sales executive was trying to get it filled up for me. Her name was ruby and she was excellent and would recommend dealing with her.
