reserved a car via the hessel(hull)branch, got a call next morning from a Lewis, was very good and professional no hassle got it sorted very quickly , no long debates about buying other products which i found refreshing, car was ready for me to pick up 2 days later, dealt with a girl Shannon she was great we did a test drive, then i had a good look around the vehicle while she sorted the paperwork after a further 20mins we where done, all in all was excellent

I recently purchased a [car make/model/year from Car Supermarket Birmingham and couldn't be happier with the experience.

From start to finish, the service was excellent. Unlike other dealerships I've visited, there was no pushy sales pressure whatsoever – the team simply listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the right car at a competitive price.

What stood out:

terrible customer service ,our car developed a fault within 5 weeks of purchase ,advised to take it back to the service dept ,they ran tests and confirmed it was a turbo fault ,we have sent emails and rang on numerous occasions for a update ,no body responds to emails and your kept waiting for 35 mins plus each time you ring ,it has been over 3 weeks now and we have no clue as to what is happening with our car .Their customer service is terrible ,they obviously dont care once you have purchased a vehicle ,we will certainly never use these cowboys again and suggest that no body else does .useless care from them .

My experience here was great, picked a car went and had a look inside and started it up. One main thing i liked is the staff dont come and hound you on the forecourt they wait for you to come inside to them! Brilliant service by John. He went above and beyond.

I enquired about an Audi A1 a couple of weeks ago and dealt with Max. Max was fairly helpful and the car was transferred to the Preston branch for me to view yesterday.

Unfortunately, the car had several dents, stone chips all over the bonnet and chips along the side. It also had a filthy parcel shelf which, once pointed out, was re-sprayed, although this still didn’t improve its appearance. When we raised the dents and chips, we were simply told, “well, it is a used car.”

The sales representative we dealt with was extremely rude and dismissive. I didn’t get his name, but when we raised our concerns, we were told that we could always “take the car and go sell it somewhere else.” The whole interaction was uncomfortable and completely unprofessional.

I was also part exchanging my current car. After inspecting it, the salesperson stated that it had definitely been crashed previously as it was “full of filler and paint” and reduced the part-exchange value by £1,000 on that basis. There was no visible damage to support this claim, and I was given no explanation or evidence of what they were referring to. I subsequently took the same car to another dealer, who did not agree with this assessment.

In the end, I decided not to go ahead with the purchase. I’m glad I didn’t, as the whole experience left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and I wouldn’t purchase a car from this company in the future.

Instead, I went back to Arnold Clark, where the experience was completely different. They were helpful, professional and talked me through everything thoroughly, allowing me to make an informed decision.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Car Supermarket and would advise others to think carefully before purchasing from them.

paid the admin fee /deposit was told if i didnt like the car i get full refund didnt like the car havnt got a refund after two weeks hard to get intouch with anyone i cant see a problem just pay the money back into my bank i am going to take further action and i will give very bad reviews everywhere no way will i ever use this company ever there hopeless

CarSupermarket.com Stoke were great because Jack Reily was great, so knowledgeable and not just on the vehicles that I was interested in. Jack was not pushy and very accomadating, very polite ,very professional. The one thing that makes Jack stand out from the typical car salesman is that he listens. First questions what are you looking for and why.
Jack went the extra mile nothing was to much trouble.
Even when I used the 14 day returns policy, still no change in his attitude still nothing was to much trouble.
I would recommend CarSupermarket and particularly Jack Reily to one and all.

I got a call back from an online enquiry within 30 minutes, was able to book a test drive the following day and was able to pick up the car 3 days later. The purchase process, including the test drive took under an hour and the handover around 45 minutes.

From seeing the car online to receiving it at my home everyone was brilliant, helpful and informative, Nyall, the sales person, the driver who delivered my car and Barnsley garage. Exceptional service. I would definitely recommend them to family & friends.
