Have been a customer of Catch Fitness…

Have been a customer of Catch Fitness for years now and never had any issues with the quality of their products until now.

My last purchase, COMMERCIAL MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SMITH MACHINE POWER RACK WITH PEC FLY’ is so disappointing but what is worse is that i reached out to catch about the quality and problems with the machine and NEVER heard back.

The pec fly is at a level which it is completely unusable, so instead it just takes up space within the rack. I contacted Catch about which j hooks to purchase as my 3 x 3 hooks did not fit. The response after over a week was 'i think CATCH Pro J Hook Pair in size 75x75 would fit the machine you bought'. They 'THINK' the $300 hooks should fit.

The Smith Machine, a feature i was excited to be upgrading to, is also underwhelming. It sits up so high you can't perform most standard exercises from it.

All in all, i am beyond disappointed in Catch Fitness and will not be looking to purchase from them again.

It's a shame to have to write a poor review in order for them to respond but with other avenues exhausted i am left with no other choice.

Goodbye from a longstanding customer

I have been a longstanding customer of Catch Fitness and spent thousands with them. However my recent experience was less than impressive.
The communication on my order was delayed, and then incorrect, and then non existent until I repeatedly followed up.
After paying close to $700 for shipping, it took 5 or more weeks to be dispatched, and then when it arrived I found out that a key piece of equipment had not been sent and they were just going to issue me a refund for the item (not a portion of the shipping costs). It would have been really nice to have been contacted when they realised they didn't have stock and asked if there was an alternate so I could keep my shipping bundled together and efficient.
I found one of the items I ordered (Hex Bar) to also be of really cheap quality - very much doubt it could hold more than 180kg without snapping in half - very disappointed.
Unfortunately this is my goodbye to Catch Fitness - I won't be spending another dollar with them.

Ordered products - no customer service.

Ordered products. Was sent a shipping confirmation. Then an apology that my products hadn’t shipped. Then nothing. I contact asking where my products are. No response. Then contact again. No response.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Made a big order for equipment in January 2023 including the insane amount for shipping. Only part of our order arrived, with responses to emails asking for an update only stating they don't know when more of these items will be in stock. After having no response to emails, a phone line that's disconnected and multiple people highlighting the same experience I reported Catch Fitness to the ACCC, NSW Fair Trading, Scamwatch, Zendesk. The site is still operational, still taking innocent people's money, offering goods and services which won't be fulfilled.
After reporting to the above bodies and reviewing the company on productreview.com.au I was promised the full refund "by no later than 30th September." and "will also receive a gift in the coming weeks".
It is now the 14th October and still no refund or gift, and no longer responding to emails.

Ordered a few items to be delivered to Melbourne Metro area. Catch advertise shipment within 24 hours. The next day I received a shipment confirmation email, to only receive a further notification stating "Our system has incorrectly automatically updated as delivered and sent notification". Since then (now going into week 3) , there has been no delivery. I have emailed Catch multiple times with the Order number and have had no response.

Avoid at all costs - no address no phone number - ghosts

My partner placed an order with catch, she specifically only ordered items in stock so i could pick them up right away. I didnt hear from them, i tried calling- - number disconnected.
I tried to visit their warehouse in person - they have closed down. Ive had one email in 3 weeks saying we are 'moving please be patient'. Ive since replied and havent heard back. No address, no contact number, just a generic email.
These scumbags are fleecing people in broad daylight. I suggest filing complaints and reports ASAP, including contacting your bank to dispute the transaction. There is no place for criminals operating retail businesses in this country. These scumbags will learn the hard way.
If anyone from Catch is going to respond and pretend like theyre going to help, my invoice number is #38541 but you already knew that didnt you. Since posting this review they have contacted me to take the review down. I will not. The public deserves to know the truth about dodgy businesses.

Scammers

Offices have closed and they aren't returning calls. Fully suspect we won't see our money or a product. Definitely stay away from this mob.

Misleading and evasive

Took payment, told order would be delayed, was delayed twice blaming manufacturing in China. Then a further delay because order wasn't placed properly by catch in the first place. Agreed to a full refund which I had to chase for 4 months and needed to get office of Fair trading involved as well as Humm. This place is going down the drain and will probably take everyone's money with them. Do not order anything off them.

Poor communication and constant delays

Made a rather large purchase during the 2022 Black Friday sales. Items that were in stock were sent following some ordering issues but still waiting on the dumbell package and pulley attachments that were due in March, no April, no May, perhaps June, maybe July? They don't seem to know. Excuse always seemed to be container delays. Cars get shipped here quicker. Start of June I asked to confirm if they had actually been ordered and for a refund. No response. Company stopped posting to socials. Clearly going under. Do not order from.

Pre-Order not received and No refund

Our small business ordered a Smith Machine as a pre order on 22nd of August 2022. Due to be delivered Sept 22, then Dec 22, then April 2023. After contact with Catch for the 10th or so time to find out about the order we asked for a refund late April. We were informed that catch would refund us the $3400 at their earliest convenience, and to wait as there were others also...... ! It is now the 27th June 2023 and we still have not received a refund, phone lines are down and emails and messages to Catch fitness get ignored. We are so disappointed as we supported Catch previously with over 20k in orders to keep local. Stay away!

Great product and price 🙂

I was offered a special discount on a plyo box. Everywhere else was minimally $100 more expensive. I am very have with the product and quality. Please open a store In Tas 🙂
