You are able to return products to us free of charge, however if you would like to use our collection service we do charge for this. This is offered for your convenience, if you would like to return using your own recorded courier you are welcome and our returns information is available here: https://www.catering24.co.uk/returns We will look into the WhatsApp message, however due to WhatsApp business rules if your message comes out of hours for example over the weekend it won't allow us to respond if after 24 hours. More importantly, she arranged for future invoices to be sent electronically to us so that we save on paper and time.

Orders sometimes don’t get dispatched
We have used Catering24 for just over a year and for the most part they provide the products on time. But every now and again for some unknown reason they forget to send the items delaying it by a day, which if it was a one off you could understand but when it’s roughly 20% of all orders - this is not okay.
After speaking to their team numerous times about previous orders that just never turned up, or an email that never arrived to say it has dispatched they always sent it the next working day instead. No compensation and sometimes not even a sorry.
But when this happens on a Friday for delivery Saturday - it will not be received until the Tuesday, which is far too slow for most fast moving takeaways.
I really have tried to move on from the bad experiences but it has just happened again - and will now have to find a new supplier.

Hi Robb, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I'm sorry to hear your experience has not been to our expectations.
Our current dispatch record over 2022 has been 99.7% on time, for the area you are based we deliver to you via DPD. DPD record for delivery has been 98% on time (this is excluding customers not in, wrong addresses provided etc), I realise this is on our whole account with DPD and may not reflect your local area as its an average across the UK.
I've checked your orders and can see the last order was processed online for delivery 6th January and not 5th January, we currrently offer the ability to order up to 6 working days in advance. The only time there would be a discrepancy would be if your order is being placed at 7pm, for example you select a date at 6.59pm, but don't pay until 7:01pm then we would auto update the order to the next working day, which I can see did happen on a previous order in 2022 and you weren't informed of this, my apologies. Nevertheless, I realise this explaination may not be your own experience with us and I apologies we will endeavour to improve. I have given this feedback to our IT/Ecommerce team to see how we can improve delivery day notification during our checkout so you are informed. Whilst we can never guarantee next day delivery or the day your have selected we work hard to meet those expectations to all customers.

5 star shout out to Lynnette in the customer service team. Super personable and professional when helping me with a problem with my order. Remedied the issue and would prefer to order from catering24 over other companies in the future just because of the great customer service.
