Cats won’t touch the stuff and months…

Cats won’t touch the stuff and months later they took $70 out of my account at 3am. They don’t take calls and texts and emails take 24 to 48hrs for response.
That’s very shifty customer service. It means you can cancel an order even if you were up at 3am when they snatched the money. I’m a senior on SS retirement and $70 is no small matter for me!

I received my refund the next day so my annoyance is considerably abated. They told me donate the order since it couldn’t be cancelled so I’ve made arrangements to send it to FLATBUSH CATS, so that’s good also. All in all I now give them a 4 out of 5. The food actually looks good enough for a human to eat but y’know…cats. They ate some of the very first serving but I ended up throwing out the rest. One wiff and they’d both walk away. Oh well.

This company refuses to deal with…

This company refuses to deal with returns or communicate. MY CAT REFUSED ALL FOOD. I have been trying to get a return label for weeks…DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I am calling better business . They will not show this review I am sure.!! Horrible customer service!!!

Not This Time

I love the Cat Person company marketing. I feel their genuineness for the love of cats. They shipped my food quickly. The food was as described. The bottom line is that my cat did not like any it. I got six different flavors. My dog won't even eat the leftover. It was very expensive but I thought I would give it a shot. I'm out $60 for six containers. (Which I could barely afford in the first place). I will use the unused food with my feral cats in the neighborhood.

We all want what is best for our cats

We all want what is best for our cats. I feel this is an extremely accurate statement, otherwise why would you have a furry friend in the first place?

We currently have one fur baby. His name is Jade. And he is, by far, one of THE MOST FINIKY cats to ever grace our home. He has been a part of our family for 10 years and it never ceases to amaze us just how fussy he can be when it comes to his food. He is obviously a bit of an older cat, but still overly playful and immensely loving. We have recently had to change him over from dry food to wet food as he has lost most of his teeth. He is still able to eat dry food, but wet food is a much more viable option when it comes to feeding time.

We have literally tried EVERY wet food brand there is, from the cheap and inexpensive to the egregiously overpriced. And I have to say that this food has been a home run for him (and us!). He used to pick at what I fed him, licking up the juice and leaving the rest to dry out and turn into hard lumps, which then had to be discarded. Cat Person Pate is his go-to food now, and when it comes time to be fed, he knows it's coming and won't leave me alone until it is in his bowl. I couldn't be happier with this brand of food. The 2.75 oz. cups are the perfect size, and what he doesn't eat when he is first fed, he finishes usually within a couple of hours. No waste!

I believe the price to be right on point. At first, I wasn't sure. I can buy 24 cans of Friskies for about $30 depending on where I get it. This is 30 servings for about $50. Yes, it is a bit more expensive, but in my honest opinion, certainly worth the extra cost, as again, all of it is consumed.

I will continue to buy this cat food, as I maintain it is a very good value and most importantly, my cat simply loves it. I couldn't be happier!

made my cat sick.

i was buying this for my cat, THINKING it’d be healthier for her. since the prices are high for a very small bag… nope. she had many skin problems, she was always puking, it was the food. went to walmart and got something for sensitive skin & she’s healed. hasn’t gotten sick. hasn’t had any skin problems. nothing. don’t buy.

Good food and great customer service

We have been feeding our Billi Cat Person food for several years now. Our finicky cat really likes this brand.

This past week I made a mistake in my order and forget to order the Shreds and instead ordered all pates. When I tried to change the order, it was already in the fulfillment process.

However, after writing to the company, they totally took care of me and our Shreds are now on the way.

I really appreciated the quick and gracious response. In this internet world of shopping, it's good to know that real people are there and are available to resolve the occasional error of our ways.

Really great customer service... Emma replied to our query, helped us to resolve the issue, and was overall kind, friendly and helpful, now we just have to convince the cats that they won't miss the canned cat food!

My cat LOVES the fish based wet shreds!

My cat has eaten dry Fromm for 10 years and we just moved to the desert so I was worried about her getting dehydrated and started reading about incorporating wet food into her diet. She is usually very picky but LOVES the smell of seafood when I'm cooking, so I tried the fish based wet shreds first. I tried to follow the transition guide, but my cat was so obsessed with the Cat Person shreds that she was completely ignoring her dry kibble. She's now eating both, but in separate bowls because... well.. she's a cat who knows what she wants ahah.

She has now tried a variety of the flavors but she isn't as into the beef or poultry flavors. Yes CP is definitely much more expensive than the dry Fromm I was feeding her exclusively before, but the comfort that knowing that 1/3-2/3 of her daily diet now involves more moisture and such high quality protein is all together much more valuable than the cost of the food.

Cat won't touch it with a 10 ft pole

I was very excited about this food as I'd been looking for a good, healthy wet food which is near impossible to find. This was pricy, but I thought it was worth it.

Incorrect. My girl, who is an absolute FIEND for wet food, will not touch this stuff. I tried every variety in the starter box and she won't even go near it. So, back to the drawing board...

Great food for your cat’s health and wonderful customer service

When I got him, my young cat had terrible digestive issues with extreme constipation. After spending a week at the vet, the problem was under control but he needed special food to keep it under control. He hated the food and refused to eat it. I researched healthy cat foods and he hated the first two brands that I tried. Three months ago, I tried Cat Person and everything has changed for the better. He absolutely loves it and his digestion could not be better. He comes running for his food and he is so much happier. His fur is improving greatly and he will now roll over and let me pet his stomach. I buy him all of the flavors of their wet food and all of the flavors of the goodness blends. He and his sister have never been in better shape. The customer service is excellent, too. One of my shipments never arrived and Elaine from customer service helped me solve the problem right away. She was very nice and helpful.

Cat Person is a newer enthusiastic company

Cat Person is a newer food company, but you can tell it is run by passionate cat lovers. They have done their research on the foods cat get the most benefits from, and they offer a lot of options. It has kept my 14 year old cat happy and healthy. She may be 7.5lbs but never misses a meal! The box that the food is delivered in turns into a fun cat play box which both my cats enjoy and one has started hording toys in it. 😹 I will say as shipping can be unreliable at times, for over a year it has consistently been 4-6 days (NOT business days) from the order date to delivery day, which isn't too bad once you get the timing down on your cats feeding schedule. They also have an option to ship via UPS. Their customer service is responsive and actually tries to help resolve issues. A company run by real cat lovers here in the US. Be patient and show a little love. 😻

My daughter has 3 cats

My daughter has 3 cats and has been serving up this quality food to her cats for about a year now. Their coats are shiny, they have great energy and are very healthy (they didn't start out this way, they were all adopted).
Sent my daughter toys and treats from Cat Person, they were quite the hit! Great customer service. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Poor/Inconsistent Quality

Their product quality seems highly inconsistent. Our cats really enjoyed the first delivery and we looked forward to the second. When it arrived (late), our cats wouldn't go near any of the variety we chose for a few days. We found large fish bones in some of the containers. Most worryingly, our otherwise healthy cat vomited at least 15 times after eating the chicken shreds in broth. We really wanted to like Catperson but it's not worth the risk.

Wow! I’m sold!

My cats have rejected their wet food ever since they were tiny feral kittens. The only food they wanted to eat was MY tuna fish. I just got my first order from Car Person today, and…holy smokes! When I put their dishes down, there was sort of a humming, purring, vacuum noise…and the food was gone! Cora and Ella reacted the same way to their new crunchy food. To say that I’m thrilled is putting it mildly. There will be nothing but Cat Person food from now on.

Better for your peanut than most of the rest

I am a new cat mom and I have been trying multiple kinds of cat food to find the healthiest that my peanut will like. I have realized that there are 2 ways to rate them...How much I like it (good & responsibly sourced ingredients, cost, sustainable & convenient packaging, etc.) and then how much my Willow likes it, which is obviously far more important. So first off, I like the recipe and variety of this company better than the others I have tried so far. The containers are not biodegradable, which is a big deal to me but, in all fairness, I haven't found a single one that is fully biodegradable and these are easier to open/deal with than some of the others. Willow likes the food ok. She doesn't go bananas for them but she eats all of it. I really like the moisture content as well. I think it's good to have a few foods in the rotation so this and Smalls are the 2 that I am rotating now.

I can honestly say I love this box as much as my cat.

I can honestly say I love this box as much as my cat loves the box, both as a toy and the food included. This is only my second box after the initial intro offer and my cat absolutely loved the dry food(chicken and turkey) even more than the wet food. To me that’s insane, my cat used to loathe when I got the dry food bad out lol. Today I received my order and my cat knew it was for her it seems. When I took out the new dry food bag she instantly recognized it, she ran straight to her feeding area waiting for me. This time I got Salmon and Tuna in dry, she seems to enjoy it just as much as the other flavor; she’s more excited for it than the wet food. She likes the wet food as well, in this case and as well as other brands she prefers the shreds more than the pate. I plan to change the flavors each month just to figure out what my cat likes and dislikes. I did a quick calculation in my head at $30 a month, it’s on par with me buying her monthly food at a retail/grocery store. The box is a cat toy, my cat was entertained for days with it. Overall I highly recommend.

EARTH to Cat Person, come in PLEASE

These folks may or may NOT have a decent item to sell BUT unfortunately I'm guessing I'll never KNOW as in spite of the fact I've made NUMEROUS attempts to purchase what I WANT, they apparently are NOT in a position to "accommodate". Want to order what they refer to as a "Starter Box". Seems SIMPLE enough. HOWEVER, they want me to complete an online "quiz" complete with asking for my pets NAME? REALLY? Don't have the time or temperament for this silliness. If they can't simply offer up product in a quick and efficient (TIME saving) manner, there are OTHERS who can. VERY disappointing.............

Good food; unreliable company.

I've placed three orders from Cat Person so far. The product is great. However, the service and delivery are really bad. Out of the three orders I've placed so far, one arrived with damaged product, one wasn't sent according to the posted subscription schedule (and without notice of the delay), and one was marked as "delivered" but never showed up. The company has done nothing to make up for the poor experiences; they merely offer cheerful excuses. And yet their competitors seem to be able to deliver on their promises without a hitch. Am planning to switch as soon as I find a suitable alternative.
