The drivers (esp Steve) are always polite and helpful, but i want to champion the unsung heroes in the Customer Service Team. Pauline, Olly and Stephen have dug us out of a hole several times in the last few weeks and they are fantastic. Always prepared to find a way to get a booking in and keep everything going as smoothly as possible, even when asked well into the afternoon with no notice - we really value all that they do

The driver was great - the rest was a shambles
The driver was great - what follows does not reflect on him as he was very polite and helpful.
The service by CDSW was shoddy at best, probably more accurate to call it incompetent. I had to chase them 3 x times during the day. Nobody seemed to have a clue what was going on during the day and I was left just hanging on a vague promise that it would be there by 1600hrs and it wasn't - total bloody shambles.
Having waited over 8 hours the delivery arrived in the dark,

We acknowledge your comments regarding the service yesterday, and sincerely apologise if you feel this was below standard- however all our teams worked very hard yesterday (21/11/2024) to get deliveries completed, despite the yellow weather warning issued for snowy conditions across the South West.

Our teams were up against snow and icy road conditions, abandoned vehicles, road closures and traffic delays as a result of the adverse weather yesterday but despite this our driver still managed to get your goods to you on the planned delivery date, without having to reschedule.
Your consignment was booked as a standard 09.00-17.00 delivery slot, and whilst an ETA of by 16:00 was provided - this is an estimate as all routes were significantly delayed due to the weather which was explained when you spoke to our Customer Services Team yesterday afternoon.
We hope you can understand that these delays were out of our control and despite the circumstances our driver and teams did all they could to deliver as quickly as possible yesterday, but safety was our number one priority.

Ben - Friendly and safe
Ben delivered a pallet of tiles earlier today. He was courteous and pleasant to deal with. He was very helpful in getting the pallet as close to where it needed to go as possible, and I found his attention to detail with regards to safety very good. He noticed some manholes to an underground water tank and flagged the risk of the truck getting to close to these to avoid any possible damage. Thanks Ben!

This is how bulk deliveries should. Ben turned up with lifting equipment that worked (yes, some companies don't bother.....) and left the heavy pallets where we wanted them on the drive with no fuss. Could not have been better.

Helpful delivery
Malcolm from C&D South West was very pleasant and cheerful - considering the company (World of Pots) hadn’t passed to him the detailed delivery instructions we had provided as requested (this wasn’t helpful for him as our location is rural). Despite that he delivered a rather large pot for us with good grace. Thank you.

Delivery of logs
We had a delivery of dried logs for our log wood burner.
Ben the delivery person was very helpful and professional.
He managed to get the 1 ton great into the garage.

Just had a great wood pellet delivery by Ben. We live down a track that lots of drivers mutter about, but Ben got on with the job and even unloaded the pallet right by the door with a cheery smile. Thank you!
