I was very disappointed yesterday, shopped in your store and my 37 week pregnant daughter asked if she could use your bathroom and was just told “NO”. Your staff are rude and insensitive. Will never shop there again.I wish I could give zero stars.

I don’t support openly discriminatory businesses! Such as Centra, Newcastle Galway.

I have no issue hiring immigrants, problem is when you ONLY hire them which you clearly do here & all from the same region too.

With all the young Irish who’d love some work too, simply disgusting! Owner should be ashamed of yourself for facilitating this replacement.

Absolutely terrible experience at Centra’s automatic car wash in Greystones, Ireland. The machine **snapped the cover off my mum’s petrol tank**, causing damage that should never happen from a basic car wash service. There was clearly something wrong with the equipment or how it was operating.

To make things worse, when we spoke to a staff member, she told us **we needed to come back tomorrow** instead of helping resolve the issue there and then. My mum asked if the manager could call her, and the staff member said yes — **but also said he might forget to call**, which is completely unacceptable customer service. She also said *“we have never seen this before,”* which did nothing to help the situation or take responsibility for what happened.

A car wash is supposed to clean your car — not damage it and then leave customers chasing staff for help. We’re now left dealing with the damage and no proper support.

I can only give one star, but honestly this deserves **zero stars**. I would not recommend using this car wash unless you want to risk damage to your vehicle.

Very disappointed with my experience today n Centra in Clane. I ordered two Mood ice creams (€3.90 each) and was shocked at how small they were the cups were only half filled. When I questioned it, I was told “that’s the size,” which is just not acceptable for the price.
The staff also didn’t seem to know what the product was on the list of options they had up, had to check a book, and still weren’t sure until asking a colleague. Overall, poor value and poor service.
I tried to support a local business instead of going elsewhere, but after this experience, I won’t be returning.

Centra kilmacthomas has a great range of products and prices are competitive.
Despite these positives there is one huge negative... customer service.
There are quite a few female shop assistants who leave a lot to be desired when it comes to customer service, poor communication skills and a poor attitude towards customers.
I feel that attitude comes from top down. Maybe training on customer relations would improve things.

prior to this week, i purchased centra’s “finest” custard doughnuts. when you read the label custard, you must expect delicious delicate custard filled doughnuts. well that’s what i did anyway, and oh boy there’s were far from custard filled! this was an absolute disgrace, i am on a strict diet where i only get one cheat meal a month and i chose these doughnuts and i cried for a week because of how absurd they were. these “doughnuts” were no more then a soggy bundle of sadness. baby food would honestly put these doughnuts to shame. if you are ever craving a sweet treat, DO NOT BUY THE CUSTARD DOUGHNUTS!

Centra is convenient and easy to find, especially for quick essentials or snacks. Stores are generally clean and opening hours are handy, which is a big plus.

That said, prices can be on the high side and the experience really depends on the individual store — some are better run than others. Product range is fine but not particularly exciting, and service can be hit or miss.

Overall, it does the job when you’re in a hurry, but there’s room for improvement.

Very standard selection of food not much variety, but high prices, 6.50 for a small ham and carbonara

Discraseful pricing. I reckon the most expencive shop in Ballincollig.
E2.45 for a standard bar of cadburys chocolate. E1.85 in Tesco. Juzt an example. Prices right through thexstor are expencive. No one can justify that price differance ,

I payed 4.75 euro for a two inch ice cream

The homemade pizzas are gone absolutely miserable with very few toppings compared to how they normally are and would never buy again now after seeing how miserly they are gone with the toppings,5 small pieces of pepperoni on a 12 inch pizza compared to over 20 pieces before absolute greed at its finest!!

The price for an ice cream a tiny tub absolute joke and the staff the girls are not a bit nice wont be back!!

A disaster. Tims Table in it is never good to go in the morning when the doors open. I ask them for 4 Chicken rolls at 8am and they tried to send me away with the statement: We have nothing ready for it. Mostly elderly ladies on the tills they like more conversations than workspeed. Doesnt matter to them how busy the shop.or people are. I go never there.

Centra carrigtwohill. My name is Michael Doyle and I was not satisfied with my customer service today in store. I was ordering a hot chicken fillet baguette roll at the deli, upon ordering the woman serving me said she will be back in 2 seconds and left me stranded on my lonesome. When she came back to the deli counter she started serving another appreciative customer as if I was not a respectable paying patron of the store. I had to get back in the queue once again as if I wasn’t already in the queue waiting to be served before I was left stranded and when I was being served for the second time I asked for 2 chicken rolls and was made one. Upon correction of this honest mistake she threw the perfectly fine chicken roll in the bin. I am very environmentally aware and I acknowledge that this is bad for the environment and that food waste is bad. After about 10 minutes of going back and forth about this, I finally got my chicken roll and in all fairness it was nice. 👍
