Not a very warm welcome from staff
Not a very warm welcome from staff, were not offered a cup of tea . When my father was collected 2 women arrived who were not strong enough to carry him . They dropped him on the stairs then needed my husband’s help to get him in the back of the van .All in all not a professional service .

Wellings handled the arrangements for my mother's funeral with the utmost professionalism, respect and care. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole team made sure that the build up to and the service itself ran like clockwork. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We could not fault our experience from beginning to end with you at the coop for my sons funeral, we were amazed at just how beautiful it was & how gracefully you performed it with such tender loving care so much so my daughter went back to Australia & tried to get a job at a funeral directors being the caring person she is.

Good service .
Martina managed to have the perfect tone in communication- she was efficient and informative, caring but not OTT.
Everything went as planned on the day and she kept us informed beforehand. All the bearers looked smart and the funeral director was again good on running through details beforehand to check everything was as we wanted and expected

Smooth and sympathetic
All contact - with the regional central point and the local branch - went smoothly, rapidly and sympathetically from start to finish. All staff involved went out of their way to fit in with what we wanted and our availability.

We did have to work out times…
We did have to work out times to visit and pick up ashes luckerly the lady did put herself out to do this for us shame you didn't have longer opening times otherwise all good

The staff were all lovely and kept me…
The staff were all lovely and kept me informed throughout. (Sandra and Naz particularly. Leslie filled in well for Sandra when she was off also) and the recommendation of Neil the celebrant was the best advice, he was absolutely brilliant, the best ever! At the celebration of life afterwards, about five people came up to me and said it was the best funeral they’d ever been to, which speaks volumes. I’d definitely recommend the Co op Funeral Care in Blaby to others. And you get Co op points too! 😊 Thank you x
