When my old CentraLite lighting system was struck by lightning last year, I had no luck finding a local vendor, electrician who could fix the problem until I fortunately discovered Kyser Smart Homes, Inc. Steven Kyser came over promptly & diagnosed the issue & appropriately recommended that the system needed to be replaced with an upgraded one including latest versions of keypads that could resist lightning damage. Once approved by our insurance company we finally got the ball rolling . Let me say that Steve ( company president) & Ashley (his assistant) are by far the most caring, courteous and professional team you can ever work with. As a physician, I have a difficult work schedule, but this team accommodated my needs, last minute scheduling changes without even blinking and I am so grateful for that. Steve, who is the diagnostics genius & also has a heart of gold , was so caring, that he completed the entire project from start to finish himself to ensure that my family was not without lights for even a single night. He went above & beyond to show his support for my project, my family & put his heart & soul into it, paying attention to every detail to achieve perfection as if it were his own home. He even found a preexisting concerning electrical issue up in the attic & fixed it at a reasonable cost. The upgraded CentraLite System is running smoothly & we love the new keypads. I absolutely trust this company and will be calling them back to install some lighting fixtures & landscape lighting for my home. Thank you Steve & Ashley for being a God send & absolute angels. Would highly recommend this company for your lighting and home automation needs. They are simply the best!

Sent the gear back they charged us $2500 for.. there are 5 other vendors out there doing Centralite programming and upgrades for a quarter of what this guy is charging, do yourself a favor, do some research first and call someone else.

After searching high and low for a smart home lighting specialist we were overjoyed to find CentraLite Pros/Kyser Smart Homes. Steve is an absolute genius in diagnosing problems and fixing them quickly (and reasonably). The customer service (Ashley) and professionalism exceeded every expectation. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our $3+ million dollar smart home. We have had them back for additional automation work (pool, cameras, outside lights) since. Simply the best.

Steven and Ashley at Centralite Pros and Kyser Smart Homes built and installed an amazing lighting system in our home! The service and support we had from Steven and Ashley at Kyser Smart Homes was exceptional. Knowing that the support is lifelong is amazing as well. We look forward to doing another project with this team very soon. The product and installation were more than first-rate, and we enjoy our lighting system every day. The one challenge is that we live in Hawaii. Steven and Ashley rose to that challenge and were able to overcome this to get our product to us and install it in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has lighting or smart home challenges or needs.

I was in a similar position as other reviewers in that I have a Centralite system with no help from the Manufacturer that is out of business and no local electricians would touch it. My issue was fairly simple…the contacts in one of my keypads had broken/worn out and I merely needed to replace it. Steven and Ashley provided excellent service with prompt responses and were knowledgeable about the system. I am in the northwest, so I was hoping I could just order the part and install it myself. Both Steven and Ashley were patient with all my questions and with Steven’s guidance with connecting the wires to the right posts, I was back in business. I will like order more keypads in case I have more break. I highly recommend these folks. John

We purchased our dream home that was a foreclosure in 2015 unfortunately unaware that the Centralite system was inoperable after many many phone calls and a lot of tears, we found Kyser Smart Homes, Stephen and Ashely have been such a blessing to our family, they have gone above and beyond, guiding us through so many different obstacles, he is very knowledgeable about his craft , does exceptional work and really truly cares about his clients. Ashley is very prompt to responding to emails (I sent a-lot) or phone calls and is always so polite and reassuring. I would highly recommend Kyser without hesitation, they have truly been a God send to me and my family and I am forever grateful on what they have done for us.

We have a very large and complex CentraLite system. Our old vendor went out of business and left us high and dry. Kyser Smart Homes jumped right in and saved the day!! They are fast, courteous and very proficient. Steven is a true professional, he knows CentraLite like no other. He fix several major issues with our programming, and one of the processors and some other components. We later made some really nice upgrades to the system and have been enjoying trouble free service with KSH. As an Estate Manager, I have worked with dozens of vendors, and I highly recommend KSH in every way, they are the best!

Several years ago we had a problem on Centralite lighting system and no one could help us when Centralite stopped supporting existing users. I looked around on the internet and finally found Steven Kyser's company and called him for support. Steven explained my options with his company. Reluctantly I removed my controllers under his direction and installed the new Kyser modules. It was really easy to do and Kyser helped me through the whole installation. Their continued support is amazing... I am very tough on suppliers and Kyser Smarthomes has excelled in every area---Steven is amazing!!

We have been a customer of Kyser Smart Homes (KSH or Centralite Pros)for more than 2 years. During that time, we have found Kyser to be excellent to work with based on their expertise, innovation, customer support and overall excellence as a small owner-operated business.
We bought our home 3 years ago knowing that it needed a lot of TLC related to its existing Centralite lighting system. The system had not been maintained or updated in 20 years. More than half of our 425+lights did not work and many of the wall switches also did not function and we were increasingly anxious about the lighting system. In addition, our audio system was a mess.
Steven Kyser gave us an estimate based on photos and descriptions of the system and we scheduled for him to take on the work. Given the poor condition of the Centralite system this was an extensive job.
Steven told us that by the time he left everything would be working correctly and would even be improved over the original system. He was true to his word. All 425+ lights were brought on, we switched out halogen lights for LEDs and Scenes were set up for turning lights on and off and for light intensity. In addition, the system was set up for control by smart phone and tablet.
Our outmoded audio system was replaced with a system that allows us to play music on multiple (12) zones throughout the home controlled by our smart phones and tablets.
Innovations Steven developed include surge protectors for low voltage surges and new wall switches that not only work and look better than the originals but also can easily be read at night. We went on to have KSH design and install landscape lighting for our large and complex property and integrate our pool equipment, both for control by our smart phones and tablets.
Kyser Smart Home service is outstanding. Steven returns calls quickly and resolves virtually all problems over the phone. Most of the return calls are within 20 minutes or less. Ashley ensures that activities like billing and work and product scheduling are very well run.
KSH is truly an extremely well-run business. Billing is always known in advance and is always accurate and product deliveries are scheduled so that we will be at home to receive deliveries.
We highly recommend KSH.

This company has been overwhelmingly responsive to our needs. Our home and property were damaged by Hurricane Ian. Following extended power outages, we discovered that our Centralite system was inoperable. It was assumed to be the result of "dirty" power from generator usage. We were unable to find a local company to service our unit and ended up finding Steve. He spent hours on the phone with us to replace the unit and reprogram each and every switch in our home. In the process, he was so very easy to deal with that we joked that we were now "in a relationship"! Following the initial programming, Steve has been available, sometimes on a moment's notice, to us whenever we find that we are in need of changes. Without question, my husband and I recommend this company highly and without any reservation.
